The Flying Pan Restaurant Departure Terminal 3 - Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA)

We had a chicken wrap and the Chicken Kupaka. Both were delicious. Rich flavor, freshly cooked and for a reasonable price. A fresh lime soda was the perfect drink and a warm chai afterwards. Wether you crave something authentic Sawhili or rather something western, you will find it here. The staff was very attentive and friendly. There is a lot of focus on hygienic handling and our western stomach had no issues whatsoever.

I had such a delicious meal at the flying pan. They have a variety of options for vegetarians. The staff are warm, friendly, and great in communication. I eat here every time I fly. Highly recommend!

The people here are warm and nice to chat with! The food was really good and made me wish we could have real food like this in Wisconsin USA. Their wraps did not cause any reactions like swelling like American wraps do for me. They have a nice variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. Please eat there if you are ever at the airport in Dar Es Salam Tanzania!

The Flying Pan restaurant is best to have Vegetarian Toasted cheese. The staff were so friendly and kind. The chef 👨‍🍳 he is service is outstanding 👏. Best staff running the restaurant in well mannered.

I recommend just before you catch your flight or if you have time to enjoy the chicken. Great service and flexibility as well.

Wonderful place! I had a delicious chicken curry (in an airport! Who would expect that??) the food is great and the staff is extremely friendly. They also have a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Highly recommend!

The food was very good and the waiter was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience with the man handling the payment (possibly the manager or owner). He tried to charge us extra, claiming that the dish we ordered was more expensive. However, the price we were charged didn’t match the price clearly listed on the menu, and we were not informed about any price change in advance. The amount was small (2,000 TZS), but the situation itself was disappointing. Because payments were handled by the manager/owner, we decided not to leave a tip, even though the waiter truly deserved it.

Das war mein bestes „Flughafen Essen“ was ich je hatte, ich hatte das tansanische Kokos Curry mit Hähnchen und Ugali und dazu einen Smoothie aus frischen Früchten alles war sehr authentisch lecker und frisch. Die Kellner waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Great service. Mr. Mohammed visited my table to inquire about my food preferences. I ordered a chicken wrap, which was fresh, and the fries were big and chunky, just the way I like them. The meal was complemented with a nice sauce. Overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The decor could be more inviting, but I appreciated the quiet, clean space and the availability of a phone charging point.

I wasn’t happy at all. I ordered my breakfast and it took more than 20 minutes while we waited to be called to board. In the end, they even made us pay because the waitress said she had already “punched” the order. How do you punch an order without serving the customer? We paid and left the food!

I had mishikaki (beef) which was awesome but I gotta say that fresh Mango juice was the best I had in Dar. Highly recommended

We always stop by here while waiting to board our flight out of Dar es Salaam and it’s always pleasant. Extremely friendly staff and service is top notch. You always need a good meal before you fly and I’m grateful to have this place..staff will also keep an eye on your boarding time.
