Cafe Dolma - Since 1984 | Majnu ka Tila

Visited Majnu Ka Tila today and was surprised to explore the Tibetan market area—it’s vibrant and interesting. We stopped at Cafe Dolma (Since 1984) expecting authentic Tibetan food. It was nice to see Tibetan people working there, which added to the cultural authenticity. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The food is heavily overpriced for the quantity and quality served. The taste was so bland and unpleasant that I actually felt nauseous and had to throw up. The cocktails were equally bad—completely disappointing and pathetic, with no proper balance or flavor. For a place with so much hype and history, the food and drinks were a huge letdown. Ambience and location are decent, but that’s the only positive. Overall, not worth the money or the hype. Would not recommend.

A lovely place to unwind with a soothing vibe and open-air rooftop setting. The ambience is relaxed and refreshing — perfect for a calm evening. Highly recommend trying their Jhol Momos — absolutely delicious! Really enjoyed my time here

The rooftop and atmosphere of this café are amazing the Kothey Momos and Thukpa were delicious and the service was excellent aslaan was very polite and attentive making sure we were comfortable throughout great hospitality and a lovely cafe overall highly recommended ❤️

Loved the experience here! The ambiance was warm and cozy. The staff was super polite and helped us with menu suggestions since it was our first time trying authentic Korean food.

Go to this place for it’s ambience. Food was average. The lemon chicken that we had ordered tasted stale. Chicken noodles was colorful not tasteful. The Manchow soup, lesser said the better. The chicken burger was the winner among the lot. It tasted much better than the rest.

The vibe makes it all good. The ambience live DJ was cool. Really enjoyed my time there. Some cuisine were delicious and some like kothe momo wasn’t decent enough. So the food is okayish I’m sure I’ve had more great delicacies somewhere else but overall a good experience.

Visited Dolma Cafe and tried their Juicy Chicken Drumstick, Hakka Noodles, and Assorted Veg Dim Sum. The food was average… flavors were okay but nothing special… but the biggest disappointment was the service… It was extremely slow, we had to call the staff 2-3 times just to place our order, and they seemed very inattentive and careless, barely looking our way. Waiting for them to even acknowledge us made the experience frustrating. Wouldn’t recommend it If you’re looking for quick service or attentive staff, I wouldn’t recommend this place. It may work if you’re okay with waiting, but the overall experience fell short.

Best i visited today and the food is excellent 😍 also the theme of this cafe is very good.

It was a nice experience over there. The vibe was really pleasing. I ate Kimbap there for the first time which was a wonderful experience. Exploring different cuisines and cultures is really amazing and Majnu ka teela is one of the best places to do this in affordable ranges. The order came a little bit late due to some issues but we took that time to get ourselves comfortable in that environment and vibe. Really a nice experience, one must visit there.

What a beautiful place 💕 Went to this cafe with my girl gang, it's a must visit for everyone going to majnu ka tilla. The decor, the ambience, it's just perfect. The staff is very friendly & very polite. We ordered Ema Datshi, Ting Mo, Veg peri peri pasta, Iced latte , cold coffee blend and cold coffee with ice cream. All the items were decent in taste. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Dolma Café is hidden treasure in majnu ka tila. The food was amazing, ambience was calming and staff was Polite. The view from the roof at night gives a full look of Majnu ka tila and near by areas covered in beautiful lights. The food and drinks are served at a good price which will not harm your pockets. An Arcade machine is also set on the floor to enjoy Nostalgic KOF Games. Great Haven for Solos, couples or families, but sometimes it takes time to find a table for 6 or more people due to high demand.

We are 3 friends, visited at the evening around 6:30pm. It is on 6th floor and the lift was not working at that time. There is moderate rush so we found the seat easily. We ordered Tibetan cheese tea which we don't like the taste of it. Another we ordered a soup divided in two portions, the taste of soup was good. For this two we paid around rs340+GST. The roof top environment and view looks very nice as you can see in pictures added in this comment but I don't like the taste of their food.

We had visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation and it was a worth to try. Good options for people who wish to try Tibetan, and there were Korean dishes available as well. The quality and quantity were satisfactory. We tried Miso Soup with Tofu, Chilli Chicken, Salt & Pepper Crispy Corn, White Rice Kimbab, and Jhol Momos and slush mocktails. The taste was very comforting except two dishes Crispy Corn and Chilly Chicken were little too salty. Rooftop is well kit and set to cheer your evenings.

The Dolma’s is my favourite restaurant in MT . I just love everything about this place 💜Food ,ambiance , service, vibe , live music A+++++ . It’s my go to place Whenever I have a guest or friends from my hometown I bring them here . The Dolma’s have never disappointed me ✌🏻The staff n the owner here are very friendly 🫶🏻🥰 . 10/10 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We tried following: - Chilli garlic momos - Paneer Baley Service was not good, we had to wait a lot for the order. Taste was mostly bland of both dishes.

The food and ambience is very great. The live music made our dinner more special. The service was really good and the staff members are very great specially Arsalaan.

Bad food. Toppings on pizza- dry, though they tried to make it saucy with their weird tasting sauce- bad. 2 people couldn't finish that pizza. We were literally using humor to be able to tolerate that taste and to make our time a lil better there. Alfredo pasta - quality or quantity - bad. This cafe has been here for so long, but compromised on food. Can work on this. If ambience and staff service is your priority and doesn’t care much about food, you can choose this cafe.

Cute and cozy cafe for Tibetan food. If you are lucky you will get table on rooftop immediately otherwise you will have to wait. But view from rooftop compensates wait time. It was my first time so I had Gyathuk and Erma Datse momo , and both were amazing. Staff is friendly and polite. Ambience is great.

They have veg and non veg items. Authentic Tibetan food. Must try their non alcoholic beverages like fruit beer(100) Momos are okay. vibes is amazing. Free Wifi
