Kathmandu Organics (K.O.) - Grocery Delivery

Been buying vegetables, fruits, groceries, and meat from Kathmandu Organics for close to 3 years now. Started ordering because I was trying to avoid the usual pesticide-heavy stuff in the market, and surprisingly the quality stayed consistent even after all this time 🌱 I like that they focus on locally produced organic and pesticide-free fruits and vegetables instead of just using “organic” as a marketing word. The vegetables actually feel fresh, not just “fresh-looking” for photos 😅 Same with the meat. You can tell they care about sourcing properly, and the grass fed meat quality has honestly been better than what I usually find elsewhere. Delivery used to be a bit inconsistent when I first started ordering a few years ago, but they’ve improved a lot since then. Orders now usually arrive properly packed, clean, and on time 📦 Not saying every single item is perfect all the time, but compared to most places in Kathmandu, the experience has been solid enough that I keep going back without thinking twice. Hope they don’t lose the quality as they get bigger 🤞 Hard to find stores like this these days.

Been a customer of KO for years. Before I found out about them, I was buying the low quality (and polished, chemical-mixed) products from the vendors in my locality when I could have been ordering the best local products from KO. Plus they have so many categories of foods available! A favorite of mine that I recently discovered is the aromatic Nuwakot Pokhreli rice for just Rs. 120/kg (even cheaper if buying larger bags). As a matter of fact, I have had no luck finding a good aromatic rice for even Rs. 200 anywhere else. I'm definitely very glad to leave a 5-star review for them. I have pretty good experience with Kathmandu Organics. Ordered Local Basmati Rice and the product was as expected. Have been a regular customer now. Keep on going and continue the good work.

So far my experience has been great with Kathmandu Organics. I have ordered local kukhura eggs and cow ghee from them. All of the times the delivery has been timely and the products are rather good. Have had a great experience.

They sold me 500grams of flax seeds for the 1kg price maybe by mistake or not but otherwise they lie about expected ripe times of fruits and whether they are ripe are not in the first place and also lie about restock timings every time without fail, products are decent but they will do anything to get the sale. No integrity whatsoever.

Products are great. I buy different varieties of grocery in Kathmandu organic. Since the product are from organic farm, its little expensive but compared to other organic stores, Kathmandu organic is definitely worth it. I regularly buy products here and would recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Kathmandu Organics' Honey and Ghee, and I must say, these products have completely exceeded my expectations. Both the honey and ghee are nothing short of exceptional, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating.

I wish I could give 0 star. I ordered 7 kg of mangoes from Kathmandu Organics for my parents in Nepal last week, trusting their “farm to table” branding. Unfortunately, it turned out to be nothing but a misleading name. First, the customer service was bad. I had to message them multiple times over three days just to get basic updates about my order. Once the mangoes were finally delivered, my parents were shocked and disgusted. Most of the mangoes were rotten, infested with maggots, and completely inedible. Out of 7 kg, they could barely eat 4 mangoes. Worse, my parents said the mangoes had a chemical smell, and after eating them, they developed boil-like blisters in their mouths which is an extremely alarming experience. I had only ordered from here because SMART KRISHI FRESH (the best actual farm-to-table service in Nepal) was out of mangoes. And I deeply regret not waiting for them to restock. I paid Rs. 990 for what turned out to be pure waste. Please don’t fall for the branding. What they delivered was not just disappointing, it was potentially harmful. I have here attached a picture.

Best place to buy local fresh organic fruits, vegetables, and other food items. On top of that, they deliver on time and at a reasonable cost. I have been their customer for the last 5–6 years.
