I go here regularly for blood work - urghhh. The place is great, I just hate getting stuck all the time ! The parking lot is huge and you may or may not find a decent spot- even all the handicaps and 15 Minute Only full up fast. Once you get inside, it's a very nice place. Let me start with I try not to get people in my photos/ videos - especially at hospitals. So, the images may be short and cut off to avoid people. Now, I have removed some with my app, and a couple folk were accidentally cut in half. So, if you see just a lone foot, or hand, don't worry - it's just my erasing them out 😄 Anyway, the foyer is huge, clean, and cool. ALL the posts of the hospital I've been in have been very clean - as one would expect. Over all my visits, the staff is great. Checking in has some great ladies working there - I'll try to get names next time and edit. The lab techs have all been great, too. As I said, I go often. They are friendly and do a very good job !! No complaints over years of coming here !!

I just delivered my first baby here on Friday after coming to what I thought was just going to be a check up with my high risk doctor. During my ultrasound, we realized my amniotic was low and that I needed to be induced that same day. At first I was terrified because I was only 35 weeks and 2 days, but the staff reassured me that baby and I were in great hands. Then, they wheeled me up to labor and delivery where I was greeted by the kindest nurse and staff. I was obviously panicking and crying but everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comforted and reassured that everything was going to be okay. They let me take a hot shower to collect myself and relax for a few hours before starting my induction. I was induced around 4 PM and the nurses checked on me constantly, monitoring my pain and as well as checking in with me to see how I was feeling mentally. They accommodated me with a birthing ball, assisted me in getting up and unhooked from all my monitors to use the restroom at all hours of the night, and were happy to fulfill any requests I had for them. Around midnight my contractions became just painful enough that I could not sleep through them and my nurse quickly administered some IV pain relief and nausea medication which were like a charm until about 5 am. At that time, I was woken up from slightly more painful contractions and was set to start my pitocin and before I could even hit my call button, my nurse came in the room to let me know she had been monitoring my contractions and preemptively called the anesthesiologist for me (epidural was a part of my birth plan and I requested to have it before starting pitocin, and my nurse not only remembered that but followed through with my request without me having to ask again or remind her). By the time I was fully awake, the anesthesiologist showed up and got started on my epidural. She did an amazing job placing it. It was almost completely painless and worked like a charm! I never even had to press the button to give myself an extra dose. From there I slept until about 10 am between cervical checks and finally around 11 am it was time for me to start pushing! Baby came after only one push that lasted about 7 seconds and was taken to the NICU where she has been receiving EXCELLENT care. Every NICU nurse has been so kind, informative, reassuring, and I can sleep well at night knowing my sweet girl is in good hands. I love having the ability to check on her 24 hours a day and can not accurately express how amazing my labor and delivery, as well as my post parting experience has been. We live about 2 hours away and were accepted to stay in the Ronald McDonald house at no cost until our girl is stable enough to go home. This experience has been nothing short of magical and I would recommend this place to anyone expecting a baby! Thank you so so so much to all of the doctors and nurses who have treated us like family and kept us comfortable through this scary and unexpected birth! And a huge thanks to the NICU nurses who have been caring for our girl around the clock as well. I would give 100 stars if I could and I would love to deliver here again in the future.

Went into preterm labor (water rupture) at 34 weeks. This was not my hospital of choice but since the NICU was there I chose to go. Called ahead and spoke with OB ER about the situation ( preterm, water rupture and 4th child). Once we arrived, was sent to triage, filled out paper work gave my birthing plan which included an epidural. No one seemed to brightest in the room. Birth date wrong on braclet so after the ER came and stuck me and took 5 syringes of blood I had to be stuck again for more blood. Went to labor and delivery. Suffered in pain for hours with contractions every 5 mins. Asked for an epidural and was told I could not get it yet so she gave me some IV pain med that helped none with pain but made me extremly loopy. I literally just prayed because the pain was so bad. After tossing and turning in agony I finally say I need to use the restroom. The nurse checks me and states not much progess and then decides it's time to start pitocin which only made the contractions worse and every 1 to 2 mins apart. Within minutes after that and more agony I screamed I had to push. No dr in the room, no nicu, no nursery and a preterm baby delivered on my bed. It was a very humilating experience. Then once he was here yet again everyone seemed to be confused on what to do. Nursery nurses laughed when they were asked his apgar score and giggled "I guess 8 or 9" and then guess what baby has spent weeks in the nicu!! I regret every going there that night. After delivery which happed around 620 that morning, couldn't see the baby, I sat in the delivery room all day until after 11pm with no postpartum care. Once we finally got a room and I'm pure exhausted and extremely upset the postpartum nurse wants to go through all the things that should be done post baby abd I literally told her I've sat in the delivery room all day and no one cared then about any of that stuff. I don't blame women for not wanting babies. So much more I could say.

Had to take my 4-year-old daughter to the ER Christmas morning and I was so nervous she wouldn’t get the proper care because no one likes working on the holidays… but when I tell you every doctor and nurse I spoke with was so nice, so attentive, and gave my baby everything she needed and more to feel better! My daughter is doing so much better now and we even made it home early enough for her to open her presents. Thank you for all your efforts! It truly was appreciated, God bless you all!!🎄🎁💗

My son got a skin abrasion that we assumed just needed to be cleaned up and some dermabond placed over the cut. We took him to quick care where the Dr made some comment about “Happy Holidays to me” when we went into the room because we had our crying child and there was another crying child in the next room. He did not even attempt to treat my child. He just looked at it and said we needed to go the the ER for stitches. Is quick care facility not the whole point of minor things like stitches? We took our son to the ER where we did not even see a Dr. the PA came in and cleaned up the spot and put some dermabond on it. This did not require a ER visit to take away from people with actual emergency like the gunshot victim who arrived to the ER the same time as us. Not only do I have a ER bill that they will not remove when I should just of had to pay a quick care visit. So don’t go to Willis Knighton.

Dr. Mark Nikbakht is by far the worst care provider I have ever experienced!! Tonight has been one of the scariest nights as a parent and the way that doctor treated me and my son I will not have. If you do not have the heart for healthcare don’t be in it!!!! Nurse Riley was FANTASIC. He’s the only reason why i’m giving stars.

Thought initial visit was good, but now I’m having all these stupid problems regarding the prescription they gave me and the front receptionist lady was rude and had an awful attitude. Nobody employed there thought to get my medical insurance information, and they wouldn’t put it in the system because I had already been discharged. So now they’re sending me a bill as if I had no insurance for ME to clean up THEIR mess. Ridiculous. Every WK in caddo parish sucks.

I typically dread speaking with the billing department at any medical facility. However, I just got off the phone with Teri at WK South, and I have never experienced such incredible customer service. Terry was extremely helpful, professional, and made the entire process seamless.

The WORST care a pregnant woman can get in town. This ER not once, but TWICE gave my wife a wrong prescription that only made her emergency worse. Prescribed something that is an ORAL use to be used as a pessary. Only made my wife scream and thrash in pain, made it impossible for my wife to sit anywhere, and made using the bathroom agonizing. Called to express what was going on after FOLLOWING THE DOCTORS INSTRUCTIONS, only to be told on the phone that I could, and I'm quoting this word for word, "find another ER"

By far the worst administration I've ever seen at a hospital. Was told by a NICU RN that I can not receive any supporting documentation or Dr. excuse even in the event of an emergency until day shift arrives at 7 or 8am. I'm currently at the hospital at 3AM.

After 4 hours we are still waiting in the emergency room. It was almost empty when we came in and now it is full with everyone waiting to be seen. Have also seen several walk out because they are tired of the wait.

I had an appointment for a MRI on Saturday. Crystal Collins conducted my MRI and she was outstanding. Crystal restored my faith in the medical staff. She was so engaging, professional and explained every step of the process. She was also empathetic and understanding; she saw I was struggling to sit up because of pain and she helped me up. Not to mention she had such good energy. She is a keeper and you should appreciate her as I do.

This hospital has gotten so bad. My mother has horrible health issues one being bad memory problems. She didn't even remember what she went to the hospital for a few mins after being there. I am her power of attorney and they are supposed to talk to me. Instead they just talk to her as if she is perfectly fine and never once contact me. Did not acknowledge me when I was in the room just talk to her not listen to my questions. She had 1 nurse that talked to me but only when I was in her hospital room. I will never let my mother go back to this hospital again.

***TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE, MEDICALLY NEGLIGENT FACILITY NEEDLESSLY PUT OUR CHILD'S LIFE IN DANGER*** Posting mostly about Labor & Delivery at WK South. They let my significant other have our baby in the toilet after we were completely admitted into the hospital. They put her in an observation room (after she was admitted with a ruptured amniotic sac). They let her go through labor for OVER 6 HOURS while insisting that she was not in labor. No epidural was offered. Doctor was told by nursing staff that she was not in labor. She was clearly in extreme pain, and the idiotic nurses kept looking at the monitor, which was either malfunctioning or incorrectly placed, and completely ignored her very clear symptoms of being in active labor. They let her get up and go to the toilet while we're both insisting that the baby is coming. At one point one of their nurses raised her voice and exclaimed "WELL, WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO ABOUT IT?!" in reference to the pain while she was on the toilet. Our nurses disappeared during a shift change with her still on the toilet and crying her eyes out. Baby was born into the toilet, NONE of the necessary implements for delivery of a baby. Our baby had to be treated for sepsis because of how it was born. Spent 11 days in the Newborn ICU. The NICU nurses were great, though. Their charge nurse Kim was a complete and total hero. She showed up after baby was born, and started ordering all the completely shocked nurses in the observation room to get what was needed. They were shocked because the room was never meant to be used as a delivery room, and there was nothing in the room that was needed, including a delivery bed. My problem was never with their NICU. But Labor and Delivery at WK South is guilty of medical negligence, and it was a completely and totally horrific experience. She had a completely natural birth and it was the worst pain she's ever experienced. Epidural was in her birthing plan. I didn't get to cut the cord, and they didn't seem to care at all. Nursing staff didn't even call her doctor until after baby was born. Tried to resolve it, and they just seem to want to pretend like everything is fine and they did nothing wrong. If you have any other option of place to have your baby, then you should seriously consider having it elsewhere. This was well below a satisfactory standard of care, and our baby could've died. I have pictures to prove this, but I can't post them here for obvious reasons.

I would never go here ever again. Some doctor named Patal tried to give me 2 liters of fluid when I'm a dialysis patient. I also was crying cramping really bad for over 2 hours. All they did was shut the door and ignored me. That doctor Patal didn't even take but 5 seconds to talk to me. I will definitely be calling the state medical board. Someone needs to look into this hospital.

Willis Knighton south has a racist emergency room I was just in there for over 2 hours I just watched 10 white patients go in before me that came in after me the white patient went in before black older woman and a black older couple they will also sitting there for over 2 hours they said they didn't have room back there between white patience with him first they came in after all of us my blood sugar 400 and I'm sitting at the emergency room waiting area still try not to go to a diabetic seizure. I think it's time to get an attorney and get a lawsuit for racial discrimination time for them treat the black community right

My mom had surgery this morning and it was way faster than we thought it would have taken. The nurses in day surgery were the BEST! They were so sweet to us. The staff helped me navigate through the facility anytime I probably looked like I needed help lol. Dr. Black has been the absolute best and super sweet to my mom also. Everyone was very informative and professional. Great job! And thank you guys for all that you do! ♥️

Worst hospital ever. Gave birth there 3 years ago and I'm still traumatized. First the epidural was messed up and it took them 3 days to give me an epidural patch. In the Week that I was there I was not given one single meal, my sheets were never changed, I was on bloody sheets for a week and had to put my own bed pads down, my room never cleaned, never brought anything to drink and had to take my meds with the water from my melted ice. On the 3rd day I got an epidural blood patch and was told it would take 30 minutes, they kept me for 3 HOURS from my NEWBORN who was breastfeeding and was also cluster feeding at that time! They treated me so bad and I'm still traumatized! Once I was being released they scheduled my daughters one week check up for the very next day at 8a.m!!! I cried for days after I got home for the way I was treated in my most vulnerable time. I went through a very hard time as a new mother because of the way they treated me. One nurse was nice to me and that was it. I was kept from leaving the room and walking around after giving birth, thankfully that nurse brought massage pads for my legs so I wouldn't get Clots. After a couple months I was able to call and complain, I was told if I went public with my story that they would sue me. Well here I am now 3 years later and still traumatized by what happened to me but not scared to share what happened to me. If you can go somewhere else then go, this hospital is the absolute worst. I'll never forget or forgive what they did to me!
