This year, in March 2025, I purchased a bulk of items from your store (2 refrigerators, a 10 kg washing machine, and a Voltas 1.5-ton AC). Right from the beginning, I have been facing continuous service issues.
The problems started with the washing machine delivery. The Croma team sent the washing machine through a third-party transporter (PORTER) without any assistance. I had to carry the washing machine from the ground floor to the 2nd floor myself, which caused severe heart pain. Despite paying all the necessary charges, I still had to manage the shifting myself, which is unacceptable.
Now, my new AC, which has not even completed 10 months, is not working properly for the last 2 weeks. I registered a complaint, and a technician was sent. He simply changed some settings on the remote and left. The same night when I started using the AC, I did not feel any cooling effect. For a 1.5-ton AC, my bedroom is not even 150 sq. ft, yet there was no performance.
After two days, I was shocked to receive a message saying the complaint had been attended and resolved. No one visited my place, and no one even called me. It seems Croma has a magical technician who can fix problems without physically attending the site.
I informed the Croma team again, but they were least bothered to respond until I followed up multiple times. I registered another complaint, and once again, after two days, I received a message stating that the customer has cancelled the request, which is completely false.
On top of that, I took additional coverage for all the products, yet I am the one suffering without proper service. Croma, a Tata company, and Voltas, also part of the Tata group—both brands are failing to provide service standards expected from such a reputed organisation. Mr. Ratan Tata is considered a role model across India, but the service extended to customers through Croma is damaging the reputation of the Tata name.
I am left with no option but to approach the Consumer Court. I have completely lost my patience.
