GALA Restaurant

I recently visited Gala Restaurant in Abu Dhabi, and it turned out to be a wonderful dining experience. The ambience is elegant yet cozy, and the seating is really comfortable — perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The food was excellent — world-class presentation and delicious taste. What I liked most was the variety on the menu. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, all thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can choose between the à la carte menu for a regular meal or the Semplor menu if you’re in the mood to try multiple dishes or new flavors. The location is convenient and there’s ample paid parking, so no stress about finding a spot. Overall, Gala Restaurant is a great place to enjoy good food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere — definitely worth visiting again.

Claiming that it’s Indian gourmet, Thai curry doesn’t belong there. As soon as you enter it does give you that restaurant vibe and you’re treated with a basket of crackers and a mango sphere. Unfortunately the membrane on the sphere was thick and the rose liquid lacked the flavour. The red dragon was good but not wow. Their lamb chops were super tender but had too many bones to pick in it, it also had a bitter after taste. Jhol momos tasted nice but were not jhol momos at all. The jhol achar was thickened with cornflour which is a big no. Chole bhature taco was just a bhature cut out in rounds and topped with chole but at the end taste matters and they tasted nice. Amazing restaurant!!!! We had such a fantastic experience and the food and service was 5 star! Tamang was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and menu which made the experience so great (and super friendly). For example, knowledge of which dishes had similar ingredients and made recommendations based on this. Also as vegans, he fully understood the ingredients and how to customise dishes for us. I can’t say enough of how delicious the food is. Creative, fresh ingredients, unique and awesome presentation. Honestly I could go on forever so just go and experience it for yourself. And non vegans enjoyed too! Can’t wait to return :)

Very good Indian restaurant. Service and presentation felt high end but the prices are very affordable for this level of quality. This could possibly be the best indian restaurant in Abu Dhabi but I need to try more dishes before making that conclusion. A modern Indian Restaurant providing great fusion Indian dishes. They have great and alluring options like the Gulab Jamun Churros, Rasmalai Tres Leches and lot of global inspired indian speciality dishes and desserts. The taste is rich and full of amazing flavours, providing real pleasure to all of one’s five senses. The presentation is just too captivating and will be sure to mesmerize you! Really love the creativity and innovation they’re putting in for the items in the menu! 100% worth giving a shot if you’re in Abu Dhabi and looking for some amazing Indian food with a touch of global flavours.

Excellent vegetarian lunch at Gala Restaurant! The food was beautifully balanced in flavour—nothing was too heavy or overpowering. A truly great meal from start to finish. Highly recommended for vegetarians and anyone who appreciates delicious food.

We sampled the supper club in Gala tonight, trying both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus and were totally blown away by the presentation, variety and attention to detail in every course. We were really well fed and service has been amazing throughout. It felt like an education in all of the dishes and wide variety of food served. Mocktails were served to complement dishes and desserts were too yummy to resist even after 15 courses!

Very nice food, authentic in hotel style, taste is great, presentation is great, service is genuine, all waiters are welcoming and at your service, I will definitely come. Surrendra our host was so great and helpful.

Had a wonderful experience at Gala Restaurant, Abu Dhabi! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the fusion cuisine was truly impressive. We especially loved the crispy nadru with garlic butter — such a unique and delicious twist! The mango panna was refreshing, and the bomb dahi puri was bursting with flavor. Gala Restaurant in Abu Dhabi is a fantastic spot for Indian cuisine with a modern twist. They have a lot of fusion Indian options, which I absolutely love, and everything we tried was full of flavour. The gulab jamun churros are to die for a must-try! The ambience is elegant and welcoming, and a special mention to Balwant for his warm hospitality and excellent service. Highly recommended.

From the starters to the desserts, everything was beautifully presented and full of character. The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. You can tell there's real passion behind what they do, both in the kitchen and in the service. Good food with lots of variety. Nice options for vegetarians too. We had the Thali and it was wonderful. We were well taken care of by Surendra.

Gala is an Indian fine dining restaurant serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Yes, it has included non-vegetarian in the menu. The place gives a comfortable feel to unwind and relax. The interior and lighting is vibrant and rich. We ordered Crispy Nadroo in starter and Thai green curry with steamed rice. The food was delicious and fresh ingredients were used in the making. It was a pleasant experience and would visit again to explore more.

Had a very pleasant lunch at GALA Restaurant. The service was great and our waiter was very welcoming. He explained all the dishes thoroughly and told us about the bestsellers. The service was quick and the dishes were simply perfect. The presentation was amazing!! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian food and enjoys a quiet atmosphere.

We loved this new Vegetarian Indian addition. The flavors are very creative & the staff is also very accommodating. We had a few appetizers and the portions were very generous. We didn’t have room for the mains so we will gladly have to return. 😋

Really tasty food and generous portions. We ordered the dragon Bhel, Bhindi Jaipuri, black dal, chicken tikka masala, jeera rice, garlic nan and a lassi. Everything was really tasty. I’m veggie and there were lots of veggie options and a lot of things that could be made vegan too. My partner also enjoyed the non-vegetarian options. Price was very good for generous portions.
