Such a gorgeous dinner !! Had the prawn curry which was absolutely delicious. Really sweet family who prepare the food with so much care. Mango lassi was to die for and all the vegetable trimmings were full of flavour, especially the pineapple salsa. Slow service so don’t come starving but it’s totally worth the wait for a beautiful meal made from scratch. Fresh fish and veg from fishmonger to plate. A fabulous meal !

Simply wow! Our hotel only served international food so we were on the lookout for some local food and we were so glad to find Eagle restaurant! The food is made on demand and the cook is extremely attentive to what you need. We ended up having rice tuna and 4 types of curry. This was the best meal we've had in Sri Lanka, by far. Highly recommended!

The place is just delicious. Gorgeous couple that cook there served us a huge portion of rice&veggie curry each, which was just mouth-watering! The place looks quite simple from the outside, but you can really get the best local, authentic meals there. All fresh and tasty, highly recommended while visiting the area.

Very delicous food, close to the beach. It is a small family owned restaurant with a lovely family. They will prepare the best food for you, you can even arrange your favorite food for the next day. We went here for 3 days. Delicious tomato onion salad, very good rice and curry with a cabbage pineapple salad. Tasty fruit juices, all fresh. You can get all kind of fresh sea food. Highly recommend this place.

Honest, family run, offering decent lankan food for a fair price. Menu is quite short and basic but you can find fried rice, fried noodles, curry etc. Made fresh and tasty. Prices are OK.

Очень вкусно! Не ошиблись с выбором места. Лапша с морепродуктами и рис с креветками, попросили сделать остро. Острота прям то, что нужно, приятная, её перебивает вкус блюда. Ввбор не большой, но так везде здесь. Спасибо за замечательный ужин, процветания вашему бизнесу!

Sehr leckeres Restaurant. Die Familie ist wirklich aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Wir waren gleich mehrfach da. An unserem letzte Abend haben wir eine Languste und Garnelen vorbestellt gehabt. Es schmeckte fantastisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :).

Very friendly husband & wife establishment. Everything freshly made with local ingredients. We had the Prawns & rice which was a huge portion, very flavourful and good value. The hosts treated us more like guests than customers.

Very nice place. We just found it randomly and we can't be more happy. We went already twice. Food is good, good prices, the place seems very new and reformed. And the family who runs it is really kind and good people! Very nice place. Fried rice is good, and they have fresh fish!

The food was prepared fresh from scrach and was amazingly tasty, I even got coconuts from the garden :) the portion was very big :) our stomachs have been very happy after the food! Highly recommend this place and the amazing family running this place :) ! We will visit again thank u very much , it was great to meet u all !

Priyantha and his family work together to produce delicious meals - especially the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. He is friendly and can provide advice on the local area.

Family business run by warm-hearted and kind people 😍 We came in very late (and really hungry) when the restaurant was about to be closed, but the lovely owner invited us to come in and said he will prepare food for us. The portions were big, there was a delicious salad on the side, and all of that in a reasonable price. We will come back 🙂

Family owned place. Family is very cute and friendly. The portions are big, but not a lot of taste. The juice is a mix of sweet water and can juice. Too expensive for what it is.

Владельцы действительно милые люди и порции правда большие, но нам пришлось довольно долго ждать наш невкусный ужин. Еда была сильно пересолнена, макароны очень жирные. Назвать напитки соками сложно, это скорее была сахарная вода с привкусом фруктов. Ценник выше среднего. Возможно нам просто не повезло.

Yummy local cuisine! We were happy to find the Eagle Restaurant on google maps. We ate some tasty and fresh food.

Wat een gastvrijheid! Het restaurant was in de middag eigenlijk gesloten, echter zag de eigenaar ons voor het dichte hek staan en verwelkomde ons met een hartelijke glimlach. Hij vroeg waar we zin in hadden: curry. Hij zei dat hij daarvoor wel 40 minuten nodig had en wij gingen akkoord. Heerlijk rustig gezeten met een lime juice en af en toe tussendoor met hem een praatje gemaakt. Vervolgens kwam de chicken curry en die was echt heeeeeeeerlijk. Geweldig goed op smaak en een grote portie. Kortom, zeer vriendelijke gastheer en vrouw, geweldig eten en een heel authentieke ervaring. Zou het aan iedereen aanraden.

This family restaurant is a bit hidden, but you won’t regret seeking it out! We were the only guest this evening, and everything was freshly prepared in the kitchen by the owners. Our favourite was the rice and curry, but the tuna, salad and boiled vegetables were also very nice.
