Divine Kathmandu Hotel

I would highly recommend Divine Kathmandu Hotel to anyone visiting Thamel. The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. They were also very accommodating in holding our baggage during our trek, which made everything so much easier. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable throughout our stay. Every part of our experience felt easy and enjoyable thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the team. I would absolutely stay here again!

I want to highlight the kindness of the staff. They were all so so cute & kind, helped me when I had some plan changes & made my stay so much better. I felt protected & home, away from my home. Thank you for your kindness. I will be back. The breakfast was of course also amazing and I especially liked the rooms with balcony. So comfy, had amazing sleep and for me personally the best location in Thamel, with really good restaurants, yoga & cafes around the corner.

Perfect location, away from hustle and bustle but only 5 min walk to get there. The rooftop pool is a great addition on a hot day, and the breakfast was a delicious spread. The staff are lovely and go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after.

This lovely hotel was very much needed after our trek. Lovely clean rooms and hot water was perfect. The service was excellent and I cannot fault anyone. Everyone is caring and our comfort was ensured. The breakfast was included and was very yummy. We were grateful for the pool at the end of the day also. Location was very handy for everything. We unfortunately had a factory near our rooms that used a benchsaw all day, however we could muffle the noise with doors closed, we just could not sit our on the balcony. The bar staff were great too! Best Gin and Tonics EVER!

Located at, Thamel..it is the vibrant heart of Kathmandu's tourist scene, a maze of narrow streets packed with trekking gear shops, diverse restaurants, and a high-energy nightlife. At the hotel you get a feel good sensation, always! Friendly staff, good decent menu, and great bfast!!

A family run version of the Ramada Marriott! Absolutely fabulous! So welcoming, friendly, attentive. Super clean. Delicious breakfast. Brilliant location. Seriously couldn’t fault it and amazing value for money. Also ate at the restaurant for room service and pool side service and it was delicious! Great coffee machine too. Rooftop pool gives you the best sunset view! An absolute win of a place to stay - thank you so much.

What can I say? The reviews for this hotel are spot on. The rooms are nice, modern ,and clean, with a lovely rooftop viewing platform, swimming pool, sauna, and a restaurant downstairs. The hotel is located right near the heart of Thannel, but was nice and quiet in the evening.But what really made my stay was the lovely Nepalese staff, who were so friendly and helpful, and always had a smile 😁 They even arranged my onward travel to my next destination. Really good value for the price. I would definitely stay here again!💯👍🏻🇳🇵🙏🏻

My stay at the Divine Kathmandu Hotel was outstanding from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better – perfectly situated to explore the city while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Everything I needed was within easy reach, which made the whole trip incredibly smooth. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single person I interacted with was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can feel that they care about their guests. A special thank you as well to the housekeeping team – they did an amazing job. The room was spotless every single day, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The room itself was very comfortable, well-equipped, and exactly what I hoped for. It felt like a calm retreat after long days exploring Kathmandu. And then there’s the highlight: the rooftop. Absolutely incredible. The view is breathtaking, and the pool makes it even better. Watching the city from up there, especially at sunset, was a real experience and easily one of my favorite moments of the stay. All in all, everything was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Divine Kathmandu Hotel to anyone visiting the city.

My husband and I stayed at the Divine Kathmandu Hotel for three nights, both before and after our trek, and it was truly the perfect choice. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of Kathmandu and just steps away from Durbar Square, the museum, shops, and great restaurants. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even packing us a breakfast box for our early flight. Our driver was also super friendly and professional. A special shout-out to the receptionist team and the owner; they were so caring and helpful when my husband was having a difficult time moving around due to his injury, they truly went above and beyond! Our room was spotless, and a major highlight was the generous breakfast with its delicious variety. Thank you to everyone at Divine Kathmandu Hotel for making us feel so well-regarded. This place was extremely well situated and serene. The owners, staff, and desk staff are wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The roof top pool is a lively attraction, however , I. did not go swimming. It has a lift- elevator!!!!!

Gutes Frühstück und gute Zimmer. Eigentlich auch ein nettes Personal - am Ende hatten wir aber das Gefühl, dass sie uns nicht in der Lobby sitzen haben wollten. Insgesamt aber sehr solide.

Bardzo fajny hotel. Super pokoje, wygodne łóżka, przyzwoite śniadanie, absolutnie miła i pomocna obsługa. Nie było żadnych problemów z zamówieniem wycieczki czy taksówki. Restauracja przy hotelu przyzwoita cenowo i smaczna oraz długo czynna. Hotel położony obok szkoły (było trochę głośno) w dobrej lokalizacji. Trochę śmieszne są łazienki gdzie łączy się funkcja toalety i prysznica. Wifi bez problemu. Polecam.

Schöne, saubere Zimmer, diese werden auf Nachfrage täglich gereinigt und mit Wasserflaschen nachbestückt. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal und das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Lage ist top, man ist in einer ruhigen Seitengasse und etliche Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen gleich um die Ecke.

Great hotel with a rooftop, pool and a sauna. Very clean rooms and helpful, kind staff. Location is very good, close to restaurants and 15 min from the Durbar Square. Breakfast has different warm/cold options and an egg station where a chef prepares eggs the way you like.

I travelled from the UK and stayed at Divine Hotel on 24th Nov 2025. The first impression was a warm welcome from the staff. The hotel is owner operated with Rudra always around to ensure everyone is happy. Yadab's hospitality was especially notable. He helped arrange mountain trekking for me and was always happy to assist with any questions. The room had everything I needed and the location was great too! Some really nice cafes and traditional gift shops just around the corner. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nepal. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! The room was exceptional, with all the top-notch amenities you could ask for. The space in the room was perfect, and the location of the hotel couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Thamel, surrounded by shops and restaurants, making everything easily accessible. What really made my experience special, though, was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything, from booking taxis to offering recommendations for activities. I want to give a special thank you to Rudra, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. His care and attention to detail were outstanding. He helped with everything from room reservations to organizing activities, and he truly made my time in Nepal unforgettable. One of the highlights was when Rudra invited me to a family wedding, giving me the chance to experience Nepali culture in such a personal way. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’ll always be grateful for his kindness. If you’re visiting Nepal, this hotel is the perfect place to stay—great facilities, a prime location, and a team that makes you feel right at home.😍

Sehr schönes Hotel mit extrem netten Personal. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Sauna und der tolle Roomservice. Jedoch war das Badezimmer leider so aufgebaut das das Wasser nach dem duschen kaum abfließen konnte und man musste so den ganzen Tag durch nassen Boden laufen. Zudem war der Pool leider geschlossen (vermutlich da wir im Februar da waren)

Nous avons passé au total 3 nuits à Divine Hôtel au retour de notre trek, les nuits étaient incluses. Hôtel très agréable, douche chaude, literie confortable, buffet avec large choix au petit déjeuner. Personnel très sympathique et professionnel. Possibilité de laisser ses bagages. Très bien situé dans le centre de Thamel. Restaurant en roof top avec large choix de nourriture.

Absolute 3rd class. I stayed here during the Christmas season. One experience that I would like to share is that when I first went to sleep in my room, there was someone who was constantly trying to open the door. I thought I did not latch the door and told them to come later. Now when I went out to checkout some tourist places, I made sure to latch my door and ensured it did not open with my key. Inside the room, I left everything messy. My belongings where here and there, the usual stuff when you book a hotel. I did not inform them to clean my room. When I came back to my room, they had cleaned everything. While I dont have any issues with cleaning the room. I have issues with someone entering the room without my permission.

Divine is an absolute gem In the heart of Thamel! Hotel was in a very convenient location, just down a lane from the busy streets. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were included and delicious, particularly the omelets. We had some snacks and dinner there, which were also delicious. Rooftop pool was a great place to relax and unwind, with a 360 view of the city. Lastly, we cannot say enough about the staff! Rudra was amazing with helping us when our itinerary changed, and all of his staff were so friendly and helpful. We are planning our next trek, and will definitely be planning to stay with them again❤️
