When we were in Udaipur, this place was trending everywhere on the internet and everyone kept telling us, “You have to try the Kachori, Samosa Chaat, and Poha here.” So of course, we had to go. The first time we went in the evening, almost everything was already over. All we could try was the Kachori… but honestly, it was really good. I’ve had better Kachoris in Jaipur, but for Udaipur, this one was definitely among the best. The next morning we went again for breakfast, and that’s when we finally got to try everything properly. Now being a Maharashtrian, I take Poha very seriously. Maharashtra has some of the best Poha, but this one was surprisingly amazing. It was different, super flavorful, and easily matches some of the best Poha I’ve had. We also tried the Samosa Chaat, Lassi and Chai, everything was really good. It’s a super busy place with constant fresh food being made, mostly because everything gets sold out by the end of the day (we literally saw it happen the day before). The location also plays a big role — it’s right next to Jagdish Temple, which is one of the main tourist spots in Udaipur, so it’s always full of both locals and tourists. If you’re visiting Udaipur, this place definitely deserves a spot on your must-try list.

I recently visited Jagdish Kachori, located right in front of Jagdish Mandir, and it turned out to be one of the best street food experiences in Udaipur. The kachoris here are absolutely outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with rich, flavorful stuffing. The Hing Kachori, in particular, is a must-try. Its unique aroma and bold taste make it stand out and leave a lasting impression. Served hot and fresh, every bite reflects authentic local flavors. The simple street-side setup adds to the charm, giving you a true taste of Udaipur’s food culture. If you’re exploring around Jagdish Mandir, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves traditional Rajasthani snacks. Highly recommended!

You can instantly tell why this place is a go-to spot for both locals and tourists. I stopped by early in the morning for breakfast and the place was absolutely packed. Even with the crowd, the wait time was 100% worth it. I had the Kachori, Poha, and a hot cup of Chai. The kachori was perfectly crisp and flavorful, and the poha was incredibly fresh, light, and hit the spot. Washing it all down with their classic chai was the perfect start to the day. If you are in Udaipur and want an authentic, bustling breakfast experience, do not skip this place. It’s popular for a reason!

A great spot to enjoy street food right in front of Jagdish Temple. I tried their poha with chai and the special kachori, and everything tasted really delicious. The flavors were authentic and satisfying, and the best part—the prices are very affordable. Perfect place for a quick and tasty bite while exploring the city! ✨

Tried the kachori chaat and poha from a small spot opposite Jagdish Temple—both were absolutely delicious! The kachori was crispy and flavorful, and the poha was light and perfectly spiced. Simple place, but definitely worth a quick stop for tasty local food.

We had plain kachori, Dahi kachori, poha and Lassi. All of which tasted delicious. Kachoris had a zing of hing/asafoetida flavour and the masala was well balanced. Lassi was highlight. Creamy and topped with dry fruits enhanced the flavours. Poha was hot and best when eaten hot, light and fluffy.

The most amazing poha I’ve ever eaten in my life! It’s even better than the ones I’ve had in Maharashtra. It’s so simple yet extremely delicious. The boondi they put on top is so fresh and crispy! We also had the samosa and tea which were also really good but the poha is to die for!

While on vacation in Udaipur, I ended up having breakfast here almost every day: poha, samosa chaat and more, all so delicious! The place is right in front of Jagdish Temple, super affordable, and the food is just amazing. The people at the counter are polite and welcoming too. Truly wish I had a spot like this in my own city!

와! 인도 음식 먹은 것 중 가장 맛있었어요. 매콤달콤하고 향신료 가득한 맛. 고수가 떨어져서 아쉬웠지만 내일 또 먹으러 갈래요.

Jagdish Restaurant, conveniently located right in front of the famous Jagdish Temple, is a hidden gem for authentic local breakfast in Udaipur. What truly sets this place apart is not just their delicious food, but their exceptional service - the staff is notably polite and well-behaved, making your dining experience even more pleasant! Their poha is absolutely delightful - perfectly balanced with a sweet and sour flavor profile, topped with crunchy roasted peanuts, fresh onions, and spicy sev bhujia. The combination creates a wonderful texture and taste that keeps you coming back for more. A must-try here is their dahi samosa - it's remarkably similar to the samosa chaat you'd find in North India, and they nail the execution perfectly. The accompanying chutney complements the dish wonderfully. Their chai is also noteworthy, making for the perfect accompaniment to your breakfast. Highlights: - Exceptional, polite service - Courteous staff behavior - Convenient location - Authentic local flavors - Great value for money Must-try items: - Poha - Dahi Samosa - Tea The warm hospitality combined with delicious food makes this place a perfect spot for travelers looking for an authentic local breakfast experience in Udaipur. The staff's friendly demeanor adds a personal touch that makes you want to return again and again!

Best Poha nearby all shops. Kachoris are okay with more hing. Samosas are also nice. Lassi is also good.

The place is one of the famous breakfast spots in old Udaipur city. It’s a small shop with a couple of seatings. I tried samosa and poha here. Samosa was pretty good. The outer part was quite flaky and crispy. I found poha to be decent because I don’t like poha which is slightly sweeter in taste. The prices are also quite economical.

This place serves the best poha, fresh and flavorful. Kachori and samosa are above average, and prices are very reasonable. It’s a small, simple spot but perfect for a quick breakfast. The location is excellent, right opposite Jagdish Temple, making it very convenient for tourists. Friendly staff and quick service make it worth a visit.

Their kachori and poha are really good in taste. It's location is opposite Jagdish temple and area remains crowded most of the time due to traffic. But the taste of kachori with good quantity of filling and flavor of hing stands out. Also tea is good. It's not open at night. I can come back to have it again.
