Rashed alsumaiti was the one who accomodate us. He is very nice, accomodating from the beginning until our breakfast ends. He treat us as if we are VIP. He shows strong work ethic and positibe attitude.

I stayed at this hotel in Kuwait for more than 180 days during my office project, and it truly felt like a second home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always ready to support with anything I needed. The location was convenient for daily travel, and the overall environment was peaceful. I really appreciate the service and comfort I received here. A good place for a long or short stay.

The hotel is wonderful, and the service from the staff is more than excellent. The staff are friendly to everyone. The hotel is close to all activities and tourist attractions. The rooms are clean, and it has a large pool and a fantastic jacuzzi.

All in all just perfect for a business trip with a better oiled machine than any of the easily twenty different 5* hotels I stayed in the entire GCC so far. Ok, it's only a 4 star hotel with the charm of the 90ies - like Kuwait in general (and I liked it!). Rooms are hence a bit outdated but very clean and well maintained. Breakfast of decent quality. A nice, large rooftop pool with refreshing and clean water - just perfect after a hot day. Quick check-in and -out. High-quality laundry service. Complimentary airport transport (with Wifi in the car). Central location. But what I loved most was the exceptionally authentic and friendly service (Raj from Reception and Sanjay from Healthclub deserve a special mention).

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here! The ambience was calm, clean, and beautifully set up. The food exceeded our expectations, and the hygiene was top-notch. The staff, manager, and operations manager went out of their way to accommodate our requests—even preparing special vegetarian options for a friend. Truly excellent service and hospitality. Definitely our new go-to place, and highly recommended to family and friends!

Stayed at Courtyard Marriott in Kuwait and had a mixed experience. The location is excellent and the staff were genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and tried their best to assist. Unfortunately, the rooms didn’t match the service. The water temperature in the shower kept swinging from scalding hot to freezing cold with no warning, and despite raising it, the issue couldn’t be fixed. We also had a loud vibration noise in the room, though thankfully maintenance was able to sort that one out. It’s a shame the infrastructure lets the place down, because the team running it is doing a great job.

Perfect location and super friendly staff who are really attentive all your needs. The morning breakfast has wide variety of options, I’m only missing a good coffee machine because personally not the fan of the one they have. The restaurants are all have nice food - I used them both à la carte and room service. Portions are nice and taste is amazing. The rooms are perfectly fine, a little worn but everything works okay and the bed is nice, big and comfortable. I like the gym, it’s a great size and open from 6am-11pm.

The staff at the hotel are always excellent and helpful. They are willing to help whatever the request. I forgot my charger and they found it, informed me it was located and kept it for me safe The breakfast is great, options are wide and fresh with different things each day Only criticism would be that the rooms are a bit outdated, the desk chair is not comfortable to work on and the lighting is dark

The swimming pool service lacked proper supervision, safety oversight, and basic guest services. We remained at the pool area for more than two hours without any attendance from the pool supervisor or responsible staff member to provide even the minimum level of service, such as towels or drinking water. This reflected a clear level of negligence, disorganization, and disregard for guest comfort and needs. Furthermore, my son was involved in an accident at the pool which resulted in a deep injury to his leg and caused severe bleeding. At the time of the incident, no staff member or supervisor was present to respond appropriately or provide the necessary first aid assistance. What occurred appears to be a direct result of the poor condition and inadequate maintenance of the pool facilities, where sharp and worn-out parts were present without proper inspection or maintenance. This represents a serious safety hazard to pool visitors, especially children..

During my recent stay at this Courtyard Marriott I overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel itself and the staff is very nice, and one of the highlights is definitely the rooftop pool, which is beautifully designed and a great place to relax. The dining options are also solid—breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style. While it isn’t overly luxurious, the food selection is good and everything was consistently enjoyable. However, there were a few downsides, mostly related to the spa area. The sauna was missing any scents, and the lighting was quite dim, making it difficult to read the temperature or even the sand-timer inside. Additionally, a wooden cover in the sauna was only loosely attached and fell down a couple of times from light contact. The temperature display in the spa shower (first from left) also appeared to be inverted. There was no relaxing music, and after using the sauna or steam room, there wasn’t a proper relaxation space—only a small hallway with air conditioning that was too cold to sit in for long. Also the rooftop pool was quite chilly in November at night, we hoped that at least the hot-tub would be warmer but it wasn’t. In Room 902, there was one recurring issue: when taking a shower, even when trying to position the shower curtain carefully against the wall, most of the time water still escaped and spread across the bathroom floor—enough that it almost reached the mirror on the opposite side of the room. Not a major problem, but inconvenient. Overall, the hotel offers a great experience with several strong points, especially the rooftop pool and the general comfort of the facilities. With a few improvements in the spa and bathroom setup, it could be excellent.

I stayed with them back in December 2025 and I found a COCKROACH in my room! They gave me a new room and guess what I found there? ANOTHER COCKROACH! I checked out and booked another hotel after that and Marriot promised they would refund the remainder of my stay but it's April 2026 and still no refund and no response from them! This is a cockroach infested hotel that will ignore you when you ask for a refund that they promised would give you!

What I liked most about the hotel was its geographical location, as it is close to most of the landmarks in Kuwait, such as Souk Al-Mubarakiya, Al-Shaheed Park, and the Opera House.

Surely one of the best hotels to stay in the area. But what truly makes the experience memorable is the service provided by the team. The front office staff always greeted me warmly, acknowledged my presence, and were extremely helpful with all my needs. Moustafa at Concierge went above and beyond in assisting me with exploring the city and arranging a car rental with Ahmed. The Atrium team also deserves special mention. At breakfast, the ladies were outstanding always friendly and attentive, even remembering the coffee preferences of me and my colleagues. The dinner team was equally impressive. The ladies and the supervisor made sure a welcoming atmosphere with his chat while also giving the right space for a peaceful dinner. Housekeeping was equally remarkable. Krishna, who primarily looked after my room, never missed a detail. He was attentive with amenities, ensured the beds were perfectly made, and even noticed my pillow preferences without me having to ask. Thank you, Courtyard team, for making my stay exceptional.

The hotel is truly excellent. The service is second to none. I never want to exaggerate anything but I have to do it justice. It is right at the centre of Kuwait city so if you are travelling for work all businesses will be within a walking distance. The staff is incredibly amazing and they go above and beyond, I arrived way before check-in and was supposed to be charged an extra day but they waived it. There is always someone around to help. I had meetings all around the city and would reserve a hotel car. The one day I had a meeting at a different time, I called a bit later and they said they already had a car waiting for me just in case. Without me even asking. That is customer service. They truly care. The rooms are big and spacious, the bath tub is huge and deep. The hotel itself is gorgeous, has a gym with a full sauna and pool. It is connected to a mall so you have everything you need. This will be the only hotel I stay in, in Kuwait city.

We recently visited the Courtyard by Marriott Restaurant in Kuwait City for an iftar buffet with family, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant offered a diverse range of international cuisine, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The buffet started with an impressive selection of **salads**, including green salad, tabbouleh, fatoosh, and Caesar salad, among others. The freshness and variety of the salads were commendable, and the inclusion of figs, dates, and raisins added a delightful touch. The **main course** featured a wide array of dishes, each more delicious than the last. We savored prawn biryani, mutton ouzi, butter chicken, and lamb curry. The prawn biryani was aromatic and flavorful, while the mutton ouzi was tender and perfectly spiced. The butter chicken was creamy and rich, and the lamb curry was hearty and satisfying. Additionally, there were pasta and macaroni options, which were well-prepared and tasty. The **assorted breads** were fresh and complemented the main dishes beautifully. We also enjoyed shawarma and various fried items like samosas, which were crispy and delicious. The **dessert** section was a highlight of the evening, offering a superb selection of Arabic sweets and pastries. The waffles were light and fluffy, and the passion fruit trifle was a refreshing and unique treat. The **ambience** of the restaurant was amazing, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our family gathering even more special. The staff were attentive and ensured that our dining experience was pleasant and enjoyable. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Restaurant in Kuwait City is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and memorable iftar buffet. The variety of food, quality of dishes, and wonderful ambience make it a perfect choice for family gatherings.
