After a decade of silently struggling, I finally feel like I’m starting to experience what “normal” feels like—and it’s all thanks to Dr. Shaju George. Since I began seeing him in January 2025, my life has changed in ways I didn’t think were possible. He listens without judgment, responds with genuine care, and has the patience to guide me through every doubt and fear. Choosing to consult Dr. George was, without question, the best decision I made this year.

Dubai Community Health center provides satisfactory facilities for special kids evaluation and therapy. My child was diagnosed with Autism & ADHD, DCHC team provided great support for 3+ years for Psychological Assessment, Speech and Occupational Therapy. We took Psychological Assessment with Ms Nikita Barreto, her strategy and planning is amazing, and a patient listener to understand my child mindset. She took ample time to assess my child and provided evaluation report with many strategies to implement in school, home, therapy center for my child. Even when we used to have any queries for clarification, She used to respond to our concerns and guide us how to tackle the situation. Thank you Ms Nikita for the support provided. We took 3+ years of Speech therapy with Ms. Earncey Johnson. There are no words to explain the qualitative techniques and guidance she provided to my child in training her. She prepared proper goals, considering school and parent requirements. She made sure that my child achieved the milestones. With proper follow-up on sessions, feedback was provided on the child each session. She built up my child's confidence to talk and express her feelings. Apart from training my child, she understands and provides time to parents in providing feedback also listen to the concerns patiently and provides strategy to work on situations which requires special attention in nurturing my child. Thank you Ms Earncey for all efforts, support and understanding you provided to my child and us (parents) We also took Occupational Therapy with Ms Iriene Johns, she provided multiple strategies and guidance in handling meltdowns with sensory activities that can be implemented at home , in open areas and also in school. These strategies helped my child to calm down and improve her focus. Thank you Ms Iriene, for your time and for providing strategies that we use when ever required. Lastly, thank you to the staff who scheduled our appointments based on our flexibility and also provided on-time document that were required for reimbursement.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Shaju George at Dubai Community Health Center for treatment related to mixed anxiety disorders, and I’m writing this with immense gratitude. His guidance, compassion, and treatment truly transformed my life. Before meeting him, I was overwhelmed and silently struggling. But after the treatment, I began to feel like a completely new person — lighter, calmer, and truly alive again. He didn’t just treat my condition — he saved my life. This was a real turning point for me, and I will always be grateful. Dr. Shaju George’s work is powerful, and I hope many others find healing through him as I did.

My son has been having Occupational Therapy early intervention with Ms Iriene Johns twice weekly for the past 6 months, he has shown tremendous improvement since he started with eye contact, attention, visual & fine motor skills and overall school readiness. She has been great with sharing tasks to work on at home and has great communication with us. My son loves going to his sessions as well and has so much fun learning with her!

Very grateful that I had the chance to interact and work with Nikita Barretto over numerous sessions. She instantly made me feel comfortable by being a good listener, taking the time to make notes and remembering them all throughout our sessions, many weeks later. This makes one feel important and heard. She is very kind, understanding and able to put forth an idea in a pleasant way which makes it easy for the receiver to accept and apply changes. She helped me recognize childhood patterns that needed amendments and with her help I was able to accept these and make changes. She also has a good sense of humor and is able to lighten the mood during intense sessions. I definitely recommend her and look forward to working with her in the future.

Well, I normally don't do online reviews but despite that place having many great therapists across many specialties, I am surprised by their consultant psychiatrist way of comminunication with his patients, Dr.Safwat is so much masked face and not accepting people emotions which is something major for psychiatrist in practice, ideally he should embrace people feelings, I used to attend to other clinic previously where I can't wait to see my psychiatrist to discuss and explain my emotions, feelings and experience with medication as well but my psychiatrist unfortunately left the country back to his home country. I think Dr.Safwat is also a very old school and not able to listen to individual experience with medications as he takes things personally if you share any side effect you had experienced etc..and then start put the blame on the patient !! I never met a psychiatrist with this philosophy with patients in practice.

My 10 year old son had a severe stuttering problem. It was so bad that he could barely speak a sentence without stuttering at every word. I was referred to Dr. Earncey (Speech therapist) by a friend. We started sessions a year back and saw noticeable improvement within the first few weeks. His speech has improved tremendously over the year. Dr. Earncey has been very patient with my boy though out the sessions. She also provides detailed feedback after each session which helps me support my son. Thank you Dr. Earncey for all your help.

Ms. Earncey Johnson (speech therapist) has done an amazing job with my 8 years old SEN student. She is working with him for 4 years and I noticed very big improvement on his speech development. He is getting more understand during class instructions, he is getting more active during discussions, his communication skills with peers improved. She is using various games and instructional techniques to engage the child, also she makes group session to build communication skills with peers, and using positive reinforces to encourage child behaviors. I highly recommend for this centre specially ms. Earncey Johnson for any parents who are concerned with their child's social and communication developments.

I have been going to the center since April 2019 to Earncy Johnson (my daughter’s speech therapist) She is amazing , very helpful and gives a detailed feedback after each session in addition to always advising me on how I can improve my daughter speech at home as well. We have seen a remarkable progress with her.

My son started therapy session from DCHC since dec 2022. He is taking OT from Ms Iriene Johns- Paediatric Occupational Therapist .She is an amazing therapist. My little one shows a lot of improvement in response, joint attention and pencil grasp. Iriene is transparent in her work guides me and provides lot of valuable inputs on home programs, to follow routine activities which helps very well. She is friendly, my son is eager to meet Iriene and enjoys his OT session. I appreciate her, and strongly recommend her for Occupational therapy.

Cannot recommend Earncey Johnson enough!!! Tried other speech therapists but Earncey outweighs them all!!! My son actually started looking forward to going to speech therapy and I noticed a immense improvement in his speech within the first month! She goes above and beyond to help your child reach speech targets and she spends time with the parents after EVERY session talking about progress and plans for the next session. She uses high end techniques and lots of tips are offered for home practice. Best of all... Her prices are very reasonable! If you're looking for a quality speech therapist look no further than Earncey!!!

We would like to recommend Mrs. Earncey, who tough our son Karim for more than 6 months. We appreciate your commitment, professionalism as well as strong planning. There is a big difference in speech progress when comparing before and after. We appreciate everything what you have done in 100%.

I'm so disappointed with the speech therapist in this center. The parents are asked to stay in the lobby and the child will go with the therapist to the session where you can't see or hear anything. In the last few sessions I got curious to know what my child is doing during the sessions, so I went to listen through the door and I realised she spends almost first half of the sessions on her own tasks and even telephone calls while my child sits there playing alone 😔 each session is around 450-500 aed. So imagine what a waste of money and time for parents of the late talkers who are trusting this therapist. Wish I had spent on 5 months of speech therapy somewhere else with more responsible and caring therapist. And hope other parents not get fooled and insist on sitting at the therapy sessions and not leaving their speech delayed children with someone who doesn't do her job professionally. It's so unfair way of taking advantage of kids who can't speak. I really can't get it out of my head🙁

Nikita Baretto was just amazing... not only was she an excellent counsellor, she was a very genuine human being. We come across very few in today’s times. A counselor with the perfect qualities that her profession demands😄😄😄highly highly recommended🥰

I have been seeing Ms. Earncey for 4 months and I have seen a tremendous improvement in my speech as well as my confidence. Ms. Earncey is very professional, kind and patient. Ms. Earncey always gives feedback after every session to my mother and I and her speech techniques are very helpful.

Nikita Barretto is very professional, caring , helping and, a great counsellor. She doesn't take her job as regular a job. She really work with her clients even if it take to work on her day off. She do have great solutions or recommendation for day to day problems. She really work towards the goal. Highly recommended Counsellor for couples.

We didn't know much about therapies when we first approached DCHC for our 4 year old, we were meticulously educated about the therapies by Ms. Earncey Johnson. She professionally took the lead and now our child is comfortable, obedient and mastered many words under her which would have taken us ages to bring him to that calibre. No words or stars can describe a parents happiness when they see the little ones achieve a milestone. It's priceless and kudos to Ms. Earncey for providing that feeling!

I would highly recommend DCHC - especially “ Teacher Earncey “ that’s what my son lovingly calls the speech pathologist as:-) I visited this place with a reference from my friend 4 months back for my child who showed a sign of delayed speech. From then, Earncey did a marvelous job to develop/improvise him not just on the speech front but also on his personality front. No doubt, he has come a long way on his speech ( million thanks to Miss Earncey) but also has she worked on his behavioral patterns like sharing , caring etc. For any parent who is facing a delayed speech problem with your child- please reach out to Miss Earncey and you will see the difference. She is also very co-operative and adjusting to the parents requirements on the class timings etc. I would also like to thank the staffs of DCHC - very professional, reminders are sent as per appointments ensuring you don’t miss one:), jovial :) the place is awesome, my child loves to go to the class as early as possible so that he can spend good amount of time in the play area. Earncey Johnson, Senior Speech & Language Pathologist, M.S, BASLP DHA & DHCC board certified practitioner is a very professional and highly qualified individual on her field.
