Coś niesamowitego. Sztuka inżynierii. Długość mostu oraz wysokość jego przęseł w najwyższych miejscach robi wielkie wrażenie. Do tego filary mostu zaprojektowane jak lodołamacze. Ciekawostką jest to, że za przejazd płaci się tylko opuszczając wyspę.

Iconic bridge spanning the waters between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island! While the drive is a little nerve-wracking if you think about it too much, it goes relatively quickly. I feel so Canadian when driving across this bridge!

Amazing bridge with the length about 12 kms. to PEI. But I feel the photos that take from the light house will be more beautiful than going on the bridge.

It was an unbelievable experience to walk over the bridge and to see how brilliant the engineers and the workers build this marvel. The veiw from the bridge is spectacular!

Très beau pont, belle route, facile d’accès, je recommande arrêter au point d’observation adjacent au pont pour prendre des photos. Le péage est au retour. Ça vaut le détour.

As bridges go, pretty nice. Evidently the longest bridge over icy water in the world. Long enough to get the job done. Atchafalaya basin bridge is so long it gets boring and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge actually has a tunnel, so it's not purely over water. It's call them cheaters but *fun fact* they're are no standard ways to measure bridges. Free to go on to island. Depending on your axles you'll pay $20+ toll to exit. Fair.

so cool to finally cross this amazing engineering marvel. It is the longest bridge in the world that crosses ice-covered water. A very unique 13km drive.

It's a beautiful drive across whether it's day or night !! The sunset is extremely beautiful from the bridge , I had the opportunity to visit the base of the bridge on my ATV , all I can say is look at the pictures!! All from the PEI side of the bridge!!

Heads up it costs $50 to cross and return to New Brunswick 😞

2025.06.24前往愛德華王子島，最令人驚嘆的就是通往島嶼的「聯邦大橋（Confederation Bridge）」。這座全長12.9公里的大橋是世界上橫跨冰水域最長的大橋，壯觀無比。大橋為了抵禦每年長達五個月的冰層侵襲，特別設計了圓錐形「冰盾」，可將漂浮冰塊頂起使其自然斷裂，保護橋體不受損壞，工程技術讓人讚嘆。

Construction incroyable. Merci Monsieur Carney d’avoir réduit les tarifs pour sortir de l’île. Beaucoup de boutiques et restaurants. Vous devez aller au Marina Park pour avoir de bonnes photos du pont.

Pretty convenient! The last time I was in PEI, I had to take the ferry from Cape Tormentine to Borden. While the ferry ride was relaxing, I don't doubt it took at least 5 times longer than the drive across the bridge. My only complaint is the cost. There should be some sort of system that accounts for drivers who crossed into PEI on the Wood Islands ferry. If you take only the bridge or only the ferry, you only pay once but using both methods in one trip to and from and you pay for both. Something to consider.

Beautiful bridge first time going to Prince Edward Island

It's an awe inspiring bridge that really is an amazing piece of engineering. I always enjoy the drive and just have to stop to take it all in. I feel the tolls are too high to promote tourism.

The Confederation Bridge is definitely quite the sight. Standing at 12.9 km, this is the longest bridge in Canada and arguably one of the most scenic as well. I’ve taken both the ferry and the bridge to P.E.I and this is so much more scenic and beautiful. Even on a weekend and with construction on the bridge, it wasn’t that busy at all. Even when traffic got heavy, the views made it worth it. The only reason I docked a star off this review is because of the toll you have to pay on the way out of the island. You pay a $50 toll for a car which is kind of insane. For visitors and tourists it may not be so bad for a one time thing, but from what I understand, even residents of P.E.I have to pay the same $50 toll every time they leave which seems very unfair. All in all, it’s a very scenic way of getting to P.E.I and is a nice experience. Not bad for a once in a lifetime kinda of thing.

First time on the Island PEI ! Definitely recommend it ! The beaches are beautiful, I would recommend going to the provincial park... Cows Ice-cream store ! We went to Fin Folk restaurant, AMAZING 👏 fresh sea food platter and smash burgers ! The view is amazing.. the tide was going out at the time we were there! Saw a crab trying to burrow in the wet sand !
