Loved this place! Very nice owners, it's a family run restaurant with a cozy garden. The service was great but the food was even better! Had the grilled calamari and it was full of flavor, came with a lot of vegetables, salad, fries. Generous portion and very good price. One of the only places where tip not included automatically but is well deserved! They even treated me to bananas as a dessert. Totally recommended!

Trafiliśmy do restauracji przez przypadek bo była najbliżej naszego hotelu. Ale okazało się to strzałem w dziesiątkę. Mała rodzinna restauracja prowadzona przez uroczą rodzinę. Atmosferę podkręca grająca w tle muzyka reggae. Ale najlepsze jest jedzenie. Grillowane ryby,pyszne owoce morza i zupy. Wieczorem warto wpaść na drinka. Wizyta w Tangalle bez odwiedzenia tej restauracji jest niepełna

Sono stato a mangiare qui a Tangalle e devo dire che è stata una bellissima sorpresa. Ho mangiato un pesce freschissimo, cucinato davvero in modo semplice ma perfetto: saporito, morbido e si sentiva chiaramente che era appena pescato. Il proprietario, Amile, è una persona davvero gentile e accogliente. Ti fa sentire subito a casa e si prende cura degli ospiti con grande attenzione. Il posto è molto bello e tipico, con un’atmosfera rilassata e una piacevole musica giamaicana in sottofondo che rende tutto ancora più speciale. Ho preso anche una buona insalata mista e, visto che ero un po’ raffreddato dopo il volo appena fatto dalla Thailandia, Amile mi ha preparato spontaneamente un tè caldo con spezie e aromi ayurvedici davvero fantastico. Un gesto semplice ma che dimostra la grande ospitalità del posto. Se passate da Tangalle vi consiglio assolutamente di fermarvi qui: cibo fresco, atmosfera autentica e un’accoglienza che difficilmente si dimentica.

Toller Service, tolles Essen, tolles Ambiente! Wir waren schon zweimal da und haben jedes Mal köstlich gegessen. Sogar ein Extrawunsch (Coconut Roti mit Honig und Banane) wurde uns erfüllt und ist sehr zu empfehlen ;)

Nous sommes retournés manger dans ce restaurant tellement la nourriture était bonne! Les frites maisons sont excellentes et les poissons/calamars/crevettes frais sont super bien cuisinés Les pâtes au fromage sont très bonnes également Les propriétaires sont super gentils et accueillants Le lieu est calme avec de la bonne musique

Wir waren insgesamt zwei Mal hier, da uns das Rice & Curry so gut geschmeckt hat. Man bekommt auch wirklich tollen Salat. Die gebackene Banane mit Eis ist ein Traum. Abends ist der Garten wunderschön beleuchtet. Wir kommen gerne beim nächsten Urlaub wieder.

Przepyszne jedzenie, przygotowane z ogromną starannością i podane w niezwykle apetyczny sposób. Sam wygląd potraw zachęca do jedzenia. Właściciele są bardzo serdeczni, uśmiechnięci i pozytywnie nastawieni do gości, co sprawia, że od pierwszej chwili można poczuć się tu naprawdę wyjątkowo. Trafiliśmy do tej restauracji na kolację, która okazała się absolutnie rewelacyjna, dlatego bez wahania wróciliśmy kolejnego dnia na śniadanie. Ono również było pyszne oraz dopracowane w każdym detalu. To miejsce ma wyjątkowy klimat i zdecydowanie wyróżnia się na tle innych lokali w okolicy. Prawdziwa perełka, do której chce się wracać. Polacy serdecznie pozdrawiają.

Przepyszne jedzenie! Czekaliśmy około 50 min ale warto! Wszystkie dania wszystkim smakowały. Bardzo dobre ceny. Miła i pomocna obsługa. Polecamy! :)

Jedzenie było przepyszne, najlepsze jakie jedliśmy na Sri Lance. Właściciele przeuroczy, nawet pojechali po najskuteczniejsze dla nas. Z całego serca polecam to miejsce

We had breakfast here everyday during our stay in Tangalle. The food was fresh and very tasty (both Sri Lankan and Western versions) and the price was good. The host is very welcoming and attentive. This place is very child friendly too. You can even order your breakfast the night before through WhatsApp! This spot is also wonderful for dinner, atmospheric with the lights and music. A perfect no nonsense place for those of you who like to experience an authentic food spot, even during off season! We'll come back next time we're in Tangalle. Thank you 🙏

Ich war hier nur zum Essen. Die Sri lankische Küche hier ist der Wahnsinn. Sehr lecker, egal ob breakfast, lunch oder dinner und es ist immer frisch. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam und sie haben Räucherstäbchen und Spray gegen die Moskitos. Tolles Ambiente zum Essen. Danke

Abbiamo trovato questo posto camminando lungo la spiaggia di Tangalle. La famiglia ci ha ispirato subito fiducia ed i piatti preparati in casa erano squisiti e puramente tradizionali. Nonostante il brutto tempo e la pioggia il sorriso e la gentilezza non sono mancati. Grazie di cuore Chill Hut Cafe & Restaurent!

Down a side street 1 min from the beach, while you don't get sea views you get amazing fresh fish and lovely friendly service. We had the grilled prawns and tuna which were presented to us fresh before being prepared with a lovely salad, home made fries and rice. Along with two alcoholic drinks and a tonic the bill was 8,000 rupees. Recommended if you love fresh fish and want a break from the sea views!

Consiglio vivamente questo posto, il proprietario è la sua famiglia sono super disponibili e carini. Abbiamo mangiato un buonissimo piatto di calamari con patatine e alla fine ci hanno offerto della frutta. Venite qui a mangiare se vi trovate a Tangalle!

Navštívili jsme tuto restauraci a byli jsme nadšení už od prvního okamžiku. Jídlo bylo výborné a porce opravdu velké – rozhodně jsme odcházeli spokojení a najedení. Prostředí restaurace má skvělou atmosféru, příjemné posezení doplňuje hudba, světýlka a celkově velmi útulné prostředí, které nás hned chytlo. Majitel byl navíc velmi přátelský a postaral se o to, abychom se cítili opravdu vítaní. Celkově se nám tady moc líbilo a určitě bychom se sem rádi vrátili. Skvělé místo na příjemný večer!

We have recently spent about 3 weeks in the Tangalle area, discovering this restaurant by sheer luck and found it so good we dined there three times having different food each time, all of which was fantastic, fresh produce and cooked as you ask for. The owner and his family are extremely friendly and helpful and will tailor everything to suit your tastes. They even put on a birthday party, much to my embarrassment but the blame for that lies firmly with my wife and our friends.

Wspaniałe miejsce. Trafiliśmy do tej restauracji pierwszego dnia naszego pobytu w Tangalle i przez kolejne 4 dni jedliśmy sniadania i obiady tylko tam. Jedzenie pyszne, domowe, zawsze świeże i aromatyczne. Domowa atmosfera, właściciele przeuroczy i bardzo pomocni. Zorganizowali nam nawet urodziny dla naszego dziecka. Miejsce, które KONIECZNIE trzeba odwiedzić:)

Went here for dinner and got the grilled chicken with a salad. Probably the best grilled chicken I ever had, it was seasoned perfectly! It’s a really cute family owned restaurant with a lovely seating area outside. A lot of lights and the chill music gave it a great atmosphere.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sogar ein Insektenschutzspray bekommen und es wurden sofort Räucherwerke zum Moskito Schutz aufgestellt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!!!
