I received the worst service and haircut of my life by Francis herself. First of all, Francis was 30 minutes late for my appointment. This would have been fine if someone had spoken to me when I first arrived or even after a few minutes to let me know that she was running late. Instead she was in the salon and just let me sit there for half an hour before coming to speak to me. Fine. I got the color applied to my hair and I am very happy with how that turned out, although it’s extremely hard to mess up a single color processing - but let’s give it to her. However, the haircut that I received is the worst haircut Ive ever gotten in my life. Keep in mind the reference photos I showed her of what I wanted were of ME. They were photos of me with the exact haircut I asked for done by different stylists in the past (photo #1). I asked for a trim and to just make the ends healthy. I said the maximum I would be fine with is 2 inches. Francis did not give me a trim - she gave me a haircut and charged me for it, which I did NOT ask for. I made this clear when messaging the salon prior to the appointment and I said this to her when she asked me what I wanted to do to my hair as well. I already had face framing layers in the front and back was straight (photo #2). All I wanted was to touch up the framing and I specifically said I want the shortest piece of layers to be at the bottom of my chin. When Francis cut the front she cut a whole thick section of my hair in the front - WHY, I don’t know. She asked me if I wanted to keep the front section thick and I said it was fine because I did not want it to be shorter and it was already extremely short in the front. My face framing layers were gone. And she continued to keep cutting and then she picked up a front piece and said to me “This is going to be very short when you wash it - sorry!” The way she said this was extremely condescending and fake - she was not apologetic at all. She was also cutting off the front pieces while not even LOOKING at me or the mirror - she turned around and was having a conversation with someone while making blunt cunts which I’m assuming is how I got the choppy layers. She cut my hair while it was dry which meant it was even shorter when I washed it. Please see the last two photos. What’s even worse is when I went to checkout, the total was 150 KD? For what? for taking 3 hours for a “trim” and one color processing, and then to have half my hair cut with an awful styling? I was told I would get charged 80KD for a trim, the total should have been around 100KD with the treatment I got. I sent a message to her afterwards letting her know how disappointed I was and her response was extremely unsympathetic and she didn’t even address how she made a made a mistake doing my haircut even though she was completely aware of how she messed up while in the process. I don’t understand how a “professional” hairstylist can mess up one of the most basic haircuts. Ridiculous price for an awful service. I do NOT recommend this salon.
