Georgia Islamic Institute is a peaceful, welcoming place for learning and spiritual growth. The teachers are kind, knowledgeable, and truly care about the students. The atmosphere is respectful and focused on authentic Islamic values. A great environment for kids and families. Highly recommend for anyone seeking quality Islamic education.

The place is phenomenal. It’s very clean really nice and such a good community. The teachers are very well Educated and very caring. If you’re in the Lawrenceville area and you’re looking for Islamic community to be a part of you have to try this one!

The summer program was very good with more than qualified scholars who teach Quran at an exceptional high level. This masjids curriculums soars above expectation and has nice, peaceful brothers which make the environment nice to be in.

Allahhumma barik, a great masjid with knowledgeable and friendly teachers/imams, plenty of space for salah, a tolerance for other madhahib and views, and a many brothers who will give you salam as if you’re blood related. This is the place to go if you want to be with the community, do your salah, or ask the learned questions that you may have. The Islamic education programs are great for getting a grasp on both the basics and inner depths of the deen. Alhmdullilah this is the masjid I’ve grown up in.

I was there at 21 December, 2024 for 10 days jamat. That was the 1st masjid of this journey.

Called requesting help and advice from the iman who answered the phone (but didn't identify himself until I asked). He said, "no we don't do that" and rudely hung up the phone. Why not? Are you a masjid for the local community or not? Would I want to worship there and pray behind that person"? No!

Absolutely blessed environment! The founder and his entire family always puts unconditional efforts to educate our kids and have various classes and Islamic programs/ events through each year! So proud to be part of this community!

Its a great masjid/mosque for people living in Lawrenceville area, Sheikh/Imam is very knowledgeable and easy to approach. His sons (usually leads Friday prayers) are also very friendly. Jumma prayers are late almost every week which cause problem to people who has to go back to work. Parking is also another issue due to growing number of Muslim community. Masjid/Mosque should be under control of BOD for transparency and better management. Over the years sheikh build lots of property around/off property which raises a lot of questions.

This place is not family friendly at all. They were very rude to my husband and my kids when he took them to Friday prayer. He left feeling upset and unwelcome. How sad because this mosque is nearby for my family and I. We will look elsewhere for a better experience.

This makes me very sad… I have just relocated to the area from Augusta ga. I am looking for a new masjid to start a new community. I went to the website to find out jummah times etc and it was not clearly listed. I called the number for more information. I was met with one the rudest individuals I have ever encountered that is suppose to be a representative of the mosque. When I told him was looking for and he said check the website and before I could respond he accuses of me calling every week with the same question. (I have not my first ever time calling..) and before I could set the record straight he accused me of being a liar. If this how a representative decides to act with their supposedly fellow brothers and sister he is a very very poor representation of it. It was unwelcoming, it was falsely accusatory (for no reason at all) and they have made a brother looking for a new home sick to his stomach that his own community would treat them this way. This individual maybe having a bad day but his actions and words were not excusable. I really hope for the future the board will be able pick much more affable individual to represent them. I will keep looking for a new masjid even if double the distance that will treat individuals like brothers and sisters. Please for the community sake do better

The jumma prayer never starts on time here there is absolutely no sense on punctuality. Probably one of the least social masjids I've ever been to. No family activities and this place is not community oriented in the least bit. They also bought a 7 bed 4 bath 4100 sqft house for 630k for their family and trying to justify the purchase as a new Islamic Center where a storage building (large garage) will be utilized to pray etc...Thats not an Islamic Center or even a Masjid, thats a house you bought for personal use with public's donations? People here really need to ask the Imam and his sons of transparency in their Masjid finances asap. They need an audit. There are way better Masjids out there, I tend to avoid this one as much as I can.

Very nice masjid with ample parking and two big buildings. Smaller building is for daily salaat and bigger building is for jumma and programs. Imam and family are very knowledgeable and welcoming and many programs are hosted here that are beneficial for you and the family.

Mashallah spirituality starts from the place where you feel your self close to Allah I love this masjid Allah give us tawfeeq to attend all prayers

Can’t understand Friday khutbah when molvi sahib speaks and how can you not ever start Friday prayers on time having FOUR imams in a single masjid! Like another person mentioned it’s very suspicious how they just purchased a 600k+ house and justifying it as an Islamic Center….yea no actual Islamic Center has the imams families occupying it or being used for personal use. There seriously needs to be a system of financial accountability and checks and balances regarding how and where the public’s donations are being spent. But I noticed people here are sheepish and no one questions them.

Very nice programs for the youth, regularly cleaned, Has a helping community.

As a Muslim from afar, this place is like back home. Wonderful people, great scholars, conducive atmosphere/environment. Nice place to worship regardless of your origin. If you got any questions there are listening ears to provide you with the best answer or refer you to the best person to answer your questions.

This is a great masjid. Iman and everyone welcomed our group as we visited from Tampa. Facilities were super clean, ample parking lot and above all Jomoa khutba was very satisfying.

Alhamdulillah, a very beautiful mosque, very good community, imaan and his sons are very helpful and cooperative, I like them, I like to go to this mosque.

This is a very big mosque and a lot of people can pray together here. So far the parking was never the issue since the last 6 years. I used to be here almost 7 to 8 years of prayer.
