I am sharing my experience to highlight serious concerns regarding service practices at the Dell Authorized Store, Sector 14 Gurugram (Huda Market, SCO-18). After facing an issue post driver installation from Dell’s official website, I was advised to visit this store. The staff stated there was a motherboard issue and asked me to submit my laptop for 3–4 days. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing: The service acknowledgment was issued as a Notepad-typed document, not a formal Dell service receipt. Upon collection, I was informed that while the motherboard was fixed, a new battery issue had been identified, despite the battery functioning properly before submission. I was asked to pay ₹3,500 for this additional issue without prior notification or diagnostic proof. A passkey issue that I was assured would be resolved remained unaddressed. Such practices raise serious concerns around transparency, professionalism, and customer trust. I strongly urge Dell to review the operations of this store to ensure compliance with Dell’s service standards. ⭐ Rating: 1/5 – Expect Better from an Authorized Dell Store

The laptop I bought was defective (the lid of the laptop does not close properly). Despite of all the proofs and evidences, neither the store nor the dell customer support has helped me resolving the issue. The team agreed to the manufacturing defect and forcing me to get it repaired instead if replacing the laptop altogether. Please do not buy Dell laptops. First and worst experience with dell.
