Visited Calicut Notebook inside Lulu Murrabah and had a really good experience. The location is very convenient easy to reach, even by metro. The ambience and interior design are beautiful. They also have outdoor seating, which is a nice option if you prefer open air. Tried the seabream fish — it was juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked. Very delicious and fresh. I also ordered several other dishes (will share the photos 😄). Everything tasted good, though I don’t remember the exact names of each item. Service was professional and polite. Food took a little time to arrive, but it was quite busy at that time, so understandable. Overall, a nice dining spot with good food and good atmosphere. Definitely worth trying if you’re nearby. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s great to see South Indian premium restaurants like this in Riyadh. The ambience is nice, and the food and service were good. The only downside was the disturbance from staff arranging reservation tables during our visit, which slightly affected our dining experience and made us feel rushed.

We finally have a Kerala restaurant in Riyadh with a great ambience and truly tasty food. We visited last Thursday and even though the restaurant was not officially open to the public yet, the team kindly welcomed us and invited us to try their delicious offerings. From starters to main courses and desserts… everything was impressive. The staff were extremely charming, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The food had a beautiful fusion of flavors, authentic yet well-balanced, making it enjoyable and acceptable for people of all nationalities, not just those familiar with South Indian cuisine. We genuinely loved the experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for South Indian /Kerala flavors in Riyadh. Thank you for bringing this wonderful concept and taste to the city… we wish you great success.

Calicut Notebook Restaurant was a visually appealing and well organized establishment. The highlight of their menu was the wide variety of authentic and unique items. The service was exceptional, and the food arrived promptly after placing the order.

Absolutely loved the place! The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We’ll definitely be coming back again. The tea was really good too—though the full glass was a bit too much for me!

We came back for a second time the next day cause the experience was so good!🥰 Suneesh and all the other staff gave us a 5 star experience by attending to us so friendly. The food is also excellent. They take a lot of effort into the plating and the taste of the food is unbelievable yummy! Im still freamijg about the Thai mango salad and koondal varathiyadh. The first day we actually didn’t have a booking for the iftar table as we came to know about it late. But they made us a place regardless. We also ordered a lot of food to take back to Germany, and they packed it very well for us. Everything reached well all the way from Riyadh to Germany. We will be coming here every time we visit Riyadh inshaAllah. 🥰

Food tastes delicious and very fresh. Excellent ambience and the staff is also quite attentive and respectful . Will surely visit again.

Very disappointed with the service. I Had waited for a long time before anyone came to take our order. After calling someone, a staff member came and simply dropped the menu on the table, and again had to wait for a long time for someone to actually take our order. Eventually, I had to look around and search for staff myself. The service was not satisfactory at all and needs serious improvement. Hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer service.

The place was buzzing in the first week of its opening. Each of the dish we tried was good. Tried the beef fry, fish fry, mango fish curry, chicken payoli, mutton biryani and the samovar chai. Each of these were good. We did find it challenging to get the staff’s attention to be served but it is an excusable considering it is still their first week of operation. Keep up the good standard and wish you the best.

We ordered meals, but they arrived cold. The side dishes were minimal, and nothing stood out as particularly noteworthy. Service is good , overall ambiance was nice.

The food was amazing, not very spicy, Mr. Rasheek did an excellent job in serving. We will come back for more...

Special thanks to the manager, Shabeer, for his professional and friendly attitude. He speaks Arabic and communicates very well, and he made sure everything was perfect. Loved this place! The food was so tasty with huge portions, and the staff were really friendly. Best part is that the price is a steal deal for what you get. Definitely coming back soon!
