China Tang Dubai

China Tang is a special place for us because we came here almost a year ago for our anniversary and had one of the best meals. We knew we had to come back with a bigger group this time, mainly because half a Peking duck is too much for two.. especially when there are way too many great dishes here that you won’t want to miss. Shine was the sunshine of our experience this time. He walked us through the entire menu and helped us order for the table, which included 6 adults and a 6 year old. He was super patient and even made the duck pancake rolls for us. The drinks were refreshing and the dim sums never disappoint. We were also there for their temperature offer ☀️

The experience went above my expectations. The great service starts from the hostess team till the General Manager, the attention to details is in another level leaving aside that the restaurant itself is just beautiful. The food is really tasty along with the cocktails makes the perfect pairing. Thanks to Daniel and Paisly for the outstanding experience.

Lovely experience with the Grand Tier Brunch, with lovely service and hospitality at this location. Each course was explained for us to support dietary differences and the entire experience was really nice. Beautiful dishes and ambiance with beautiful views of Downtown Dubai. I recommend if you're a fan of Chinese cuisine. It was my first visit and hope to enjoy again. Special thanks to Ravjiv and Hector for their exceptional service. 👏🏾

Ambience: Beautifully designed restaurant with an indoor and outdoor sitting area. The view is magnificent and the color combination of the design is very nice. The interior is very cosy and charming. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Food: Good but extremely average. Nothing special about the food. The hot and sour soup and the corn soup with crab both had a very weird taste. At a venue like Lana hotel and at this price point one would expect a way better food. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Service: One of the most uncomfortable dinning experiences we have had. We felt so uncomfortable that we did not order main course and dessert and left. The waiter was standing on top of our head, there was no privacy what so ever. We asked for the menu and literally after 1 minute he asked “ what is your order” , I asked him to give us few minutes, after another one minute he came and asked “ what is your order” and I told him I will call when we are ready. He constantly interrupted our private conversation and made us feel extremely uncomfortable . And if that wasn’t enough he was standing right beside our table constantly clicking the pen in this hand which was the most annoying noise one can have when dining. We did not enjoy the little food we had at all , and it was the first time we left a restaurant that fast without having a full meal because we felt uncomfortable. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Overall: We had a horrible time and just hope restaurants properly train their team specially in the fine dining setting.

Recently we had the pleasure of visiting China Tang Restaurant in The Lana Dubai for dinner and had a wonderful experience. China Tang is a Chinese fine dining restaurant that offers Cantonese cuisine in a glamorous 1930’s Shanghai-inspired setting. Expect Cantonese classics, signature Beijing Duck carved table-side, Shanghai-style glamour and impressive service.

One of the best chinese food in Dubai. The best view of burj khalifa and the atmosphere too. The prawn toast, dim sums and wagyu steak with pepper was amazing. Jairo was our waiter and he was extremely attentive, friendly and professional. Definitely recommend!

Every dish is delicious with authentic Chinese flavors. The service was so good, and Jenny was especially lovely! Highly recommend to come here.

Had a wonderful lunch experience today! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive throughout. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavours especially the mains, which were perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. The team made sure everything arrived on time and checked in just the right amount. Overall, it was an enjoyable and satisfying lunch definitely a place worth coming back to!

A shout out to China Tang for making it such an incredible experience last night at dinner, we were there to celebrate my daugter's birthday. The terrace is without doubt the best place to get your table with a view which is astounding. The views are incredible and the service is great! We were served by Rajeev who was wonderful and attentive. He was happy to suggest what we should try on the menu and whatever he said turned out to be really delicious. I would absolutely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant especially for a special occasion. The manager, Kiran was an absolute delight always attentive towards all the guests and made a special effort to make us feel wekcome. The Duck here is a must try and so are all the other dishes, if you enjoy chinese cuisine and also want great service and a view to die for then look no furthur than China Tang!

First, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sebastian for accommodating us! We came to china Tang for a few drinks but ended up having a full blown dinner. The welcome at the reception was very outstanding, shine our waiter, was the star of the evening, the dish explanations, the coursing of the food, his energy and hospitality was so exceptional. We got treated to a live band by 2 amazing ladies and thats something that even made the evening more unique. Jeva had the best smile, we asked him to help us spell his name and he said like jeva code , we all burst into laughter. Our favorite salad was the duck salad, the presentation of this salad is something you dont find easily. - JUMA Shine was extremely knowledgeable, his understanding of the food and the way he introduced each dish was truly exceptional. Everything was perfectly presented! The service was both beautiful and incredible; the team is highly professional and attentive. Special thanks to Shine our amazing and outstanding host and also to Jeva for your wonderful assistance. The entire experience was outstanding; we loved every dish that was served. Each one had its own unique character and absolutely delicious flavor. The Cuban musician elevated the atmosphere to another level, the voice was mesmerizing, soothing, and wonderfully sensual. It made the evening unforgettable. The venue itself was spectacular; elegant, stylish, and effortlessly sexy in its décor. China Tang, the famous Chinese restaurant in London has finally arrived in Dubai. Classic decor with high ceilings although not very comfortable chairs. We were told that the Peking Duck requires 60 minutes to be prepared. It is not unusual for this item to take time to be prepared but normally other Chinese restaurants in Dubai would allow you to pre-order it, I think which they do not offer here. They had no fish on the day we dined and no squid so our choices were limited to meat items. This is a bit strange for a restaurant and it indicates an issue with sourcing. The food was, however very good and freshly cooked. I believe if they manage to fix some of the issues they have this restaurant has a very good potential.

Насколько понимаю, место недавно открылось. Так встретили чудесно, посадили и вроде все хорошо. Персонал внимательный… официант…😞 Долго путался в коктейлях, ничего не мог (и как будто бармен не смог) предложить из несладких коктейлей…. Просила Sour… предложили классику, принесли - пить не стала… вернула… разводил руки про альтернативу. Отчаились, попросили пива, один вид в наличии 🫣 Заказали еду Помидоры салат сладкие как сушенный кумкуват, принесли роллы с элементами манго - сладкие … аж сами забрали Заказали утку по пекински, еще и акция была, 30гр икры в подарок. Утка огонь!! Повар разделал при нас, приятно Офисе ты реально лишнюю суету наводили. Столы круглые и широкие…. Принесли блинчики, так поставили, что брать не удобно, попросила разделить на две порции и поставить друг с другом… чуть подвинули к середине, все равно - не удобно… я показала, что нам вставать тогда придется… поняли… пошли разделять Принесли мини лавашики, забыли тарелку для разделителя бумажного🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Заказали утку какую то еще, предупредили… сладкое не хотим!! Острое не едим!!! Принесли, Чили слайсами там лежит, ну острое … вернули. Не стали есть Прошло около 2 часов, возвратов блюд и все такое. Подходит официант среди трапезы и говорит - Вам с собой еду завернуть?? Наверно намекнул, что бронь на 2 часа идет на ужин. Я согласна, но зал полупустой!!! Ошибки и неприятности по меню и обслуживанию. Зачем выгонять то? Обстановка, оформление, вид, локация, высоченные потолки - все просто огонь…. Поработайте с персоналом, реально не дотягивают до заявленного сервиса! Не дешевое место же Ушли на террасу. Важный разговор был. Сидели около часа и активно общались. Официанты тут включились, поняли, что важно Умнички тут, чай сами принесли и пироженку подарили, поняли видно что нам поговорить надо и , что ошибки их были. Собираюсь уходить. Забираю еду с собой. Прихожу домой, все положили, икру нет((( Вот такой опыт был Счет на 1400 дирхам почти на 2 человек. Надеюсь, исправят сервис и раздумают откорректируют меню

I had an amazing experience at China Tang in The Lana, Dubai. The Art Deco interiors are stunning, and the atmosphere feels both elegant and relaxed. The Beijing Duck was a highlight—perfectly crispy and full of flavor—and the dim sum was some of the best I’ve had. Service was warm and attentive, making the whole evening feel special. Definitely a spot I’d return to for a memorable night out.

An unforgettable experience at The Longevity Table, The Lana Promenade (Dorchester Collection). A beautifully curated evening where every course was exceptional — from the slow-cooked lobster with caviar to Sir David’s hot & sour soup and the perfectly balanced Hong Kong–style roasted duck. Each dish reflected precision, flavor, and artistry. The steamed Chilean sea bass and braised Wagyu short rib were standouts, and dessert — the Baked Macau Egg Tart and Sweet Rice Mousse — was pure perfection. Chef Sir David’s warm hospitality and attention to detail elevated the experience even further. A true celebration of fine dining, culture, and craftsmanship.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I arranged a dinner for my mother and her friends, and China Tang exceeded all expectations. Excellent food, stunning presentation, beautiful ambience and breathtaking views, everything was perfect. The service was warm and attentive throughout, and my mother and all her friends left absolutely delighted. Outstanding hospitality from start to finish. We will definitely be back! 🙏

We came for happy hour drinks and bites stayed 4 hours in the end the place has a nice ambience and staff were extremely attentive! Love the decor and the food

The duck here is absolutely phenomenal—easily the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to many duck-focused restaurants. The skin is perfectly crisp with no excess fat, and it practically melts in your mouth, especially with the touch of brown sugar. The quality of the duck is truly outstanding. On top of that, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. A fantastic dining experience all around.
