Then we walked into Crosswords bookstore right next door and realized Third Wave is inside the store, near the counter. There is a decent seating area there, not huge, but enough space to sit comfortably with a coffee. The bookstore itself is nice. It’s spacious and has a wide range of books and other products. You’ll find books across many genres, along with stationery and gift items. Prices vary a lot. Some books are affordable, while others, especially imported editions, are quite expensive. It really depends on what you pick up and where it’s coming from. I liked that there were options at different price points. You can browse without feeling rushed, and it doesn’t feel too cramped even when there are people around. The coffee inside makes it a good place to pause for a bit, read a few pages, or just sit quietly. We were actually looking for Third Wave Coffee and found it on the map. When we reached the building, there was no sign of it anywhere. Nothing in the elevator either, so we were a bit confused at first Overall, it’s a good bookstore to visit in Juhu if you enjoy browsing and don’t mind spending some time there. Just know that Third Wave Coffee is inside Crosswords and not a separate outlet, which can be confusing at first.

The crosswords has recently become 1/4 the size as it was previously and now you cannot sit in the attached coffee shop and read (unless you purchase the book). The whole charm has been removed unfortunately with this new rule. What’s the point of visiting crossword now? I might as well just buy the books from Amazon.

March 2026: Sadly this place has downsized big-time. It has become less than 1/4th of what it used to be. Couple of sections like Travel etc have completely disappeared. Sad

Great and lovely place, absolutely a heaven for bibliophile people or those who even remotely love being with books. GREAT Ambiance and great views. The third wave coffee place inside is a plus. Do visit this irresistible place once.

Good ambience, lots of books to explore. Huge place and well maintained. There is third wave coffee in the house, so one can order for food and cafe and read books in the cozy corners.

Access is from opposite the Mosque; on the 6th floor. Awesome collection of books. You can grab a coffee from Third Wave with a croissant to sit and admire the wide collection. A perfect getaway from screen time. A children's get together was going on in a corner. The coffee shop was over flowing with readers. Ample sitting space over looking the wide roads to give a perfect break to your eyes from reading. This place is a haven for book lovers like me. The only reason I gave one star less is the Cashier, who had a bad attitude. While checking out, I had a couple of books with one marked "half price". Without checking, he rudely told me there's no such discount. Besides not being aware, his attitude put me off. I calmly pointed out to the book without me saying a word. Without apologising, he simply deducted the necessary. Crossword is a reputed store I am associated with for many years, did not expect they employ such people who have zero work ethics, especially at a customer-centric position.

Large book collection. U can sit and read there too. Third wave coffee is also there. Loved the chocolate croissant. Prices are a bit expensive so I ordered from Amazon. I go there for reading, spending time with my friend, coffee and a bit of book surfing so I know which book to order from Amazon.

I recently ordered four self-help books online from Crossword Bookstore, and I’m really happy with their service! Crossword is a paradise for book lovers! The store offers a wide selection of books across genres, making it easy to find something for every reader.I had visited for book launch event. The housekeeping and ambience is also well maintained and is very quiet at times to encourage you to pick up “that book” and start your reading journey. I had visited this place a few months ago for a book launch and it was surely well-arranged, although the seating arrangement was somewhat limited. The staff is well-versed in the literary world and will guide you to the right rack and shelf. Surprisingly, the store houses some odd toys and Japanese books that seem out of place in such a large bookstore renowned for knowledge and fun. All types of cards, debit and credit, and other forms of payment, including cash and UPI, are accepted here. While the selection of books at Crosswords Juhu is impressive, the overall experience is marred by the pretentious clientele and poorly managed parking. The high-handed attitude of some customers and the exorbitant pay-and-park fees make it a rather unpleasant shopping experience. One can't help but worry about the valet's care for premium vehicles. Despite these drawbacks, the store remains a popular destination for book lovers in Mumbai. I love crossword very much as I am a huge manga fan but I couldn't get real manga. As in india a lot of fake are being sold. But crosswords gives you an option where you can read manga in there beautiful ambience. I finally bought my first manga from crossword. And that is soo good. So if you want to read the manga they give chance to read all the mangas in their beautiful ambience

One of the amazing Crossword stores that I visited ever... I was here for the book signing event by Ankur Warikoo and got a signed copy 🤩 and gifted him my debut book Know Your WHYs Wisely. The store has a massive collection of books right from literary fiction to children's books 📚 The staff is very courteous and helpful. The ambience of the store is pretty and aesthetic. Beautiful city view, cafe and cozy sitting space makes it a must visit. There are stationery, accessories, toys and gift articles too. Overall a great experience 👍👍👍

Lovely place to sit and read. The addition of Third Wave inside the place is really good. But can do better by adding more seating area. And the price of the books can be lower and better too.

Nice place for relaxation. There is also a third wave cafe if you feel hungry. There are many types of books including manga.You can also buy many stuffs for kids or for yourself. Overall an amazing place to be at.
