The management is rude and unhelpful, and there is a clear lack of care for residents’ comfort and well-being. Residential tenants are treated as a lower priority compared to commercial tenants — especially when it comes to parking, which is overly controlled and inconveniently assigned while offices are given priority. You are only given one parking and management unnecessarily restricts access to the building doors for the benefit of commercial tenants.
There are also serious maintenance issues. We had mold in the kitchen that took 5 months to fix, simply because management claimed it was too expensive. There is also a persistent disgusting odor in the bathroom that has still not been properly resolved. On top of this, the AC doesn’t cool properly in the kitchen and it gets very hot very fast while cooking.
The biggest issue, however, is the noise. There are constant disturbances from nearby construction and a hotel with a club that blasts music late into the night — sometimes until 5 AM. You can also hear the drunken people yelling and fighting all night long, as well as cars honking non stop. We were never informed about this before renting. Despite multiple complaints, nothing has been properly handled. The management claims to have raised the issue however the disturbance continues daily.
To make matters worse, there are hidden costs, such as a high and separate AC bill that was not clearly disclosed upfront.
On top of that, cooking smells from neighboring units come through the AC into the bedroom, making the entire apartment smell due to the lack of separate systems.
You are also forced to have a contract only with Oreedo and the internet is the slowest you’ll ever experience.
Overall, this place is a scam and lacks transparency, proper management, and basic consideration for residents. What should be a comfortable living environment has instead become a constant source of stress.
I would strongly advise anyone considering renting here to think twice.
