I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Chumbak — both with the product quality and the complete lack of customer support.
I purchased the Begum Foot Rest (Order CB187682) and the product that arrived looked nothing like what was shown online. The colours were entirely different from the images on the website, and even the size and scale of the print were noticeably off. The product also took unusually long to dispatch, which made me believe it was being made with attention to detail — but the final item did not reflect that at all.
I reached out to customer support immediately with photos, requesting a return and refund. I never received any resolution.
To make matters worse, after using the footrest for only a few days, one of the legs broke. The stapling, materials, and overall finish appear very poor and not at all what I expected from a brand known for design and quality.
What makes this even more disappointing is that Chumbak charges a premium for its products, yet in my experience the quality and after-sales service did not match the price point. For a premium brand, I expected far better craftsmanship, accountability, and responsiveness.
I emailed again with photos and videos showing the damage — still no response.
This entire experience, from inaccurate product representation to poor build quality to unresponsive customer service, has been incredibly discouraging. I hope this review helps future buyers make an informed decision.
