Este sitio debe de visitarse, es interesante todo lo que encontraras al interior, varias culturas juntas en un solo lugar. Te conectaras con la historia y religiosa. Compraras cosas a buen precio. La comida no es tan agradable.

Always great to visit whenever in Jerusalem. History of this gate still amazes me every single time.

I absolutely loved it here, to be honest the summer crowds can be a bit much. It gets pretty cramped on the walkways, so if you can, try to go early or on a weekday so you actually have some space to enjoy without having to navigate the crowds

good reference to take. big and in direct north (en plein nord :) to start orientate in the old city that is a maze to visitor :))

De Damascuspoort (Bab al-Amud) is de grootste en meest indrukwekkende toegangspoort tot de Oude Stad van Jeruzalem, gelegen aan de noordkant en de belangrijkste ingang voor het Islamitische Kwartier, vernoemd naar de route naar Damascus en de Romeinse zuil die er ooit stond. Gebouwd door Suleiman de Grote in 1537, biedt deze poort toegang tot de levendige Arabische wijk en een marktplein, met onder de Ottomaanse structuur restanten van een Romeinse poort.

Beautiful square, and best place to relax and have lunch 🥙 The stray cats are friendly and like pets and food. Directly in from here is the best market street, continues all the way down.

La porta dei Leoni , grande esperienza bellissima da vedere per chi viene in questi posti, è d'obbligo venirci una cosa meravigliosa giornata stupenda!

Absolutely stunning, the architect of the buildings are just unique. The beauty of the Homeland, Jerusalem, Palestine is breathtaking! Going through the old city and shopping, you will see fresh fruits, fresh bread, falafel etc! The smell of the food will make you purchase something to eat along with a drink such as the lemonade with mint ! The PALESTINIAN people are just so generous, genuine and giving. Great souvenirs from all over!

Дамасские или Шхемские ворота старого города. Входишь через них и сразу попадаешь в мусульманский квартал. Недавно под воротами открыт небольшой музей. Очень интересно осмотреть.

Fascinating place,you feel that you are back in time. You get the feeling that you are in a far away exotic country. I felt a little bit nervous but nothing happened. Lots of foreign workers taking pictures, shopping and taking advantage of the good prices.
