CHI St. Vincent Infirmary

I went to St. Vincent’s for an ultrasound. The entire process from the time I entered to completion outstanding. The receptionist was helpful despite the ongoing construction. The tech who did the ultrasound was professional, courteous and respectful. The report was sent to my PCP record time. Over all a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend St. Vincent’s.

We have used The Diagnostic Clinic and St Vincent infusion unit. I am really impressed with the infusion unit as well as the staff and nurses. It is excellent. That being said I am upset that my wife couldn’t get her infusion for her Rheumatoid Arthritis in December. We got our November treatment a week late because or illness. So we called about getting the December treatment which would be 28 days later. We contacted the Diagnostic Clinic where scheduling occurs. Then we contacted the infusion I t at St. Vincent about her treatment date. No one could find anything about the November treatment and we were asked if she would mind missing the December treatment. Not getting that treatment is a big deal for arthritis patients due to extreme pain for a month. You would think they would have better data keeping on something this important it’s a Chemo drug. Hopefully it won’t happen again. This is a great hospital but mabye they need to update ther computer system and coordinate better wit the scheduling department.

I had a very pleasant visit . I arrived a little early incase I had to fill out forms . I needed to give my signature. I sat to wait for my appointment and was called right away. The clerk was very professional and pleasant . I was on my way in no time. Friendly atmosphere and very nice facility.

I came to the ER 3 weeks ago and they transported me to main hospital for emergency surgery. It was a pleasant experience despite my excruciating pain. Then my friend came to the ER and I went with her for a concussion and they took wonderful care of her as well. I definitely recommend this facility in all aspects and my cousin works here!

All little staff was professional except for the lady that escorted me back to my room. She kept rolling her eyes for some odd reason. I'm not sure, but it was offensive to me, i have to experience it at my confidence dropped. And be a backup after she had took blood for my laboratory work. Its the possibility that dhs could have been tired. The doctor was the most awesome one on the team. He was the most compassionate out the group.. I really appreciate his spirit.. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to express my experience.. I was born at this hospital and y'all are doing a great job far as I know, keep up the great work. Had a mylogram of my cervical spine. Everyone was great. Staff was kind, helpful,gave great instructions and explanations of what was happening. Discharge was on time , and quick with great instructions The only thing I might add is that several told me I would get a bag lunch with something to drink. Didn't mind not getting the lunch but I sure could have used a drink. Especially since all the instructions said to drink caffeinated drinks to prevent headache. Other than that everything and everyone was awesome. You have an upbeat, happy, kind staff. God bless you all

Everyone is always so sweet and nice. They help each other out only one complaint . It just takes so long. Waited 25 to 30 minutes just to get medicine sent up from pharmacy. I always come from my Doctor office and already spent time there, so just sitting another 30 waiting is very trying.

My appointment at St. Vincent Infirmary went exceptionally well. Kristine Penn handled all the arrangements and she was outstanding. She sent specific and easy to understand instructions. Sunshine was the RN before and following the procedure and I really appreciate her outstanding care. Alex also was a big help and did a great job. Dr. Deaton was the best. His explanation of the procedure was very helpful and his technique was exemplary.

I went to the emergency room for severe back pain. The lady in admissions was so kind and patient. I was seen very quickly The doctor was great he did exactly what I needed and didn't run test that he didn't need to he listened to me and got me taken care of quickly. I was in and out I give them five stars keep up the good work

Service today was the same as EVERY OTHER TIME, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! From the receptionist, to the nurse, to the doctor, EVERYONE, happily greeted me and treated me kind and caring. I highly recommend CHI St Vincent Wound Clinic, if you are dealing with any type of wound that just won't heal. They are there for you, when you need them.

My overnight stay after neck surgery was a very pleasant experience. All of the staff was very polite and attentive, especially Rosie on night shift. Drs and surgical staff were informative and caring.. From Pre-Op visit to discharge was seamless. I highly recommend CHI St. Vincent for the most compassionate and thorough care.

I had an infection clean out surgery back in January. When I went to sleep, I had two secure crowns in my mouth. When I woke up, I only had one. I advised the nurse and he tried to locate the surgeon or the doctor, but both were gone. I have been trying the past two months to get them to adjust the balance owed for the anesthesiologist after my insurance paid but no such luck. Not pay for dental repair, just adjust the balance off which is less than $400. My dentist advised it’s gonna cost a minimum of $2000 to repair my tooth. They said I was responsible for the difference and that I had signed paperwork prior to surgery saying they weren’t liable for dental work damages which is not true. I don’t remember signing any paperwork as I was so sick from the infection. Also their check in clerk tried to charge me my whole $2500 deductible, which I didn’t pay. So lastly I’ll say if I could give them a zero rating, I would. They are only worried about collecting my money and not about doing the right thing. In my 51 years, I have been to St. Vincent’s only this one time and it will definitely be the last.

Everyone was friendly, professional, and right on schedule — I never had to wait. From the receptionist to the insurance staff and every nurse I met, the whole team made me feel cared for. The doctor went above and beyond, taking time to answer every question I had. Knee replacement is stressful enough, but they made both me and my wife feel important, comfortable, and supported throughout the visit.

Shay was my favorite nurse. She was very professional and caring. Dr Nguyen and Dr Meadows saved my life. Both are artists with scapels. Dr Bauer and Grace are very professional and caring people. Dr Bauer called me a miracle and prayed for me. I am healing up at Encompass on Fort Smith. I can't say enough about the surgeons that literally saved my life! I am strongly convinced that God had his own hand to put me on these surgeons hands, Blessings to all John David Dexter

My mother was critical illness and bc of Medi care thry sent her to rehab, last 4 hours out and the beginning of the end after that. THIS HOSPITAL WILL NOT, WILL NOT RESPECT HIPPA LAWS THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF READING A PATIENT RECORD AND CONTACTING THE CORRECT PERSON This hospital should have their Medicare benefits removed. They treat the patient by the government standard. Not decent people. Is your child first contact on your paperwork? Well, don't think for one moment that this hospital will contact the right person. The legal one for an update or decision. DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONE BE HERE ALONE. It us not a safe environment. They did not feed my mother for over 30 days Called unrelated people in emergency decision moments. Your a fool to go to that stinking, old window , freezer.

Jay (nurse), Dr. Waters, the X-ray tech (sorry, forgot her name), and I believe Cassie (nurse that discharged me) were super. They explained things in easy terms to understand. Dr. Waters was so calm, extremely nice, took time to talk to me, explained everything. Super ER staff. The 1 suggestion, get that ER waiting room redone, the chairs are truly nasty, didn’t want to sit in them. All torn and worn.

Everything was great except I never recieved a shower or a bed bath for 4 days. And the day nurse was very disrespectful and even hung up on my daughter before she was finished asking for a report on me. Dr Wallace and Jaime the RN at night were absolutely spot on with care and compassion with me and my family

PET scan staff were wonderful. Registration staff not so much. They could not make up their minds about whether Medicare would or would not cover the test and I left. They later called me back and I had no other problem after that

I had a surprisingly short wait to get a CT scan done. I was apprehensive and a little nervous but was put at ease . The procedure was explained to me in very clear terms. The staff was very nice. The whole visit took about 30 minutes. I had a CT scan done of my lungs. The imagining center building I visited was very well lit and clean.

Went to the infusion since mine is being redone. I dont want to go back, 2 bad experiences with Melissa. She speaks down to you and tries to scold you like you are a child. keeps trying to change my schedule. I'm on a 28 day infusion she can't understand it changes all my dates. She is just rude and does care. She pulled me in her office, which was a mess, food beside me, music blasting while she was trying to ask me questions. My infusion was @ 1:30 and at 3:00 I left because I still did not have it. This last appointment I went in and they did not have my paper work. I ask the lady it is the right date, she said yes. She ask me to sit up front while she looked into it. Next thing I know Melissa wants to see me. She starts to inform me that she spoke to my husband Friday @11:30 and had changed my schedule. This is impossible my husband was at work and his cell # is not listed. It was like a ha ha moment for her, I told her this was ridiculous and I went and spoke to customer service, I got my infusion. I'm really not understanding why they let someone so hateful and rude deal with patience. Its like she hates her job. The nurses that give the infusions are great!!!! From my understanding I'm not the only one that has complained and I was not going to write this thinking she had a bad day, but it happened again so here we are.
