Screen: Bigger and good curved screen. Nothing to complain about. Sound Not the best. No surround sound. It sounds like a bigger home theatre system Restroom Looks bit clean but Water - was coming in start of the movie but not at the interval or after the end Seats Numbers imprinted in each seats and it looks ok in some. Numbers were not visible in few as well which is not a big concern. The main concern is in few seats the hands got damaged in such that we can’t place a hand freely. Some seats are totally damaged as well. The problem from our side is we don’t know which seat is good or which is broken. If it is not full, may be we can change seat as we wish. If it is big star movie and your seat hand was broken then you are screwed Rate Balcony - 190 (best option to view) Normal - 100 (have not watched but might get neck pain I guess) Snacks: Moderate but haven’t tried anything hence can’t comment on the taste Route: Walkable from government Estate metro stop

One of the very old theatre in Chennai with spacious compound. Recently Renovated. Theatre is clean and neat. Recently they have let out the theatre for film festival. Sound quality and screen projection is good. Seating arrangement is good however the boot space is not sufficient

Must visit place for all the movie lovers in Chennai. It offers a good screen and sound experience as well as holds a true vintage vibes for sure ! Go for balcony for better view and if opting out for non-balcony seats, choose H-row seating.. parking is ample and the snacking options are quite decent. One of the best single screen experience in North-Chennai !!

Went for the MAAVERAN movie today in BALCONY! Big theatre with only ONE single screen. The interiors are superb but outside it is somewhat OK. The cost of the tickets are budget friendly and you can buy more snacks during the movie break since they are not overpriced! I find the seats little bit cramped (width is less) and Air conditioners are switched off during the movie which makes somewhat disappointing😐 Otherwise best theatre for watching movie at a pocket friendly expenditure👍😊

Two wheeler and Four Wheeler pay parking for Both Theatre Visitors and non Theatre visitors. Let me keep it simple pros: 1)Wide screen neat and clean 2)sound system way better than PVR PXL screen 3)Price 130 for balcony and 110 for Elite seating 5 star for that 4)parking 30 for two wheeler Cons: 1)No Apt amount of AC if huge crowd gathers definitely people will feel the humidity 2)No push back seat and bit small in size I shouldnt write more cons coz this is way old theatre and they had renovated as good as possible at the affordable price that too in chennai mount road so yeah….

Screen brightness is low. Clarity was okay, because of curved screen it hides some minute portion of the film, sounds are good. But food items they are selling inside the theatre are very tasty and less cost. Maximum price for one food(let it be popcorn, rolls, cold drinks) is ₹80.

CASINO CINEMAS - One of the oldest Single screen theatres still functional in the heart of CHENNAI with recently upgraded to 4K & DOLBY 7.1 . Screen is big , 70 mm. Good sound effects with Dolby 7.1. Viewing angles from the Balcony is good . A/C was kept low . Normal seats . The main problem with this theatre is parking . Waited for almost 30 mins to enter into the theatre for parking . There was huge traffic outside .Ticket prices will be Rs.110/- for First Class & Rs.130/- for Balcony & Rs.190/- for big movies first day shows. BIKE PARKING - Rs.20/- Pros :- 👍 Large 70MM Screen with Good sound effects. 👍Low ticket rates & easily accessible. 👍Food & Snack prices are reasonable. Cons :- 👎Huge traffic for parking during big movie releases. 👎Small restrooms in Ground Floor. 👎A/C was low . 👎 Many seats are damaged.

Overall - Worth it for the price Perfectly balanced sound. Doesn't have Atmos, but wouldn't say that's an issue. The screen is a bit dim but it was very sharp. The seats were somewhat comfortable. Bike was a bit chaotic. Restrooms weren't well maintained. The snacks counter could benefit from a rearrangement.

I liked a movie time here. Old theatre no developed but can have a gud time here. Canteen is not up to level but good maintained. Service is low... Inside theatre maintenance is poor. But still old theatre is maintained in a good manner for Telugu movies.

Movie experience was very nice it was very enjoy able bathrooms were ok and the canteen where we could buy food was very comes and I didn't like only that. It was a projected movie and only one theatre is there. Seeds were also slightly clumsy.

A very beautiful building - would have been a beauty during its glory days. Even now, the seats are good, the toilets are clean, the A.C is working fine. The sound quality is not so good. Picture quality is decent.
