Butt Namkeen

Tried their mutton and chicken karahi, and both were exceptionally good. I usually avoid mutton because in Islamabad many upscale restaurants use meat that has a strange smell. But to my surprise, their mutton karahi had absolutely no smell, not even a hint of it. Their BBQ pieces were also very juicy and tender, with the masala perfectly infused all the way through. Overall, a great experience. Will visit again

They have adapted a strange custom of charging service charges in the bill wether you like it or not. I ordered 2 chicken karahi for which I was handed over the bill with 560 service charges and 160 for packing the second karahi as a take away. Very disappointed

Good Food, A bit Less Quantity. Good Atmosphere

They have this nice improvisation to their brand & menu to compete with Shinwari style by launching Butt Namkeen. Namkeen menu was so so. The regular menu of Butt is good, the desi chicken has room for improvement. Service is lagging behind, they can certainly improve a lot. Electronic / card payments are not supported which is disappointing if you take into account min 2000 per head bill etc. They charge you 7% as service charges so you don’t have to worry about TIP at the end. Surprisingly, they don’t charge any GST or tax. The outdoor seating and atmosphere is excellent. Location is accessible, heart of I-8 Markaz, plenty of parking space, no worriers.

Overall it was a very good experience and service was really good but it is very disappointing that they don't have a single Pakistani product. They provided us with the local drinks from nearby shops.

The taste is good but the service is very slow and they add 7% as the service charges in the bill so no need to worry about the tip

Worst experience ever. Decent food, but overpriced for the small portions. The real issue was the terrible service—rude staff, long wait times, and no sense of customer care. Even getting water and roti took forever. The food might be okay, but the horrible service ruins the experience. Never visiting again.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. Drinks were delayed, and a waiter spilled a beverage on us while smiling and did not apologize. When I asked for the manager, I was told he was unavailable. Despite the poor service, we were charged a 7% service fee. Very disappointing experience.

Second time coming this restaurant. Because had good experience first time. Main impression is taste of chicken karahi . Coming and enjoying .
