The sandwiches were quite good, offering a flavor that was relatively new to me. They’re medium-sized, and while the bread quality was just okay overall, it felt a bit too much in the “Fuccachino” sandwich.
There’s another menu with only 5–6 items, including the “Meat Plate” and the “Italian Sandwich.” I recommend choosing from that menu, as the flavors are more balanced and the bread quality is noticeably better than the standard menu. The “Italian Sandwich” was fairly small but incredibly tasty and impressively dense.
We didn’t try the pizzas, but they looked delicious.
As for the location, parking wasn’t an issue. There’s free parking near the designated truck area, as well as free street parking on the opposite side of the road.
The service was good, although the tables were a bit dirty due to cloth covers, which easily get stained with spilled sauces.
The only real downside was the smell of the nearby river. It had a lagoon-like odor that, while not overwhelming, occasionally distracted from the otherwise great dining experience. Thankfully, takeout is always an option.
In conclusion, a place offering new and memorable flavors in a relatively quiet area. Just be prepared for a slightly odd smell. Definitely recommended.
