Ferman Konak Hotel

Such a great location! Everything was walking or a few minutes away in Uber. The staff were soo helpful and kind especially Emir Khan and Latif! They really made my stay all the better. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The taxi can reach the hotel so you’re not dragging your suitcase up and down hills (which is common in Istanbul). Definitely will stay again!

Hôtel situé a 10 minutes a pied du centre historique de Sultanamet. Chambre authentique et propre. Cela peut paraître vintage mais ça donne un certain charme. Service satisfaisant. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel. Le personnel est disponible à tout moment. Merci aux réceptionnistes plus particulièrement Emir Can qui a été tres aimable et disponible.

Not accommodating and not helpful staff. Avoid at all costs. We were forced to pay for rooms we did not stay in, and when we pushed for a refund we were denied.

Disappointing experience with COMPLETELY NO ELECTRICITY OVERNIGHT. The “deluxe double room” we stayed in is a complete scam. Photos shown on booking agencies are misleading. Not only is the room arrangement different from what it advertises, but it is also very packed. I can barely reach the left side of my bed without bumping onto the television. Air quality is poor with smell of cigarette. Water drainage sucks in a way that a 5-minute shower can flood the bathroom. 1 of the light bulbs goes off and the air conditioning is very weak. To make things worse, the power supply in the area is extremely unstable, leading to a shortage of electricity on the night we stay. The hotel surely learnt about it in advance but ridiculously, they didn’t inform me at once. Only after I checked in did they suddenly call me and say I still have 5-minutes of electricity for use. They claimed that their electricity generator was forbidden to operate due to the noise. At that time, we were tidying our belongings, still haven’t bathed or charged our phones. The hotel cut our power supply completely. No light, no air-conditioning, no ventilation, no charging at all. The reception is arrogant and insisted that our room will regain power at 6am. Our sleeping quality is terrible as the room is STIFLING HOT without air-conditioning. Even we opened the window for ventilation, we kept sweating all night long. It was July when stayed, how come we pay for a room without air-conditioning. For anyone looking for accommodation near to tourists spots, just book any hotel other than Ferman Konak Hotel. Even sleeping on the streets is better than staying in this shitty place.

I had a fantastic experience at Ferman Konak Hotel! The room was comfortable and clean, and staying there as a solo woman, I always felt very safe. The location of the hotel is great, a quick walk from Sultanahmet which has great tram and metro links to the rest of the city, and short walk in the other direction takes you to a lovely pathway along the waterfront. The main highlight of this hotel was the staff who were wonderful! They were so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make conversation and help with any queries. Definitely the best customer service I’ve ever received! Thank you🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Biz izmir den ailecek istanbula geldik ve bu otelde konakladık. Gerek konumu gerek odaların güzelliği gerek personelin güler yüzü ve ilgisi bizi mutlu etti çok memnun kaldık herkese tavsiye ederim.

Tek gecelik kalmamıza rağmen odalar, personeller, otelin sessizliği sakinliği ve bahçede o keyifle otururken yandan ücretsiz bir şekilde içeceğinizi alıp güler yüzlü personeller ile keyifli bir sohbet yaparak sizi içine çeken bir otel. Bir dahaki İstanbul ziyaretimizde yeniden burada kalacağız aynı zamanda konumu gerçekten çok güzel. Kesinlikle kafanızda soru işareti kalmadan gelin☺️

I recently stayed at Ferman Konak Hotel in Istanbul and was delighted by the exceptional level of service, charming historic character, and the warm hospitality throughout my stay. The hotel impressed me from the moment we arrived with its beautifully wood architecture and thoughtfully curated decor that blends tradition with comfort. A special mention to Berat, who welcomed us during check-in with genuine warmth and professionalism. His friendly attitude and helpful guidance set the tone for the rest of our stay and immediately made us feel at home. Above all, what truly elevated my stay was the professionalism of Emirhan, a standout team member who went above and beyond. Every request was handled with polish, warmth, and a genuine friendliness. Emirhan anticipated needs before I even voiced them and did so with calm efficiency and a welcoming smile. It dramatically enhanced the experience and made me feel truly looked after. In short, I would highly recommend Ferman Konak Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. From the historic ambiance and superb location to the immaculate rooms and thoughtful service, it made my time in the city memorable. And a special thanks to both Emirhan and Berat, their professionalism and care really made the difference. I’d gladly stay here again on my next Istanbul trip.

Были в январе, в номере было тепло, что немаловажно. Все чисто, персонал вежливый, все объяснили, посоветовали где можно погулять, что посетить. Вкусный кофе в отеле, но завтрак платный в другом отеле, идти минуты 2. Там хороший вид с крыши на Голубую мечеть и город. В общем, все понравилось. Только вид из окна не очень, на жд дорогу, но она по-моему не действующая, поездов не слышали. Сам отель находится на тихой атмосферной улице.

This was an absolutely amazing experience, not because of the hotel, but because of the amazing staff. Latif and Emir are absolute stars, amazing hospitality, great knowledge and advice, but most importantly, they made us feel like VIPs. They were busy, but still took the time to converse with us, always offered drinks, shared their excellent knowledge of the city. It really felt like home. The hotel was great too, the garden is a great area to sit and relax, have your meals, and enjoy the July heat. Cant recommend this hotel enough, thanks to Latif and Emir. Wish you both a lot of success in life!

Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, mit den Zimmern war alles in Ordnung. Besonders edel ists nicht, dafür gibt es Gemeinschaftsräume, die kostenlos genutzt werden können, sowie rund um die Uhr Tee und Kaffee kostenlos. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Hotels uygulaması üzerinden rezervasyon yaptırıp özellikle seçtiğimiz odada kalacağımızı sanıyorduk (doğal olarak) ancak otele vardığımızda bizim haberimiz bile olmadan başka bir odaya yerleştirildiğimizi öğrendik. İlk önce “tadilat var” bahanesiyle geçiştirmeye çalıştılar, ardından “Sizin için daha iyi olur diye düşündük” diyerek keyfi kararlarını meşrulaştırmaya kalktılar. Ne zamandan beri oteller, müşterinin hangi odada kalacağına kendileri karar veriyor? Gerçek şu ki, odamız başkasına verilmişti! Bunu kabul etmek yerine, pişkince durumu savunup, verdiğimiz tepkiye karşılık “İlk defa böyle bir şeyle karşılaşıyoruz” diyerek suçu bize yüklemeye çalıştılar. Şeffaflık sıfır, dürüstlük yok, müşteri memnuniyeti ise umurlarında bile değil! Eğer paranızın karşılığını almak istiyorsanız, bu otelden uzak durun!

Amaç sadece uyuyacak yer ise evet, geceyi geçirirsiniz. Ancak otel odasından beklentiniz biraz konfor ve rahatlıksa hayır. Konumu ise sadece bir yoldan gidilebiliyor. Yolu geçerseniz asla ulaşamazsınız, her yer inşaat ve yollar kapalı.

Wspaniały hotel blisko najważniejszych atrakcji. Pokoje pięknie urządzone, czyste i całkiem przestronne. Do dyspozycji gości jest kuchnia. W całym hotelu najlepszy okazał się personel - niezwykle miły i pomocny. Za ich uprzejmością mogliśmy zameldować się szybciej po długiej podróży. W pokoju suszarka do włosów, płyny, ręczniki, kapcie i ciepła pościel. Bardzo polecamy!!!

Nous sommes descendus dans cet hôtel pour quelques jours. Il est situé à quelques minutes de la place sultan Ahmed. Certes, c'est un petit hôtel mais il a tout son charme. Ce que nous avons aimé : la propreté, l'emplacement, la gratuité des boissons chaudes (café, thé, chocolat), la proximité aux restaurants. Mention spéciale au personnel de l'hôtel qui était hyper chaleureux, sympa et serviable avec nous. Nous n'avons pas pris de petit déjeuner mais le fait qu'il y ait du café à disposition nous a beaucoup plu. Ce que nous avons moins aimé : l'absence d'ascenseur et l'insonorisation des chambres. Ceci dit même s'il y a des points que nous avons moins aimé, nous recommandons cet hôtel et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

Everything in this hotel was perfect! It exceeded all our expectations and by far it is our best hotel to try in Sultan Ahmet area. The location of the hotel is very convenient, rooms are very clean and very well equipped with anything you might need. The room service was also very good and punctual. But the best out of this experience was the receptionists attitude. Latif, Amir, and Ahmet were super friendly and helpful throughout our 1 week stay. They were significantly approachable, responsive to our calls and needs, friendly, and warmly welcoming to me my husband. And I think they add a lot to the value of this hotel. They also helped us book the Bosphorus cruise tour and gave us valuable advice on where to go/what to eat/ etc. Thank you for this wonderful stay, definitely will come back again!

The staff were lovely and very helpful Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. There is no restaurant or breakfast here but there is a sitting/ kitchen area where you can always help yourself to free drinks. There is also a small family run restaurant a few steps from the hotel They do deliver food but it’s so close you can walk to it We chose this hotel as we were within walking distance of all the sights of Istanbul and also in our 3 days here we went on some tours which were really to be recommended Not only could we see everything we wanted to, we also met some lovely people.

A family orientated hotel where the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel is clean throughout with all the facilities including a communal kitchen and chill out area with free hot drinks. The rooms are equipped with shower facilities, desk, wardrobe and tea making facilities. It is only 5 minutes from Sultan Ahmet square too.

We stayed at the Hotel Ferman Konak for the past 4 days. We had a fantastic time. Latif has been wonderful with answering all questions and helping us arrange excursions without hesitation. All the staff here are extremely polite. They were all brilliant, professional and provided an excellent service throughout our entire holiday. Highly recommended!
