THE DEFENCE CLUB R SECTOR

The Defence Club R-Sector is a very good option for family dining, casual hangouts, and events if you want a pleasant environment with a variety of food in a club setting. If you’re a member (or going with one), you’ll likely get better service and full access to amenities. If I were you, I’d recommend going outside of peak hours if you want quicker service and better parking. But even with its flaws, it offers value and atmosphere that many people enjoy. Beautiful ambiance & greenery: The club has indoor and outdoor seating, well maintained lawns, gardens, and a relaxing environment. Family-friendly venue: Many people like bringing their families for dinner, casual meals, and small get-togethers. It’s calm, clean and good for relaxing evenings. Good variety of food: The menu has plenty of options — sandwiches, desserts, BBQ, etc. Some visitors especially like the club sandwiches and cheesecakes, and say food is “within budget. Decent facilities: The club has outdoor BBQ area, café (coffee shop), lawns, green environment, and things like gym/swimming pool/tennis courts (for members) in some branches. What Needs Improvement • Food quality inconsistent: A number of people mention that sometimes dishes are good, sometimes not so much — some items under-cooked, or not up to expectations.  • Service speed & response: When the crowd is big, waiting times increase; service gets slower and staff might be less attentive. Parking & crowding: Parking is limited or not always sufficient, particularly during peak meal times or events. Club can be crowded, making comfort somewhat lower.

Its a good reasonable place for a family dinner, Casual Meeting with friends or even for a semi formal lunch or dinner. Must say that thier coffee shop is good n economical. Its only for the club members thats indeed a limitation but the food quality, taste and portion is reasonable. Though the service needs to be improved a lot. On the whole its a good place which also provides and outdoor sitting which is blessed in a good weather or best to sit in winter noon.

The place is very nice, the staff is very friendly, and the food was excellent.

Very bad experience. Extremely unprofessional staff. Their manager was so loud, had no decency, keep instructing waiters so loudly “Aur ghulab jamun serve ni krna” and not because there were plenty on the table but because he just didnt feel like serving more. I felt so embarrassed infront of my guests. Cold tea, cold soup. Not recommended. If you end up having booking here, just make sure to instruct them not to yell in front of your guests so you feel embarrassed. And wait tell you taste the food, boy that is going to give you regrets.

Good selection of buffet. Taste is good. Usually not very busy. You have to be a member to avail their facilities. There's a nice coffee shop too. Most of the areas have been renovated.

Its beautiful place with indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. Full of greenry , their food quality and service is also very good. If you wana enjoy beautiful ambiance with good food then its the best option.

Beautiful space, loved the spring flowers and the open air setting. Food was good, service also fine. They also had arrangements for namaz during ramzan.

Decent decor, excellent food,efficient service in comfortable and private environment inside and well maintained Green Lawns outside.

Nice family place. Great service food n ambience.

The club had a good run until the last two secretaries ruined it with poor management and inexperience. Food prices are unreasonably high, and the management should consider partnering with banks to offer credit card discounts like other clubs. The swimming pool, once among the best in Lahore, has been left in ruins. Mismanagement shows everywhere old broken lockers, dirty shower rooms, fungus on the pool walls, and a rusted pool rod. Even the gym is under unnecessary politics. The lady who conducts aerobics classes unnecessarily intervenes in everything, creating an uncomfortable environment for regular members who simply want to use the gym facilities. Very sad to see such a decline.

Returned to the R Block Gym after an exceptionally long period of time and I gotta say, I love the new renovations/interior and staff.

Its services are only for their local members, it has no concern or relationship with word defence for it officially doesn't entertain a serving or retired officer who may be attracted to visit due to the word defence taking them as his family. Therefore the misuse of this word defence must must be removed from its name.

I loved the ambience of this club. I wish of they could offer swimming pool in winter too

This is a best place for every budy , where you can celebrate your birthday weddings party's etc. The ambience of the club is so classy environment is very clean and people are very friendly.
