Everything served is enjoyable and fresh, but the variety is a bit limited for the price. It would feel even better if they included a slightly wider selection of food items to make the spread more complete and satisfying. Drinks are included in the package, and the iced coffee is a nice touch. It pairs well with the food and feels like enough for the experience, so there’s no need for extra drinks or refills to enjoy it fully. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service is smooth throughout the visit, which helps make the experience comfortable and relaxed. Overall, it’s a good high tea option in Kandy with a beautiful setting, good food, and well managed service. The only real improvement would be adding more food variety, but even as it is, it offers a nice and relaxing experience for the price.

A wonderful hotel with beautiful rooms. The staff is very friendly, and everything is very well-maintained and clean. The pool is lovely, and in the morning it’s often shrouded in mist, which makes it absolutely beautiful. The mist clears up very quickly, though. The food (we had lunch and dinner there) is delicious. The road leading up to it is a bit steep, but the location is fantastic. We had a wonderful time.

We had a lovely time at Fox Kandy. The rooms are spacious and the staff are incredible friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also great - the pizzas are made fresh and they use a really really delicious sauce. My mum said it's the best pizza she's ever had. The hotel is set at the top of a mountain - you need to drive up a long, narrow & windy road to get there, but it is 100% worth it. The view and the setting are gorgeous. Special mentions to Lahiru and Anuradha who work so so hard and go above and beyond for their guests. Thanks so much!!

The beautifully landscaped gardens were a highlight—peaceful, green, and perfect for a leisurely walk. With around 25 rooms, the resort also felt quiet and not overcrowded. The pool area was another favorite spot, offering a lovely view and a great place to unwind. All in all, it was a memorable family trip, and I’d definitely recommend Fox Kandy Resort if you’re looking for a relaxing, pet-friendly escape.

First of all, hats off to the management for keeping Fox Kandy as a pet-friendly resort! Thanks to this, we could bring our little paw-buddy along, which made our stay even more special. Our experience was truly amazing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure comfort. The rooms were beautifully arranged, spotless, and the attached bathroom was clean, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. Being a pet-friendly hotel, extra effort is needed to maintain hygiene, and the staff handled this very well. The food was tasty with a good variety. I personally preferred the à la carte menu over the buffet, and portion sizes were generous. They even offer a pet menu, although our little buddy is a bit picky, so we stuck with her usual food. The gardens were well-maintained, lush, and pleasant to walk through. The resort has around 25 rooms, accommodating roughly 50 guests, with parking for about 10 vehicles. The pool was lovely and offered a great view. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend Fox Kandy Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is absolutely beautiful, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. We stayed for one night, but it is definitely an ideal place for a longer stay. The room service and restaurant staff were very supportive and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The experience was truly worth the money we spent. Being one of the highest points in the Hanthana mountain range, the views are breathtaking—especially in the morning. The infinity pool adds to the charm and makes the stay even more enjoyable. Do note that it’s best to use a suitable vehicle. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic getaway.

Fox Kandy by Fox Resorts is located in a beautiful, peaceful area with great views. The staff were friendly and provided really good customer service throughout our stay. The room was modern, spacious, and exceptionally clean, definitely one of the highlights of our visit. The food was good overall, though there was limited variety. Some dishes, especially the seafood in the set menu, were not very tasty. It would also be better if beverages were included in the set menu instead of having to purchase them separately. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great hospitality and comfortable rooms. With a few improvements to the dining experience, this place could easily be a 5-star stay.

Had a lovely high tea date with my family at Fox Resorts Kandy. The food was an easy 10/10, absolutely delicious and so worth the price, and the surroundings were just as perfect, calm, scenic, and so relaxing. The perfect spot for a relaxed family outing, good conversations, and great food. Would 100% recommend!

My stay at Fox resort, Kandy was truly exceptional, and honestly, the mountain views here are next-level—they’re the kind of views you just can’t capture in a photo! The whole place is super clean and really well-kept, which made the entire premises feel nice and welcoming. Our room was fantastic, too! It had all the modern amenities we needed and was so cozy and relaxing. But let's talk about the staff: they are the best part, hands down! Seriously, every single person was so friendly, nice, and accommodating. Their hospitality was top-tier—they genuinely made us feel valued from check-in to check-out. The meals were buffet-style. I’ll be honest, the variety was a little small, but don't let that stop you because everything we ate was SO good and fresh! If you need a gorgeous spot with great vibes and people who truly care, you have to check this place out!

Sehr steile Anfahrt! Wir sind erst am Abend eingetroffen. Sie haben uns Zimmer 1 zugewiesen, gleich neben dem Speisesaal. Bis 23.30h schepperte es in der Küche und ab 06.00h gings wieder los! Balkon war abgeschlossen und nicht benutzbar, Aussicht vom Fenster direkt an die Hecke des Hotels. Dies ist das schlechteste Hotel auf unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Nie wieder hierher!

Beautiful hilltop hotel, a little remote (ask your driver to take the less steep back road) but offering a wonderful view in the most peaceful environment. Good food and friendly staff. Special mention for the swimming pool and grassy lounge area, perfect to wind down after a day of exploring the region or noisy Kandy!

Wunderschön gelegen, mit wunderschönen Blick über Kandy. Das Essen war sehr gut, ebenso der Service- begeistert hat uns der Infinity Pool. Ca. 15min mit dem Auto von der Innenstadt, die Anfahrt hat sich aufgrund von starkem Regen als abenteuerlich erwiesen und unser driver brauchte mehrere Versuche, den Berg hochzukofahren. Tipp meinerseits: beim check in nach einer zweiten Zimmerkarte fragen, sonst taut der Kühlschrank ab und die Geräte laden nicht auf, wenn man unterwegs ist

It was a quick trip of a one night stay as a stop before the cricket match which was to happen the next day SL Vs Australia. The drive to the hotel was very well guided we didn’t lose our way neither did we waste time we were properly guided. It doesn’t feel as if we’re in Kandy but gives a lot like N’eliya. The room I booked was a basic room which in deed was super basic and had only the very basic amenities which I wouldn’t complain for a one night but could have done a little bit more for the value. The rooms need a little bit more privacy we felt as they’re quite built next to each other. The restaurant area is very well maintained and equipped the foreigners and the only locals we were, were treated really well and I should mention the F&B manager was really impressive he goes way beyond his job which I’ve never seen at anywhere else we’ve been to. That was a very plus point to the hotel. They served all sorts of cuisines and gave a special local cuisine a specialty as well. The small place is allocated fully with rooms I just felt if at all they gave some of their special attention at least to the best view spaces but those have also being sadly blocked with roofs. Overall the staff are very nice and very well trained no complaints and it was a satisfying one night stay I would stay!

The food was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and we received a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is elegant. The staff genuinely care about every guest and go above and beyond to make the stay special. Es un buen hotel aunque para mí no es un hotel de 5 estrellas, lo mismo lo fue, pero mi habitación (que posiblemente era de las más básicas) no se puede valorar de lujosa. Parece una casa colonial con su entrada con columnas, la decoración de su hall con el piano. Lo mejor son las vistas, mires, donde mires, ves vegetación, grandes árboles y casas señoriales. Los jardines están muy bien cuidados, rodean la zona de la habitaciones y están impecablemente mantenidos, la zona de las tumbonas de la piscina no es muy grande pero está perfecta y la piscina desbordante en altura hace que disfrutes aún más de la vistas del entorno. La comida está bien, cené allí a la carta, tras insistir un poco, ya que no quería cenar buffet que es lo tenían. El desayuno también fue de buffet. Del restaurante también opino que no es un 5 estrellas, para mí faltaba calidad y variedad. Mi habitación era una básica, con un colchón algo hundido y de amenities en el lavabo había una pastilla de jabón para las manos, por lo que insisto de nuevo con el tema de la calificación hotelera. El hotel está es un terreno peculiar, por lo que hay rampas para bordear la piscina y muchas escaleras para acceder a varias zonas, tenerlo en cuenta personas de movilidad reducida. La zona del hotel tiene la parte buena de las vistas, pero está alejada del centro y realmente para llegar al hotel hay que ir por zonas muy empinadas, puntualmente de difícil circulación.

We stayed at Fox Kandy for our wedding anniversary, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Yashan, a wonderful housekeeping staff member, together with his manager Ravendra, did a tremendous job decorating our room so beautifully for our special day. Suresh, the humble and friendly receptionist, warmly guided us to our room and made us feel right at home. Vasanth, one of the managers, surprised us with a lovely candlelight dinner arrangement. Fox Kandy is truly one of the most wonderful places we’ve ever been to in Sri Lanka. 💖✨
