All praise to Allah.
The pain started a day before Ramadan Eid first in my neck, then radiating down my right hand. By the next morning I was at the hospital, where I was diagnosed with Cervical Radiculopathy along with a Herniated Disc Protrusion. Over the following days, I consulted some of the top orthopedic and neurosurgeons in Hyderabad. Almost every one of them recommended the same thing: ACDF C6–C7 surgery. Only one doctor took a different path and put me on medication, which I'm still continuing.
But the pain was beyond anything I could describe unbearable in every sense of the word. That's when I started seriously considering a chiropractor. I had watched their videos before out of curiosity, and now I felt drawn to give it a real chance, even though it went against the advice of every doctor I had seen. Surgery just wasn't something I was ready for, both because of personal circumstances and the very real risks that come with operating on the spine.
So I took the leap. After watching countless videos and going through reviews of chiropractors across Dubai, I chose Emirates European Medical Center and Dr. Hardain. Only Allah knows how I made it through that flight, and the wait for my first appointment felt like an eternity.
When I finally sat down in front of Dr. Hardain, he listened to me with so much patience. I showed him every spot where I had pain, described how it felt, when it got worse and he heard me out completely before explaining what was actually happening inside my body, why it was happening, and how he believed he could help me get relief. Then he got to work.
I'll be honest I was deeply skeptical. A part of me kept wondering if any of this would actually work. But Dr. Hardain didn't just do the adjustments; he also brought in Dr. Jenny, who I can genuinely say is the best physiotherapist I have ever come across. Following Dr. Hardain's direction, she went to work and what she did with her bare hands, along with the equipment, felt nothing short of miraculous. She pinpointed every single trigger point and gave me real, noticeable relief from day one.
She also told me exactly what to expect in the hours and days ahead what kind of soreness or sensations I'd feel and everything she predicted unfolded just as she said it would.
I swear by Allah, before coming here I couldn't even lift my right arm without crying out in pain. After roughly three weeks of sessions on alternate days, I was moving my hand freely and the pain in my arm was gone by about 80 percent.
What stood out the most was the diagnosis itself. Yes, the Cervical Radiculopathy is still there, but Dr. Hardain caught something none of the other doctors had picked up on my shoulders and arms had become stiff as stone, and that was actually amplifying my pain far beyond what most patients with this condition experience. Identifying that hidden layer made all the difference.
The Cervial Radiculopathy pinched nerve pain still exists but atleast its bareable now.
I'm walking away from this experience with so much gratitude to Allah first, and then to Dr. Hardain and Dr. Jenny for giving me back the use of my hand and, honestly, a piece of my life. I just wish I could continue few more sessions. Thank You!!!! God Bless you both!
