Fraud Investigation Bureau

I visited the Colombo Fraud Investigation Department today regarding my vehicle case, and I have never experienced anything this appalling in my life. The officer at the front desk was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional—treating members of the public with blatant disrespect. This level of behavior is unacceptable for a government institution, especially one that is supposed to serve and protect the public. The lack of basic courtesy, empathy, or professionalism is shocking and frankly embarrassing. I left feeling frustrated, insulted, and completely disrespected. If you value your time, patience, and dignity, avoid this place at all costs. This institution needs an urgent overhaul in staff training and accountability because what I witnessed today is far below any standard expected in Sri Lanka—or anywhere. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

We received a very poor service from the officers. They made us to roam and did not guide properly even they were not willing to file a complaint against a fraud person. I feel sorry for you guys, work better since you get salary from the money that were collected from the normal people. You can be more active, diligent and honest.

This place called “Fraud Investigation Bureau” really the police who’re here was so helpful; I wanna appreciate them who’re on duty.
