Pricey but very unique experience. But hey, you’re already in Vancouver – when will you be there again? It’s a beautiful park with a long and rich history. The main suspension bridge has been there for decades and over the years they’ve added numerous other suspension walkways and engineering marvels of walkways hanging over nothingness. Lush flora and fauna abound throughout the park and is accompanied by the sound of rushing water through the gorge.  The recommendation is to go early in the day or later in the afternoon to avoid heavy crowds. We arrived about 2 hours before closing which was just about the perfect amount of time for us. To get there, you can pick up a free shuttle from very near the Canada Place Welcome Centre in downtown Vancouver. Bonus tip: rather than shuttling back downtown afterwards, pick up public transit bus 236 to Lonsdale Quay at the bus stop right next to the shuttle pick up. Gives a more local perspective and terminates at Longsdale Quay where there are restaurants, shopping and a fabulous view of downtown Vancouver. When you’re finished, you can pick up the Sea Bus (near where the bus line terminates) back to downtown which is also pretty cool for those who, like me, don’t often have the opportunity to ride in water taxis.

Amazing experience, for those who hate heights this may not be for you. It’s safe to walk just a bit of swaying under your feet if everyone is on one side of the bridge walking. Beware this is the most congested part of the experience but once you cross it disperses. The hand rails and bridge are sturdy enough to support you but the walk on the bridge will make you feel otherwise. Amazing views from the bridge and canopy walk. Fresh air and birds to enjoy. The cliff walk is wild but great experience as well. Between the bridge and the cliff I’d say the cliff was the sturdiest part of the trip. If you get the chance get the tickets in advance and early morning. The trees protect from most of the heat and there is a cool breeze under the trees. Recommend the Chocolate Treetop ice cream on the summer days. Nice refreshing treat to end the experience before going back across the bridge. Stop by for lunch at the Loggers Grill near the trade shop. The Salmon Burger tasted fresh and was juicy. Tried poutine for the first time with the cheese curds and gravy. Solid experience 👌🏼

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Located in beautiful North Vancouver, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of the region’s most iconic attractions and a place well worth visiting—especially if you enjoy nature, unique viewpoints, and a bit of adventure. Parking is available on-site, which makes access fairly convenient if you’re driving. The park also offers senior and military discounts, a thoughtful gesture that helps offset what is otherwise a fairly steep admission price. While the entry fee is undeniably high—and items for sale inside the park can also be quite expensive—the good news is that your admission includes access to all the attractions within the park, so once you’re inside there’s plenty to explore. The highlight is, of course, the famous suspension bridge stretching across the Capilano River, offering incredible views and a thrilling walk above the canyon. Beyond the bridge, the park includes several other experiences like treetop walkways and cliffside paths that make the visit feel like a full outdoor adventure rather than just a single attraction. There are excellent opportunities for photos throughout the park, from forest scenery to dramatic viewpoints. Inside, you’ll also find a very charming gift shop with souvenirs and locally themed items. One aspect that really stands out is the educational component. Throughout the park, informative displays and interpretive signs teach visitors about the local rainforest ecosystem, wildlife, and conservation efforts. It’s engaging for younger visitors but still interesting for adults. If you can look past the price tag, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park delivers a memorable experience in a stunning natural setting. 🌲📸

An absolute must-do in Vancouver! Crossing the bridge is amazing, but the Treetops Adventure and the Cliffwalk were actually my favorite parts. Walking among the giant Douglas firs feels like being in a movie. It’s well-maintained, the staff is super friendly, and the free shuttle from downtown makes it so easy to visit. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and get the best photos!

This place is always a great spot to visit! We first came last year for the Christmas lights and received an annual pass when we bought our admission. Today, we visited the Love Lights around 3:30 p.m., and they were absolutely gorgeous. Another bonus was that it was not crowded at all. We also did a nature tour with Bruce, and he was an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and great guy to chat with. Even though we grew up in the Greater Vancouver area, Bruce had so much knowledge that we would have never known about. Thanks for making our experience even better!

-We had an amazing experience at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Our group arrived before sunset, and since it wasn’t crowded, we got in quickly with no long wait times. We stayed until nightfall, which was when the place really came alive with lights and more visitors. I’d definitely recommend arriving before sunset to avoid the crowds and then sticking around to enjoy the evening atmosphere. - Parking is up to 3 hours, but you can extend it if needed. - While the bridge is beautiful during the day, it’s even more magical at night with all the lights. So I would recommend the night time experience more than day time. Also remember to check out the cliff walk section to the right side that I don't see many people go. And don’t miss out on their hot chocolate, especially the honey hot chocolate.

We visited on Saturday around 11am. It is well managed with activities for kids, gift shop, several boardwalk trails and a tree top adventure. The bridge itself is amazing and there is a very cool area that explains the history. You can definitely spend a few hours here. I highly recommend you visit right as it opens and / or on a weekday. The bridge moves alot more with a ton of people crossing back and forth but it is safe and fun to say you did it!

Visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge was just wow, what an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped onto the iconic bridge, the views of the lush green canyon and the feeling of being suspended high above the river were absolutely thrilling. I loved exploring every part of the park. Besides the main suspension bridge, the Cliffwalk takes you along a glass-bottomed walkway with stunning perspectives of the forest floor. The Treetops Adventure is another highlight, with a series of mini bridges strung between massive old-growth trees—perfect for anyone wanting to feel like they're walking among the treetops! There are also captivating nature trails, kid-friendly activities, and fascinating educational exhibits throughout the grounds. The food on site was excellent, especially after a bit of adventure! I enjoyed a tasty meal at the cafe, and the gift shop was loaded with unique souvenirs. The customer service was top-notch—staff were friendly, informative, and really added to the welcoming feel of the park. Parking isn’t free, so make note of that, but the convenience is worth it. If you’re coming from downtown Vancouver, don’t miss the free shuttle bus—it’s comfortable, efficient, and perfectly connects with the city’s vibrant energy. Overall, Capilano Suspension Bridge offers an unbeatable mix of excitement, beauty, and great amenities. It’s a must-see for anyone visiting Vancouver, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Visited Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and had a fantastic experience. Walking across the suspension bridge was both thrilling and scenic, with beautiful views all around. The Treetops Adventure was a fun highlight, letting us walk among the trees and enjoy the forest from a unique perspective. The Cliffwalk was another standout an exciting pathway along the cliff with stunning views that made the whole visit feel like an adventure. We also grabbed some hot chocolate, which was perfect for warming up while exploring. One thing worth mentioning is how clean and well-maintained the public washrooms were definitely appreciated during a busy day of sightseeing. Overall a must-visit attraction with plenty to explore beyond just the bridge. Great views, fun activities, and very well maintained facilities. Highly recommend!

If visiting Vancouver this is a MUST DO! The bridge, cliff walk, tree top adventure are all amazing. Loved every minute (in our case 4 hours spent here). Staff are super informative, sight has a great gift shop, restaurant and clean bathrooms.

There's lots to do for every age level here and it's a really beautiful place. It does feel a bit touristy and you'll definitely be stopping behind other people looking to capture the moment but that's definitely part of the game. The suspension bridge is practically an amusement park ride -- it is pretty bouncy but not in a way that feels unsafe. The treetop walk was a big highlight for me. I wasn't expecting the amount of animators! They're knowledgeable and kind. I also caught a live music performance at one of the restaurants. Would do this at least once -- feels like it would be even better as a family activity!

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is absolutely amazing and incredibly beautiful. The views are breathtaking and the whole experience feels magical from start to finish. The park is very well maintained and everything is organized perfectly. What truly made our visit unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. They were exceptionally warm, patient, and helpful. A very special thank you to Janna, who went above and beyond to help my mom cross the bridge. She stayed with her for hours, supporting and encouraging her every step of the way. Her kindness and dedication meant so much to our family. We are so grateful and would highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!

Very nice experience! The park is well curated and maintained. We visited in June at 5pm and there were less tourists and the entrance tickets had 25% discount. The complimentary shuttle was very practical.

It was a fun packed visit. The bridge itself was fun to walk on and had an amazing view! The treetop walk was a blast. The nature tour, critters’ hollow and the totem poles were very knowledgeable and interesting. The cliff walk was thrilling and I’m still wondering if I should have bought those jade earrings at the gift shop…. Would def go back again in a different season. Experiencing something like this in nature felt very different. I felt a bit excited while crossing the bridge, but the view was worth it. The walking trails among the trees were very enjoyable. The overall layout and cleanliness of the park were also quite good. The ticket price felt a bit high, but the experience is nice. It was crowded, but it didn’t bother me much. Overall, I was very satisfied.

So worth the ticket price! Get lost in a magical forest with lots to explore. Canyon Lights added to the mystical vibes. There is a lovely treehouse for kids (and adults likewise). I like that effort was made to curate the history of the place for visitors. The giftshop is also worth visiting. The airondack chairs around a firepit are so welcoming for after. I could have spent the whole day here.
