Cleveland Clinic Main Campus

My father recently had a stroke and was placed in Nuero ICU. The whole team of doctors and nurses aides and everyone, were amazing! Dr. Geiger from Oncology was also so special to my father and her care was impeccable! I’d like to call out a few that made my father’s last days as good as could be. First, Jeffrey, his RN (went to Xavier and grew up in San Diego). This young man was just amazing. His commitment to care was beyond and the way he dealt with our family was so gracious! I’m so glad my father was in his care! Also Dr. Hassit was very good to us. And Nancy, in custodial on the floor, she is such a beautiful woman inside and out! Her kindness and thoughtfulness helped so much in such a hard time!! Thank you to all who helped my father in his last days! I will be forever grateful and thankful he was with that ward! The whole ward was truly amazing and made the end so much easier! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

10 Stars! I wish I could rate this review higher. Our experience with the clinic has been fabulous. The pre-intake staff helped advocate to get our family member accepted as a patient. They helped convince the less experienced staff at our local hospital to make the timely transfer. Our family member got the care needed and the health management throughout the stay was excellent - Doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, and everyone. Highly recommend starting here or transferring here.

There is something wrong with the discharge process at this hospital. My husband has terminal cancer. I'm only going review on this one topic. My husband has had multiple stays and the discharge for each is unrealistic, uncoordinated, and cruel. Apparently service ends when you sign the discharge papers. For my husband's last stay of 20+ days, the discharge time changed 3+ times. Mind you, the nurses know it is so bad, they worn you-the transport is always 1-2 hrs late. Sounds like a problem to me. We've had this happen multiple times over multiple years. On this particular discharge they "allowed" my husband to be transported home to pass imminently...could be minutes,hours no way to know for sure. But my husband chose to die at home with dignity. At 1pm they approved him to leave Said transport would be at 5pm. No, 6:30, no 7:00. It's 8:15 and the hospital has zero communication with transport. By the time they get here, my husband could pass. This is inhumane and cruel.

National Consultant Program Do not waste your time or money. Despite sending all of the medical history reports and test results, I was scheduled with a repeat of the exact same specialists only to determine the exact same results of my previous visits. After the results came in (minus one test that they could not get scheduled the day after my visit and I live 8 hours away), I was told everything looked good and that was it. I came there expecting that they would use my past medical history/tests/evaluations and then build a path forward from there, not repeat what I already had done. This was an absolute waste of money. My cardiologist suggested I got to Mayo. I was accepted there but chose CC instead because it is closer to home. I wasted three days off work, travel expenses, and copays for absolutely nothing. I could have spent that money with Mayo or even Vanderbilt and gotten some answers. I reached out to the ombsbudman's office with my compliants. They told me to use their secure email and send me a link. I sent multiple emails that were never answered over a couple month span. When I finally called instead of using their portal, I was told to send it via regular email. I sent many and never got responses. Multiple email over months. Finally, when I called again (at least four more times), I could never get a call back from the 'representative' who had my case. When I finally did, she was extremely rude. This healthcare organization does not have the patient's interest at heart. Or they did not have mine, anyway. I do not recommend utilizing this program.

Absolutely massive hospital! They have care for everything. I am so glad there are many maps and directions throughout this hospital because it would be so easy to get lost if not. The doctors and nurses are super helpful and they seem to really care about what you have to say and how you feel. The wait for bloodwork was super quick, about 3 minutes total. Unfortunately I need to come back from another state in a couple weeks for more tests because of how booked they are that is the only downside of the whole Clinic but overall. They found that I have a rare condition that my local hospital should have found with all the tests they ran, but somehow they didn't. It took the Cleveland Clinic ONE TEST, JUST ONE to diagnose and find my problem. Now I am able to get surgery to help. I am so thankful for the doctors and nurses at this clinic. It has been a fantastic experience going here and I am so glad I walked away with answers because of them. 11/0 experience so far at the Cleveland Clinic! If you need care, I recommend them!

Back in 2022/2023 I was referred to Dr. Hopkins due to my unborn daughter being diagnosed with a rare condition. When meeting with Dr. Hopkins throughout my pregnancy he always greeted with a smile, answered all questions I had, and went out of his way to ensure I knew the process of absolutely everything my daughter would have to go through once she was born. Fast forward to now, he continues to always great my daughter and I with positivity, smiles and warmth! We continue to follow-up with him even though my driving distance is almost 3 hours long (1-way) if that doesn’t show how much of an amazing surgeon and doctor he is then I don’t know what would! My daughter and I can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done for her and getting her to where she is now!

It was easy and professional scheduling a Pulmonologist appointment here. When I walked in there was a musical concerto. A flute was playing Camelot! I thought I was back in 1964. I went to the Gift Store off the Main Lobby. I bought a CC Blanket. Then I went to the Main Dining area. It has an international flair. Lots of exciting cuisines to select from. Everything was fresh and clean. They clean the table promptly as soon as one guest leaves. There are many greeters. They are friendly and personal. Everyone is willing to help with direction and location issues. I parked in Lot 1. It was in close proximity to Everything. They go above and beyond my expectations. Nothing to complain about here. Each desk I have been to has 2-3 receptionists to process my visit. Beautiful care here. Stellar

This is one the best medical facilities in the world. My parents loved the Clinic and I have doctored there for about 60 years. My wife is currently doctoring there. You are treated well by everyone there. If an employee perceives that you may be lost in this huge institution an employee including the doctors themselves will direct you or guide you to your destination with a smile. They have their own sworn police department so you feel safe anytime you visit their campus. Lots of gorgeous outdoor spaces and huge hallways inside so it feels like a mall with shops, restaurants and other facilities. Very efficient scheduling. In one 7 hour day my wife had three diagnostic tests and saw four doctors. Check out the menu if you are a patient. Not your ordinary hospital food. How about that tunnel leading from the parking garage to the Miller building.

Had blood drawn I believe her name was heather it was around 12:20 on 4/02/2026. This was at the Fairview hospital. She was very pleasant. I have a hard time getting it done usually but she was able to find it right away and i didn’t even feel it. One of the best she was amazing my last name isn’t my records. But just want to say this was by far the best nurses who was able to do this and I appreciate it. 10 Stars! Hopefully I have her name right as I did call and leave a message as I’ve had some bad experiences lately here but she made my day knowing if I ever have to get it done again I definitely want to go to her and I recommended her to everyone especially people who have hard times of them trying to get bloodwork 😁

Cleveland Clinic main is so organized and their staff are always so helpful! I do wish there was a little bit more signage for direction but then again it is a huge hospital so I understand they cannot do that for every single thing. When I get labs and X-rays done there is minimal wait time and done promptly. All these other hospital systems sure could take some advice from Cleveland Clinic! Please stay excellent!!!

While we LOVE the Pediatric Epileptology department, the rest of the Cleveland Clinic has seriously gone down hill as fast as a sled on an icy hill. It's hard to get a response from a Mychart message or a phone call from the Sleep department. The labs are a wreck, not only not claiming to have not received faxed orders from outside physicians (when it was previously checked that the orders were present) but also canceling orders that were required by doctors when a person refused to pay double lab fees for some tests that day and return for others another day. I waited more than six months for CPAP supplies from the Cleveland Clinic and my doctor finally had to order them from an outside agency. I was hooked up within 3 days! The Cleveland Clinic claims to provide "World Class Care." My mom says it's "Third World Care." You decide.

After nearly daily treatments, multiple procedures, across 3 locations at Cleveland clinic both main campus and a satellite location over 7 months, with the final procedure having been over 3 hours late (scheduled procedure), I can confidently say do not fall for the media narrative that Cleveland Clinic is the standard for healthcare in the country. They are as unorganized, late, and mismanaged as just about any other major healthcare entity. Their doctors and nurses are certainly doing their best but this was a noticeable drop off in quality of care when compared to an elite healthcare entity we had previous treatment at.

Had a face/neck lift Aug 7, 2024 by Doctor Zins. Ive had nothing but problems from the start. A feeling of being strangled from the inside out. Swollen submandibular gland on one side. Head pain in base of skull. Doctor Zins was the 2nd plastic surgeon I saw at Cleveland clinic. He asked why I came to him and I said I didnt want to go with other surgeon bc of how long he estimated the time for surgery. I let Zins know I DEFINITELY wanted surgery at main campus. He said he could do my surgery in less time than Doc Isakov could and at main campus. About a week before surgery I looked online at my upcoming appt and discovered I was moved from main campus to Beachwood facility. I was not happy bc we had made reservations at hotel in main campus and I clearly said that was where I wanted it to be bc Isakov told me there's no better place to have surgery. I let the lady who works for Zins know I was not happy being moved and next thing I knew Zins called me and told me id be safer at Beachwood. His fellow Pierce told me he was going to be doing my surgery right before they wheeled me into O.R. zins later told me when I told him about this that he had no idea why Pierce would say that. So I guess Pierce is a liar? I have not had one night of good sleep in over a yr and a half. This was THE biggest regret of my life . I went to ombudsman who said they would negotiate getting my money bk or a revision. I told her no way would I let Zins operate on me again. He offered to inject botox into my neck bands and to shave down submandibular glands ...BUT he told me they bleed a lot and have a high morbidity rate. NO THANK YOU! My appt where tubes were removed one was stuck and he was not happy and yanked it out so hard that I passed out. He said the swollen gland isn't from the surgery. Funny that it showed up a month or 2 after surgery. Cleveland clinic sent me to other doctors and no one found anything different. I had a CT scan and it was okay. Hoped to get one with contrast or an MRI but no one would order it for me. I feel like some of the doctors wanted to put a bandaid on my problems without first finding out what they were. So here I am 20 months post surgery STILL unable to sleep, STILL feeling like Im strangling and STILL getting head pains. Ombudsman told me she was sorry that negotiation didnt go as she hoped. I think they should allow the patient filing the complaint to sit in negotiations too. I was made to feel like I do not matter. That I do not count. I left Cleveland clinic bc of this. While im losing sleep Zins life goes on as usual. The man ruined my life! Pics are today...20 months post op.

Unfortunately, the facility is not a 5 star and it could be if they would terminate the kitchen or create an affective system. Today The patients rely on the kitchen food because most are not mobile due to ailments. The kitchen staff knows this therefore they don’t care in quality food service skills and could care less about serving your food. I had spine surgery and doing physical therapy so I can be mobile. On 1/02/2026 I ordered a ceaser salad so I could eat after therapy. What I recieved my food tray, they had given me the dressing and the chix and no ceaser salad. I finally got my salad so I didn’t complain. Now it’s dinner time and I ordered turkey mash potatoes w/ chix gravy. Turkey and potatoes are super dry but I felt that I could it down with gravy. Guess what! They didn’t give me gravy. Mind you, I received food at 5:45 so I called RS and there was no response. I continue to call for 15 minutes and we came frustrated so decided to get my little walker and walk to the front desk. They tried to contact the kitchen and nobody would answer. Then they tried to contact the supervisor or a manager and told him that they were some people that didn’t receive any items because there was another lady there that didn’t receive her meatloaf dinner at all. The room service manager Said that they will bring the meatloaf dinner to the other clients and my gravy.. It was 7 o’clock and I still didn’t receive my gravy and this food is hard to swallow without that gravy. I called the front desk again and they were trying to contact the manager and they were no longer answering. In fact, the voice message stated that they were closed for the evening. So guess what, I didn’t get to have dinner and I’m diebetic. Shame on you Cleveland Clinic kitchen / room service staff. Somebody need to restructure the process and clean house. Don’t go to this facility!!!!! If you do, fill your cooler and take it to your room so you know you will have food to eat.

We withing is great when having to go to the main clinic for procedures. Valet parking around the circle and easy access to every location in the building. Excellent staff and super nice and very caring. Excellent place to be take care of!!!

I would put a zero if i could but it doesn't give me those options i was sent here from columbus to get fixed from an operation tgat when extremely bad when i got here on the 4th of December everyone was kind and friday the 5th when i went into surgery everything was good then when i got to the floor for admission H50 is when everything started going bad most of the nursing staff here are heartless, incompashionate, and just down right rude. The first night i dont remember because i was on alot of meds but had to beg the staff for my meds and to help me thank god my daughter stayed the night im my room because i had no one help me and i dont understand why they say this #2 nation when they allow there staff to treat there patients like animals and if it wasnt me being for me being cute from groin all the way to the top of my ribs i would have left AMA its that bad and yesterday i started to go down hill and i haven't been able to keep anything down since 5 yesterday. Then all the sudden last night around 9 i started throwing up blood and everything i tried to eat or ingest meaning medications. All my medicine is orally and i have asked them multiple times to do iv or shot because i keep throwing up everything i take is by mouth. so since 5 yesterday i have had no pain control and it hurts bad and they dont care i just dont know what to say anymore but even animals are treated better then they are treating me

Jessica Sankovic, Kashley, and Sharese were so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend all 3 of them. I'm so glad that I'm part of this amazing team. Jessica Sankovic is absolutely incredible and professional. Kashley helped me and explained each step of the procedure during the process. She also had a great bedside manner. Sharese and Jessica also had a great bedside manner. I really appreciate that I had expectional care. I'm glad that I got the information to help me move forward.

Received an email that I MUST prepay for my mammogram $532. What has changed that you are not running it through insurance FIRST? Instead make the customer prepay for an annual exam. Thank goodness I am switching to doctors outside this network. It takes forever to see a doctor at the Clinic and then when you see them you might get 10 minutes. Moving to a concierge provider is a game changer.

they took good care of me here during my procedure and my overnight stay. made sure i was comfortable and got enough food to eat. surgery went great and i've ran into no problems recovery wise so far. highly recommend

Just to sit in a room to see doctor for 20 minutes they charged $1300 dollars just for the room. That doesn’t even include the Dr’s bill for seeing me. How is that even possible. No wonder why people can’t afford to be sick. Got to find a Dr not affiliated with Cleavland Clinic. 0 stars for cost. Dr was ok.
