Our visit to Chitwan National Park was nothing short of magical. From the moment we entered the park, we were surrounded by dense, untouched forest that felt alive with every step. The natural beauty here is on another level tall grasslands, thick jungle, and the peaceful sounds of wildlife all around. The highlight of our experience was definitely the elephant ride. Sitting atop such a majestic animal and moving quietly through the forest gave us a completely different perspective of the jungle. It felt adventurous yet serene at the same time. And the wildlife absolutely incredible! We were lucky enough to spot a one-horned rhinoceros in its natural habitat, which was truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Along the way, we also saw crocodiles basking near the water, elegant peacocks showing off their beauty, and so many different species of birds filling the air with their calls. Every few minutes, there was something new to admire. Chitwan isn’t just a place you visit—it’s something you experience deeply. The combination of thrilling wildlife encounters, peaceful natural surroundings, and raw jungle adventure makes it unforgettable. If you love nature and wildlife, this place is an absolute must-visit.

We had an amazing experience at Chitwan National Park. We went on a 4-hour safari and were able to see many different kinds of animals and birds. The safari was exciting and the natural beauty of the park was wonderful. It was a memorable experience for our family. Highly recommend visiting Chitwan National Park if you are in Nepal.

The jungle safari here is awesome with great weather and untouched nature. You'll find all sorts of animals like tigers, elephants, and rhinos. Not sure about tigers, but you'll definitely see rhinos and elephants.

A dense forest national park with amazing wildlife sightings. We spotted one-horned rhinos, elephants, peacocks, monkeys, three kinds of deer, birds and rhinos.Its veryhard to see tiger but if you saw it you are the luckiest person.

Sehr viele verschiedene Tiere (Panzernashörner, Tiger, Gaviale, Lippenbären, Elefanten, Rehe, Hirsche, Pfauen, diverse Vögel, …), sehr sauber, beeindruckende Natur und durch das Militär beschützt. Es gibt Jeep Safaris durch den Park. Zum großen Teil bewegt man sich alleine durch den Park, da er sehr weitläufig ist und etwa nur 35 Jeeps eine Zulassung für den Park haben. Es gibt einige Aussichtstürme und auch Lodges für Übernachtungen direkt im Nationalpark.

Byliśmy na popołudniowym safari jeepem. Można zobaczyć nosorożce, langury, dziko żyjące pawie i inne ptaki. Na farmie krokodyli - dwa gatunki żyjące w pobliskiej rzece. Krokodyle żyją w boksach podzielone wiekowo. Niestety lokalna ludność wypala trawy, w ciągu dnia były widoczne bardzo duże kłęby dymu a w nocy niebo było rozświetlone czerwoną łuną. Nastepnego dnia byliśmy na treku przez dżunglę z dwoma przewodnikami. Bardzo polecamy.

Siamo stati nel parco la mattina con un walking safari mentre invece il pomeriggio, viste le temperature, abbiamo optato per un jeep safari. È stata la migliore opzione. Non abbiamo visto la pantera ma un sacco di animali tra i quali il rinoceronte. Abbiamo avuto la mattina delle guide fantastiche che ci hanno portato in posti strategici del parco e così, abbiamo potuto osservare e ammirare molti animali nel loro habitat. La prossima volta, farò il walking safari di 7 giorni.

Je mets 4 étoiles à cause de notre déception de ne pas avoir vu de Tigres et d’éléphants. Heureux sont les chanceux qui arrivent à en voir !!! Nous avons vu des rhinocéros, des singes, des paons et des daims. L’accès au site est très compliqué vous devez attendre une barque disponible sous la chaleur étouffante, puis celle ci vous conduit à l’autre bout de la rive où vous devez encore marcher sous la canicule jusqu’à la jeep… idem pour le retour. A part ça nous ne regrettons pas de l’avoir fait car des rhinocéros en pleine nature on en voit pas tous les jours !!!!

We visited on a jeep jungle safari arranged through our hotel, which was well organized. Truly a memorable experience and a must-visit for nature and wildlife lovers. We will surely revisit, but in the summer when there is a higher chance of spotting tigers. We visited the croc breeding center. We also did the canoe ride on the Rapti River which was so relaxing, we spotted lots of birds and a ghariyal.

We went Here week Ago, after spending 4+ hours in Jungle we hardly able to find 2 small rhinos and some deers, thats it, nothing much we were able to see

Great dense jungle with Sal trees and vast grasslands with grasses more than 10 ft tall. We enjoyed 4 hours jeep safari in the early morning jungle in November. It was cold and misty and we loved the environment. We viewed rhinos, elephants (tamed), crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys, deers . Couldn't see tigers or sloth bear though. It was said that March is the ideal time for bear visibility and tigers are visible to the lucky tourists, which we were not. Loved the jungle ambience. Chill and quiet and mystic. Rs.2200 INR for 4 hours half day. One has to cross Rapti river on boat, walk about 100 metres and then ride the Safari vehicle. We were lucky to see a rhino which came out from the jungle and moved to the other side. We could see it in deep fog but my efforts to photograph it failed due to dense fog. Anyways, seeing is believing. Highly recommended, full day, if permitted.

I recently visited Chitwan National Park, and to be honest, my experience was not very impressive. I have visited several other national parks before, including Jim Corbett National Park, so I had higher expectations. During my visit, the wildlife sightings were quite limited. Most of the animals we saw were deer and peacocks. Although Chitwan is famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, sightings seemed to be relatively rare. For Indian visitors, the entry fee is over NPR 1,000, and the safari charges are additional, which makes the overall experience feel somewhat expensive for what is offered. Overall, I found the experience to be very average. the wildlife viewing did not meet my expectations compared to other national parks I have visited.

Simply amazing experience visiting this UNESCO world heritage site having diverse flora and fauna, diverse range of species ranging from rhino elephant tiger vultures deer chital sambha bear and various species of birds, snake, birds . Simply amazing experience elephant ride tiger safari, boating , simply amazing experience holding tranquility and adventure at the same time.

If you're used to African safari, temper your expectations. It's lush and green, but the vegetation takes away quite a bit of the scenery. Pay attention to the selection of your guide. It makes a significant difference. Consider a boat tour along the river, especially at sunrise/set. It's more impressive and more beautiful than the jeepsafari.

Une belle première expérience pour moi en safari, j’ai eu énormément de chance avec les animaux car j’en ai vu de très beaux et de très près. La faune et la flore est bien préservée et ça se voit qu’ils font des efforts. Toutefois, en ce qui concerne la domestication des éléphants ainsi que le fait de les proposer en tant qu’attraction pour faire un safari à dos d’éléphant, c’est pas top… J’ai fait un peu de canoë sur la rivière, de la marche à pied dans la jungle et bien évidemment le jeep. En toute honnêteté, foncez pour le faire à pied car c’est sûrement l’un des parcs où vous pourrez le faire en toute sécurité ! J’aurais aimé tout faire à pied. En tout cas, j’espère que dans les années à venir, ils prendront plus au sérieux la cause animale, car sinon, dans l’ensemble, c’est un joli parc.
