Cosy Koala Hostel

Koala hostel is the coziest hostel in Tbilisi, I was staying at female dorm with 4 persons. It was comfortable and clean room. The kitchen so perfect, you can make your own meals there. The common area was clean easily to socialize with other guests. Jason the owner was so friendly. The manager, Reagen was so helpful and caring. Other staffs May and Tessa they have good souls. Feels like home and sleep like koala❤️

I had such a lovely stay here. The people truly make this place special. May, Regan and Jason made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived, they’re incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely care about their guests. It honestly felt like a home away from home. I’d highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Georgia!

Im a solo traveler from the Philippines and I had an amazing stay at Cosy Koala. 1. The location is perfect. The hostel is right in the middle of the popular spots so you can walk to attractions like the Old Town, Mother of Georgia statue, etc... 2. So many restaurants and some convenience stores nearby. Theres always a place to buy food if you get hungry in the middle of the night. 3. Beds are very comfortable. I slept so well in the female dorm room. 4. Friendly staff. Thanks to Raegan and Meg for their warm hospitality🤍 Highly recommend this hostel if youre staying in Tbilisi

무조건 강추입니다 이렇게 깨끗하고 신뢰있는 호스텔을 본적이 없음 This hostel is an absolute gem—the cleanest and most hygiene-conscious place I’ve ever stayed at! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and they even briefed guests on evening manners so everyone could sleep peacefully. What truly blew me away was their outstanding service: Due to my own mistake, I left my card and phone behind at the hostel. Even though the items weren’t easy to identify, the staff meticulously checked the guest registry and every tag to track them down, then contacted me to return them. I was able to recover everything thanks to their incredible effort—I’m so grateful! I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a caring spot. It’s unforgettable! If you’re traveling here, you MUST stay—hands down the best hostel experience of my life. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Cozy Koala. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole place is clean, comfortable, and well looked after. It has a relaxed, homey vibe that makes it easy to meet people but also unwind when you want. Overall, a cozy and enjoyable hostel !🫶🏽

I had a very good time at cozy koala ! The place if really nicely situated into the city and the people taking care of it make the all vibe of it ! It’s clean and tidy. Don’t come here for a party hostel it is not. Thanks May, Regan and Luke for the stay, I loved it !

8인 혼성(1박), 6인 혼성(약 일주일) 도미토리 모두 이용했습니다. cosy koala 이름답게 정말 편안하면서도 활기찬 곳입니다. 주방, 객실, 화장실 모두 청결합니다. 로스텔 주인뿐만 아니라 자원봉사자들도 청결을 유지하려고 노력합니다. 6인방 첫날엔 좀 추웠지만 다음 날 히터 틀어달라고 요청하니 틀어줬습니다. 덕분에 따뜻하게 지낼 수 있었습니다. 침대 아래 사물함은 45L 배낭과 각종 짐들 다 넣을 수 있을만큼 컸고 깨끗했습니다. 8인방 솔직히 괘 좁아서 추천하지 않습니다. 잠만 잘거라면 8인도 괜찮아요. 돈 조금 더 내더라도 6인으로 가는 것을 추천합니다. 화장실 총 두 곳이용할 수 있는데, 오전 10~11시 굉장히 붐빕니다. 본인이 오래 씻는 편이다(10분 이상이다) 싶으면 오전 8시👍, 오후, 저녁에 편하게 화장실 사용하세요. It was really happy to celebrate Christmas with you guys🫶 And thanks for checking if I wanted to extend my stay. I actually needed to. I enjoyed my time here. I would definitely stay again! Thanks mate😁 (BTW, Christmas in Georgia is on January 7th, but we celebrated it on December 25th😂😂)

You can stop looking for a great place to stay in Tbilisi- you found it. Really- this place has location, location, location + perfect beds. The owner researched the beds for months and I am telling you they are the best beds I’ve stayed in across over 100 hostels- and better than most hotels! As far as all the other important aspects- a locker cube to lock up your stuff, outlet by your bed to charge your stuff + a light, functional bathrooms, a kitchen to cook in and store food (2 refrigerators), and a living room to connect with other travels / do work- this place has everything you need. And there is even a 24 hr Spar (tiny convenient store) literally meters from the hostel. Everyone involved in running the facility and communicating over Whatsapp are fantastic, too! Really, the only question to ask is how long can you stay…. (I’m thinking I need to just go back and move in!)

A hostel with a warm, friendly vibe. All the guests hang out and get to know each other in the common room. It’s so much fun! The kitchen and bathrooms are super clean, and the beds and private rooms are really comfortable.

Tout était parfait, le lit et la chambre très confortables avec beaucoup d'espace de rangement. Prise électrique et lumière disponibles dans chaque lit. L'espace commun était propice aux rencontres. Par dessus tout, Jason et Rose sont adorables et nous font nous sentir comme à la maison. L'emplacement est aussi top.

Cosy Koala Hostel is super cozy, clean, and centrally located near Old Town. The beds are comfortable, the staff are friendly(special mention to Luke), and the vibe is relaxed and peaceful. Great place to stay in Tbilisi.

Difficile de trouver mieux à ce prix, le personnel est très gentil et nettoie très souvent, l'emplacement est top, proche des principales attractions. Le seul petit point négatif, les salles de bains / toilettes sont constament mouillées et ne sèchent jamais

Sehr schönes Hostel. Der Gastgeber gibt sich außerordentlich viel Mühe. Wenn man Fragen hat ist Brendon immer mit Herz und Seele da. Es ist super gepflegt. Die Betten sind auch sehr gemütlich. Ich kann das Hostel wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Selten so viel Gastfreundschaft erlebt wie in dem Hostel. Vielen lieben Dank dafür.

The day before my trip to Tbilisi, they messaged me on WhatsApp and cancelled my reservation. Even though I had booked two months in advance, they said I couldn't stay in a double room because I was traveling alone. They cancelled it just one day before my trip. They were completely unhelpful; if I hadn't been able to find a hotel, I would have been homeless because of them.

I have stayed this hostel for 3 nights! And I can tell this is the best hostel I have seen so far!! Very clean very cosy ,nice, clean and soft bed, as for me it’s important to get well rest . And I can tell manager of this hotel Brendon one of the most amazing person I have met , very friendly , kind, and wonderful person , we became good friends, always caring and helping , advising , and answering for any questions you have, very funny and nice guy !! 👍 I have arrived 3 am morning he was waiting for me that early and arranged bed to feel me comfortable!! I really appreciate for this hospitality, I recommend to stay this hostel, and will come back and stay here again and again👍 super hostel , super staff , super service ❤️

What a great hostel!!!! It is one of the best hostels that i have ever stayed in. The hostel is very cozy indeed! I have stayed here a week already and I love it. The beds and mattresses are the best. The sheets and duvet just like home (top quality). The location is superb! The hostel is one of the cleanest hostels that I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is well equipped and awesome. The australian owner Jason and manager Brendon are fantastic. They are super friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend the Cozy Koala to everyone. Stay here to see what a hostel should be. The Cozy Koala sets high standards that are hard to replicate. You will not regret staying here.

This was my first hostel ever. I would love to recommend this hotel to everybody visiting Tbilisi. Walkable 7-10mins to all the tourist spots in old town. Brendon and Jason are very kind host, and they are very friendly and helpful. My room was very comfy to sleep and clean. Bathroom is also clean. Quiet place with nice kitchen where you can cook breakfast with complete utensils and living room where you can chill and the place is really cozy. And also washing machine with detergent provided if you wanna do laundry. Feels home to stay in this hostel. I would love to stay here again if I come back. The rent is not that expensive.
