First Wedding Anniversary Ruined
My father had booked the Jacuzzi Suite for 2 days well in advance. When he asked Mr. Santosh for booking details, he was casually told “uski kya zarurat, booked hi hai.”
A day before our check-in (3rd Dec), we reminded him again and specifically requested a nice room decoration on a chargeable basis.
Check-in Experience (3rd Dec)
1. When we arrived, the room was not ready.
2. The decoration we had requested in advance was not done at all.
3. Only after we raised the issue did they do a very bare minimum setup.
4. Most importantly, at the time of check-in, no one informed us that the room was not available for 4th Dec due to their internal double booking.
The Worst Part (4th Dec)
On 4th Dec around 3 PM, we received a call from Mr. Santosh pleading that we vacate the room because they had double-booked it and promised it to someone else for their wedding.
This was supposed to be a special day — our first wedding anniversary.
Instead, I was put under emotional distress. I ended up in tears, and I am currently 7 months pregnant. Instead of relaxing and celebrating, I was forced to vacate and deal with stress, confusion, and complete mismanagement.
This wasn’t our first bad experience with them.
During my wedding last year, they overpromised multiple things — eg speaker arrangements — and on the event day said it was “not included,” causing unnecessary stress. Even the cost estimates were manipulated when our guest count changed for Haldi and Mehendi.
There is a consistent pattern here: Overpromising, Not delivering what was committed, Hiding important information until the last minute, And repeatedly causing stress to guests who trust them
This experience ruined what should have been a beautiful memory for us. Extremely disappointed and deeply hurt.
