Most authentic taste and one of the oldest restaurants, serving delicious food since 1932. This Persian restaurant truly lives up to its legacy. We ordered Chicken Tandoor, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chicken Biryani, and every dish was impressive. The chicken was perfectly cooked and grilled, remaining juicy and flavorful. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a rich, creamy texture with a well-balanced blend of spices. The Chicken Biryani was aromatic, flavorful. The service was also excellent, If you're a non-vegetarian food lover looking for authentic flavors and a restaurant with a rich history, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Had dinner at George Restaurant, Camp, and it was an experience worth remembering. Serving food lovers since 1936, George is truly a Pune institution that has stood the test of time. We tried their famous Chicken Rotisserie and the Special Mutton Biryani. The biryani was absolutely delicious and refreshingly different from the usual versions found elsewhere. Absolute Breakfast Heaven in Camp! If you haven't been to George for an early morning breakfast yet, you are seriously missing out on a classic Pune experience. While their biryanis always steal the spotlight later in the day, their morning menu is an absolute hidden gem. The star of the show is hands-down the Chicken Kheema Pav. Went again after decades and still the same good taste. Not extra masala not too oil. Good food good portions and great taste. Dalcha, Biryani, Chops, rotisserie etc so many excellent dishes. Be prepared to wait on weekends. Its a repeatable place.

I had a scrumptious dinner here at George's Restaurant. I ordered two chicken starters whose recipe is undisclosed and I ordered their must have biryani as well. The food, along with excellent and prompt service, and the ambience was just classy. What was also fascinating is the fact that this restaurant has been operating for ninety years now, having been founded in 1936. An indispensable part of the gastronomic scene in Pune, a pure authentic taste is something that you'll veritably get when you visit George's Restaurant. I highly recommend George's Restaurant for what is not just a delicious but a truly legendary taste.

Purchased mutton biriyani tandoori roti and chicken curry. Chicken curry tasted good with the chewy tandoori roti and the biriyani dripping oil had no aroma but a few mutton pieces with lots of bones!

The best tandoori prawns I have ever had. George's is a milestone of Pune culinary history and it showed. The hospitality was great, very helpful and cheerful staff . They recommend us the right dishes. The dal gosht was excellent, the prawns were just superb, the chicken jeujeu was very tasty and soft, though we didn't have it with the complimentary rice. A must visit for non-veg lovers and I would like to especially mention Wheelchair accessibility and a management that is supportive of differently -abled customers.

Authentic Butter Chicken is sweet but they are serving in different style so I don't like that and service was good , parking for 2 wheeler is very accessible. Somehow on expensive side but ok . Expenses for 2 - 800

The food was absolutely yummy, the tandoori chicken was correctly cooked and tender. Butter chicken with naam was so good. And lastly mango cream. Fabb I'm definitely going again.

This is the most rude and ill mannered person in this restaurant. He doesnot know how to take order from customers, Makes you feel like leaving the place. Management please teach this person some manners. Otherwise we love visiting this restaurant. The two old person everytime we go are so polite. They value the customers and know how to handle a hospitality business. I hope the management takes an action against this person. As he is really ruining the whole experience of old customers. And because of this person we dont feel like visiting now but end up visiting because of good food.

I spent half hour removing the oil, last time ordering, now no more! They should have brains on how much oil to be added! Pretty damn sure this is not a good oil, just regular refined oil!!! Hate this restaurant now!!!!!

Taste was not as good as I expected. I ordered biryani here, and they gave me many large pieces, but I couldn’t eat them because they had no taste. It’s not worth it compared to other biryanis.

A proper 5⭐ dining experience. Pros: 1. Ambience: Cool, calm, aesthetic to be fair. Great for Insta feed. 2. Staff, management: The behaviour of the staff is polite and friendly. 3. Food presentation: Again, aesthetic and great for Stories. 4. Washbasins and restroom: Neat and clean area, well maintained. 5. Recommended for families. Cons: 1. You could say the quality of the food is not as tasty as compared to the high prices. I blame inflation. Cost is slightly higher. However, this restaurant does give a proper dining experience with everything you wish for. Hence, a 5⭐ is well deserved. Must try.

Ordered chicken tikka masala, butter naan and chicken biryani Chicken tikka masala was nice. Naan was fluffy and a full one unlike other restaurants where it's cut in triangles. Chicken biryani i did not like much. Rice was not flavourful, Masala was bit underwhelming. Chicken was nice and tender, well marinated well cooked, Flavour was a bit off tho for me.

One of the oldest restaurants in the East Street - Mains Street intersection, started way back during the colonial period in1936 - it has been dishing out unforgettable culinary experiences to localities and tourists alike. It's multicuisine - iranian, mughlai, chinese . But must try the mughlai and iranian for they are authentic and delightfully tasty. The biryani is it's usp and so are they kebabs . The tangri kebab is awesome . The naans are also soft and sumptuous . It's very reasonable when you feel the class of food served. The interiors in the upstairs have been newly laid out and it's bright and sparkling. A great family restaurant indeed

Amazing food and good service. We ordered chicken tikka, butter chicken and roti. One of the best restaurants in pune for non veg lovers. Valet parking available.
