VERY BEAUTIFUL !!! This is during the protests for ROJAVA , it is a citadel surrounded with magnificent art, history and design of the streets . Would recommend if u want to check out a cool bazar area for general curiosity, I would have wished some stuff like the foundations and other stuff to be fixed - also standardized to appeal to tourists ( like making a strategic point for tourists.

Citadel Fountains and Garden has great potential and a very nice location with beautiful views of the Erbil Citadel. The fountains and green areas could make it a relaxing place, especially in the evenings. Unfortunately, cleanliness is a big issue trash is thrown everywhere and the area is not well maintained. With better cleaning and public awareness, this place could be much more enjoyable and truly reflect the importance of its surroundings.

Lovely area lot of people there especially at night its right next to the bazar you can find 2 or 3 street food kiosk

Tarihi mekanlara olan bu yakınlık, turistlerin bahçelerin güzelliğinden kalenin büyüleyici tarihine kolayca geçiş yapabilmelerini sağlayarak genel deneyimi zenginleştiriyor. I visited the Erbil Citadel Fountain, and it was a simple yet pleasant experience. The location is lively and crowded, situated next to an important historical site. The atmosphere was suitable for walking and taking photos, especially in the evening. It’s worth visiting, especially for first-time visitors or tourists.

روعة مكان جميل جدا ولكن اسعار السوق قرب القلعة اسعار خيالية واستغلال للمواطنين

エルビルで一番賑わってました 記念撮影している人たちが多かったです 噴水は勢いがよく、一部の通路はビショビショでした 屋台が数軒出てました 屋台はとうもろこしと、ロングポテトが定番のようでした ロングポテト1,000ディナールでした 訪問時の実勢レート(公定レートじゃないです)で0.67USDくらいです 揚げたてのポテトは、バーベキュー味など好きなフレーバーの粉で味付けしてもらえました 周囲にレストランもあります 家族団欒でエルビル市民の憩いの場という感じでした

It is a great place if the targeted visitors aren't that much. But especially during holidays a lot of tourists go there for evining and to rest before vising the castle so it can be a little crowded and there is not enough space. The fountain are beautifully designed yet a little bit dirty which is a suprise considering how clean erbil streets are ! I think that with a little work and some money spend well on the place it would make a great tourist target, especially with the view of the gorgeous castle and the nearby down town shopping center and the beautiful architectural watch in the place.

Beautiful place right infront of the Citadel and right next to the Grand bazaar. Located next to alot of cafes and restaurants aswell. Must visit if you are here for tourism, only downside is because alot of tourists come here, the fountains are often dirty. Please make sure to not throw junk around if you are visiting. Usually not crowded in the afternoon and mornings but gets really crowded after maghrib prayer (sunset).

قلعة أربيل عبارة عن مسطح تراكمات بيئية تبلغ مساحتها (110) ألف متر مربع وتقع وسط مدينة أربيل. يصل ارتفاعه إلى (415 متر) أعلى من مستوى سطح البحر و (26 - 30 متر) أعلى من مستوى المدينة. تعتبر قلعة أربيل من أقدم القلاع التاريخية التي مرت بمراحل تاريخية كالسومرية والأكدية والبابلية والآشورية مراحل أخرى ، تعرضت هذه المنطقة لهجمات متعددة. تعرضت القلعة لتهديدات من جهات مختلفة مثل (السلوقي و الأخميني والساساني) ثم أصبحت تحت حكم الجيش الإسلامي ، مما جعل علماء الآثار يلقبونها بواحدة من أقدم المدن الحيوية المأهولة بالسكان في العالم ، حيث لا تزال الحياة مستمرة فيها حتى الآن. بالاضافة الى كونها واحدة من القلاع الصعبة ضد الهجمات المتكررة للمغول في عام 1228 م بقيادة أريكونيان و الذي لم يستطع احتلالها. تتكون القلعة من ثلاثة أرباع (سارة وتكية وطوبخانة (كانون)). كما يوجد مسجد كبير داخل القلعة مبني على أنقاض كنيسة مدمرة بها حمام قديم. لا يتضح تاريخ القلعة الدقيق لعلماء الآثار على الرغم من أن بعضهم يقول إن تاريخها يعود إلى عام 1775. وتضم القلعة 506 منازل ، خمسة منها مبنية على أساس فني هندسي منظم ومزخرف بأشكال هندسية مختلفة. مثل بيت (هاشم الدباغ الجلبي ، الملا سالم الجلبي ، احمد الجلبي ، الشيخ جميل احمد افندي ، موفق حاجي راشد اغا). في الوقت الحاضر يتم إعادة بناء القلعة على اساس شكلها القديم من حيث المنازل والممرات.

قلعة هولير كوردستان قلعة هولير اقدم مدينة مأهولة في التاريخ بتصنيف من المؤرخين والآثاريين ،يعود تاريخ بناء القلعة الى الألف السادس قبل الميلاد، حيث تم ذكرها في الكتابات السومرية بأسم اربيلم وأربيلا اي مدينة الملوك الاربعة وسميت ايضا ب خورلير اي معبد الشمس ، تحتل القلعة ميئة الف متر مربع وترتفع موقعها عن الارض حوالي ستة وعشرون مترا،في عهد الدولة الآشورية تم توصل ماء الشرب الى داخلها من قبل الملك سنحاريب من نهر بستوره صمدت قلعة هولير امام الغزاة، ففي عام 331 ق م صمدت امام هجوم الاسكندر المقدوني لعدة ايام ،اما في التاريخ الحديث اجهضت حصار هولاكو لها ولأهميتها تم ادراجها من قبل منظمة الامم المتحدة للتربية والعلوم والثقافة(اليونسكو) ضمن التراث العالمي لتكون صرحا ثقافيا و دوليا تحية إلى كوردستان وشعب كوردستان

النافورات في محافظة اربيل وفي القلعة خصوصآ هذا المكان الذي يقصده اكثر الوافدين من خارج المحافظة

مكان تاريخي جميل يحتاج إلى التنظيف وادامة في جميع الاوقات وايضا اى مقاعد شمسيات تغطي المقاعد

مكان جميل و منظر رائع للاستراحة بجانب قلعة اربيل(هەولێر) حيث هناك نافورات المياه و اماكن الاستراحة وسط المطاعم و محلات بيع مختلف السلع من الملابس و الاحذية و الحلويات في قيصيرية اربيل و اي شيء تحتاجه باسعار مناسبة جدا و هناك اطفال يقدمون الشاي و القهوة بين الناس

This is a small square with water fountains that go off periodically. It is very nice and you can get a nice view of it from the Citadel. It is a pretty busy spot but great to walk through. Kids play with the water and you'll find tons of people trying to get selfies and touring the square. On the east side of the square, you can sit down and smoke shisha and/or have some chai and do people-watching. On the west side, you can enter the bazaar and do some shopping and meandering. The area itself is a little bit of a mess... but there are people who clean the area and pick up trash. I just hate knowing how messy people are the night prior... it's pretty disappointing. Parking is kind of a hit or miss... when you come from the south, keep your eyes peeled for a parallel parking opportunity on the right side of the street. (The road bends to the left, so if you don't get anything, choose to park further away or make the loop around the Citadel to try your luck again.) I recommend visiting the Citadel and bazaar as they are so close-by if you are here already. Just be a wary pedestrian... traffic gets busy by 10am.
