Santhosh from Data Magic assessed it quickly, gave me a fair price, and was very patient while I decided if I wanted to go ahead with the work. When I chose to go ahead, he did the job really quickly, recovered what I wanted, and communicated well throughout. What made this more impressive was that the computer my HD came out of was a Commodore Amiga - in other words not a PC or Mac - and was formatted with a proprietary filesystem, which didn't cause Data Magic any issues. After my Apple computer crashed, Apple Support sent me to another company and they had my computer for over a week. They could not retrieve the data in the computer. I was then advised to come to Data Magic. I was told that it might take a week to get the data. Within 3 days, Data Magic had been able to get my all of my data.
