The Park, Durbarmarg

The Park, Durbar Marg has a great vibe with a pleasant ambience and a nice multi-cuisine setup. The atmosphere is lively and makes it a good place to hang out around Durbar Marg. I tried the Chinese cuisine. The service was excellent, and the team members were friendly, attentive, and professional, which I really appreciated. However, the taste of the Chinese dishes was a bit underwhelming for me and didn’t fully meet my expectations. There is definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of food quality and flavors. Overall, it’s a good place to visit in Durbar Marg for the ambience and service, and with some improvements, it could be even better.

Visited Jade at The Park and enjoyed a flavorful meal in a great ambience with a cozy dining area and professional staff. The starters—hot spicy chicken, peanuts, cucumber sadheko, and especially the spicy shrimp—were hot and satisfying. For the mains, the fried rice was the highlight, the chicken paired well with sticky rice, and the pork was okay for someone who isn’t a pork fan. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with standout dishes.

Food was honestly just okay, nothing special. The place itself is nice though, good vibe and a chill spot to hang out with friends and family. But the parking experience completely ruined it. The guy there seriously needs to learn how to do his job properly. We asked him nicely to help move some bikes because it was packed and we didn’t want to mess up someone else’s bike. Instead of helping, he straight up refused and told us to do it ourselves. What pissed me off even more was that he had no problem helping people with cars. Like seriously? At least treat everyone the same. It really felt like if you come with a bike, you’re on your own. And it wasn’t just us, other people with bikes were struggling too and he didn’t care at all. One guy nearby literally fell trying to move his bike and it ended up on the ground leaking oil, and this guy still just stood there watching like it wasn’t his problem. We managed to get our bikes out somehow and told him respectfully that if he’s working there, he should actually be responsible and help customers

Premium destination in Durban marg that houses great Restaurants and cafes and boutiques. Parking should be upgraded. Only few cars can be parked at a time..which is a hassle.

✅Ambience 5/5 Food 3/5 Overall it was good but Portion is little less and noodles variety was limited . Taste was little blaand in most food. Wanton and sauce not so good. Crispy Potato and fried rice was very good though. ✅very nice staff and service ✅Parking available which is best thing in durbarmarg. Mushroom was good . Sizzling meat item was okayish .

Visited The Old House recently. The ambience and hospitality were excellent, creating a very welcoming experience. The food was average, not bad but nothing particularly memorable either. One downside was the limited parking, which made arrival a bit inconvenient. Worth a visit if you're nearby, but plan ahead for parking!

Durbar Marg shines brightest after sunset. Streetlights reflect off polished roads, boutique windows glow, and the air feels alive with movement. It’s where Kathmandu slows down during the day and comes alive at night—a blend of calm sophistication and vibrant city energy.

Had a great birthday experience here! The ambience was lovely, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely a place I’d recommend.

The ambience is nice. We tried japanese and Chinese. Japanese felt a bit overpriced and overated while chinese felt reasonably priced. 75% of the people seem to only goto take photos to post on socials.

I went to jade and old house. For authentic and affordable food jade is better. however, for luxury oldhouse is by far better

Tasty food satisfied our hunger, and the park fulfilled our ambition to relax and enjoy.

Place is amazing with lots of good restaurant options. But limited parking option and very high costing restaurants.
