I had a very disappointing experience with this furniture showroom. I ordered a study table worth 30,000 PKR and a chair worth 10,000 PKR and was told it would take 22 days to prepare. Even after waiting that long, it was delivered 3 days late, making the total waiting time 25 days.
When I went to pay the remaining amount, I noticed the table was made in two separate parts — one was the shelf section and the other was the main table surface used for studying and keeping items. Ideally, a proper study table should be made in one solid piece, but instead it looked like it was made from separate, leftover wood sheets joined together.
I asked their team to connect the two parts, assuming they would join it from the back side or in a neat way so that the joint would not be visible. I am not a carpenter, but even I know that joints should not be done in an exposed and ugly way. If I can understand that, then professionals whose job this is should definitely know better.
When I complained, the worker told me that he had already asked my permission to connect it and that I had agreed. However, he never explained how he was going to connect it. If I had been told that it would be done in such a rough and ugly way, I would have refused immediately. A customer agrees based on the expectation of professional workmanship, not careless finishing.
Instead of doing clean work, they used 12–13 white plastic L-shaped hooks with visible screws, placed directly in front of the user’s eyes, completely ruining the appearance of the table. It looks extremely cheap, poorly planned, and unprofessional, which is unacceptable for a table of this price.
To make things worse, the staff is highly unprofessional. There is no proper system for customer dealing. Whenever you visit to ask about your product, they keep sending you from one place to another:
• “Delivery people are on the road.”
• “Go talk to them.”
• Then sending you to someone else.
It is not the customer’s job to roam around their area searching for staff just to get updates. There should be one clear point of contact for customers, not this chaos of scattered people and shops.
Also the drawers are not installed properly, look at the gap in attached photo, not straight, opening it causing weird friction with upper surface.
Advice to future customers:
Please carefully inspect your furniture before making full payment, because once the full amount is paid, their attitude and service change completely.
Overall, an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.
