I loved my stay at Danny’s. Annie is the warmest sweetest kindest host. The location is great, right by the beach with a lot of surf shops and cafes around. The room is amazing, very aesthetic and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again

I had an amazing stay at Danny’s. The rooms are beautiful and perfect for both a relaxing holiday and an extended remote work stay. The location is unbeatable, right by the best food spots and some of the most beautiful beaches, though the kitchen makes cooking at home just as good. Annie truly went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible experience, from thoughtful recommendations to a late check-out. There was honestly nothing more I could have asked for. 10/10

We stayed for three nights and had a very pleasant welcome. The place has everything you need, with a nice minimalist design. Cozy, calm, and homey atmosphere. Right across the street, there’s a café with great breakfast and coffee, beach access, and a small natural pool. There’s also a nice spot nearby that we planned to visit during the weekend.

We had the best stay here at Danny’s. The owner are very friendly & always helpful. Everything was super clean, spacious and very nice. Also some chilling area in a common room, a fully equipped kitchen & filtered water, where you can refill your warerbote. The location is great, some cafes around, surfspots. We really enjoyed staying here. It is very beautiful hotel. We reccomend it a lot!

Perfect location, very quiet during the night- you wake up with the birds sounds :) Anni and her partner are the perfect hosts! She is always there for you to help and arrange whatever is needed. Just 2 minutes down to the ocean and the surf spot. Spotless clean rooms and amazing beds with bedding- proper blankets with white sheets (maybe the German influence ;)) which is just amazing luxury way of sleeping. Best we had on Sri Lanka :) We'll definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay with Anne and Sachin in Sri Lanka. Their space is beautiful with calming, minimalist interiors. They went above and beyond to help us with everything — from booking tuk-tuks and surf lessons to recommending amazing places to visit in Mirissa. They were extremely kind, checked in on us often, and even accommodated an early check-in and late checkout. Truly warm and gracious hosts. We’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Mirissa. Thank you, Anne and Sachin, for hosting us with so much love 🤍

Wir können Danny’s Madiha wirklich uneingeschränkt empfehlen - wir hatten hier zwei Tolle Wochen im Dezember. Madiha ist ein traumhaft schöner und noch ruhiger Ort mit tollen Cafés und Restaurants, die man von er Unterkunft innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erreichen kann. Nur 2 Minuten entfernt gibt es einen direkten Zugang zu einem kleinen Strand und man ist bloß 20-30 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von z.B. Marissa oder Weligama entfernt. Im Ort gibt es auch Surfschulen für jedes Level. Die Schule, die wir gewählt haben, hat uns als Anfänger sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und toll minimalistisch eingerichtet, man hat alles was man braucht. Anni und ihr Partner sind super lieb und geben tolle Tipps, um die Umgebung schnell kennenzulernen! Am liebsten wären wir geblieben, absolute Empfehlung! ☺️

Super schönes Hostel mit einer tollen Gastgeberin Aniii. Große, moderne, sehr saubere Zimmer. Sehr ruhige Lage, aber trotzdem alles in der Nähe was man braucht. 1 Minute zum coolen Surfstrand.

Wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Alles ist super sauber und gepflegt. Die Einrichtung ist clean und dennoch sehr gemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie haben uns beim Ausleihen eines Rollers geholfen und waren auch sonst immer erreichbar und haben uns mit hilfreichen Tipps versorgt. Madiha ist ein ruhiger nicht zu touristischer Ort. Die Unterkunft ist 1 min. von tollen Restaurants entfernt und auch der Strand ist innerhalb von 2 min zu erreichen. Dort konnten wir mit Schildkröten schnorcheln. Wer gerne einen entspannten Abend haben möchte, kann ihn auf der Terrasse, der Unterkunft verbringen und etwas in der gemeinsamen Küche kochen, die immer blitzsauber war. Eine Grundausstattung ist vorhanden. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Ein absoluter Traum in Madiha! Mein Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – ich hätte es mir nicht besser wünschen können. Die Lage ist traumhaft: nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Strand, umgeben von tropischer Natur und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu tollen Cafés, Restaurants und Surfspots. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet, extrem sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders genossen habe ich die gemütliche Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne – ideal zum Entspannen. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Liebe zum Detail hier steckt. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben mir tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und dafür gesorgt, dass ich mich rundum wohlfühle. Ich wäre am liebsten noch länger geblieben und kann die Unterkunft wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Great house to stay in! The owners are very friendly and doing their best to make you comfortable. The rooms are clean, quiet and the beds are great, too. There is a big outdoor space to cook (stove, kitchen, utensils…), eat (dining table) and relax (big couch, ventilators). The garden has soft grass and there is a shower to rinse off. WiFi works perfectly and you can refill filtered water at any time. Very close to bars/restaurants/surf spots and sunset locations. Mein Aufenthalt bei Anni und Sachin war rundum wunderschön! Die Unterkunft und auch die Zimmer waren immer super sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und genauso wie auf den Bildern. Man merkt sehr, dass sich wirklich Mühe gegeben wird, jedem Gast einen schönen Aufenthalt zu geben. Beide Gastgeber sind so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und auch die Lage ist perfekt. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Tolle Restaurants und Cafés sind ebenso fußläufig zu erreichen. Ich habe mich sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt und würde immer wiederkommen. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die eine entspannte Auszeit suchen! Vielen Dank für Alles :)

Sehr freundliche und liebenswerte Inhaber. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an rundum wohlgefühlt. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden immer erfüllt. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls hervorragend, alles was man braucht ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hotel strahlt eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre aus, und man merkt, dass den Inhabern das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen liegt. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen und würden auf jedenfall wieder hier Buchen.

I‘ve stayed at Danny‘s just at their opening and I absolutely loved it. It simply has everything you could ask for: super modern rooms with a comfy king size bed and a proper duvet (you will not find that a lot in Sri Lanka), a nice common area with a fully equipped kitchen and a pretty garden, good restaurants around the corner, just 100m away from the beach and the surf spot, etc. The owners are super friendly and made sure I have the best experience at their place. I can highly recommend staying there 🌴

Absolutely beautiful! Modern and comfortable rooms, super clean, nice kitchen and common area with everything you need. The location is also amazing, good restaurant and cafe just a few steps down the road and of course also just a few steps to the beautiful beach. 100% recommended!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit bei Ani und Sachin. Die beiden haben einen unheimlich schönen Ort geschaffen um zu entspannen, sich wohl zu fühlen, sich auszutauschen und einfach nur zu sein. Das modernisierte Haus bietet alles was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, in der Küche macht es Spaß sein Essen zuzubereiten und die Gemeinschaftsecke plus Garten laden zum abhängen ein. Danke auch für alle Fragen und wünsche die gern beantwortet wurden. Super tolle Gastfreundlichkeit!! Wir kommen wieder!
