This mosque has a shaking minarets and was built by Ahmedshah (first ruler of Ahmedabad). detailed work on sand stone & beautifully carved

The locality in which this mosque is located is totally unhygienic and narrow with lot of crowd around. Though the mosque is a peaceful place, it was not well maintained. No crowd can be seen there. The people I met there doesn't seem to be friendly. Thus, it doesn't look like a place of tourist.

The stone carving is absolutely amazing. Such fine detail and on such a massive scale. There is a lovely peaceful and friendly atmosphere there. The imam gives brief tours to visiting groups.
