When we were in Udaipur, this place was trending everywhere on the internet and everyone kept telling us, “You have to try the Kachori, Samosa Chaat, and Poha here.” So of course, we had to go. The first time we went in the evening, almost everything was already over. All we could try was the Kachori… but honestly, it was really good. I’ve had better Kachoris in Jaipur, but for Udaipur, this one was definitely among the best. The next morning we went again for breakfast, and that’s when we finally got to try everything properly. Now being a Maharashtrian, I take Poha very seriously. Maharashtra has some of the best Poha, but this one was surprisingly amazing. It was different, super flavorful, and easily matches some of the best Poha I’ve had. We also tried the Samosa Chaat, Lassi and Chai, everything was really good. It’s a super busy place with constant fresh food being made, mostly because everything gets sold out by the end of the day (we literally saw it happen the day before). The location also plays a big role — it’s right next to Jagdish Temple, which is one of the main tourist spots in Udaipur, so it’s always full of both locals and tourists. If you’re visiting Udaipur, this place definitely deserves a spot on your must-try list.
