On January 2026 stay at Ginger Hotel Kalamassery was excellent. Its location right on the national highway and a short walk from the CUSAT Metro Station made commuting effortless. The rooms were modern and spotless, and the rooftop pool provided a great escape with city views. With professional staff and a seamless check-in, it’s a top-tier choice for a reliable stay in Kochi."

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights from 18 to 22 Oct 2025 It was one of our best vacations in Kochi my family went two and three kids really enjoyed every day we spent in Ginger Kalamassary hotel Staff is very nice very hospital and very helpful. Mr Aryan Shankar during our breakfast really made us feel comfortable with always smiling and doing what is required. Thank you Aryan your presence made our stay in Ginger more enjoyable and comfortable. Overall a very nice hotel and very good for families and otherwise. Only TWO concerns which are required to be addressed. 1. The bathroom exhaust fan power is very low. 2. We were in a Suite room which had a living room and a bedroom both had separate TVs and A/cs but there was only ONE remote which was not practical.

This hotel is not appropriate to the standard as it’s shown in its website. It lack many basic features. The reception itself ,the staff are not trained as per standard. Food are cold and either too salty or no salt at all. One morning idly was not completely cooked. There is a single soap in the bathroom , no glass door for bathing area, water is splashing into the dry area, switches are very basic and need to find out the right one , furniture are very basic and uncomfortable. Pillows are not at all thick , very much squeezed. Dust bin is open one , no doors in wardrobe, The restaurant manager do not agree to the mistake. The ground staff are very polite and good but over all experience is too bad. The furniture and its edges are all very basic and do not provide comfort. It was a very disgusting experience for me to take my family there as I was responsible for choosing the hotel for our new year beginning. I will never recommend any one to go with this hotel chain.

Very cozy, and well maintained rooms. The staffs were really sweet. Aswanth was awesome with what he does, made us feel at home and always welcomed with a warm smile. And the food!!! yumm- the honey chicken and fried rice was delicious. loved it.

Best place to stay or rest in Ernakulam. Staffs were unbelievably so helpful and kind. A hotel with a good parking slot too. The F&B manager helped us a lot there. Gym was perfect with all the needed equipments and swimming pool was so clean to see buy didn’t have much time to jump in. Overall I would suggest this to my family and friends.

This property is absolutely awful and not worth the money. I’ve stayed in other branded hotels across the country, but this one is simply dreadful. The toilet lacks proper ventilation, has a split ac instead of centralised ac and makes noise like some engine is running. The towels and toiletries are given as if guests are on a budget. I’m definitely not returning.

I stayed at the Ginger Hotel from Nov-26-2025 to Nov-29-2025 after arriving to Kochi Kerala after three days of flying. My stay was exceptional. I'll start with the food, there was a wide variety of options to choose from for both breakfast and dinner. All of which were extremely delicious. The staff at the restaurant were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job daily. The staff at reception and the man who assisted with the luggage were also pleasant and helpful. The rooftop pool was well maintained. As far as pricing goes, I don't have much to compare it to since that was the only Hotel I stayed at in Kochi but I do know I can get similar quality for less in other places. With all things considered I highly recommend Ginger Kochi, Kalamassery.

Everything is good here. I stayed for 5 nights. Their breakfast buffer is great. Beside metro station so travel made easy.

I had a wonderful stay for a week. It's a clean and a pleasant stay. Tidy rooms , pools and everything especially Gln aryan kindness truly stood out—he went the extra mile to personally ensure my dietary needs were met, showing genuine care and thoughtful attention throughout the visit.

e service at this hotel is extremely poor. The reception staff often do not pick up the phone when you call to check about any service, which appears to be intentional. When I asked for basic amenities like an iron and a hair dryer, I was told they have only a limited number and cannot provide them on request everyone .. Overall, the staff behavior was quite rude and unhelpful, which made the stay very unpleasant.

Stayed at Ginger Kalamassery recently and honestly had a good experience. Very convenient location near the metro, so getting around Kochi was easy. Rooms were clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but well maintained.

Hv been a Taj customer for 20 years, choose Taj even when it’s slightly expensive. This place was a let down. Pool was not clean, water was stagnant. Service was pathetic, ordered room service - it was served after 40 mins! The rooms had plastic water bottles, which I think in this day n age is sustainability is a big no! I would not stay at another ginger property after this. All cutlery was plastic… it was not tajness…

Had really worst experience from the moment we entered this hotel. The reception staff was not at all polite. No hospitality at all. He didn’t even smile. This is not the behaviour we expect from a 4 star rated hotel staff. Moreover, the AC was not working. We came after a tiring journey, paid a huge amount and couldn’t even sleep properly. Not recommended. I had good trust on the brand but this one branch ruined it forever

The quality of food especially that served in dinner is not something expected from a 3 star hotel. The Service is also average. The price they are charging is not justified

Such a bad service. Mr. Subash at reception showed so much attitude that he doesn't have courtesy to ensure right customer service. Hotel is not in support of customer. Should not prefer Be aware before booking. Not at all recommended

Highly disappointed. We had a corporate dinner here, and the food quality was terrible. It seemed old and resulted in food poisoning for several of us. I was seriously affected. This is a serious health concern. Would not recommend.

I recently stayed at Taj Ginger Hotel, Ernakulam for three nights and four days, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. When we requested an extra bed, it was arranged immediately without any delay, which truly reflected their commitment to guest comfort. The room service was fabulous—quick, efficient, and always on point. The restaurant food was another highlight, offering delicious meals with excellent variety. On the first day, we shared a small feedback regarding one of the dishes being delayed, and to my surprise, both the restaurant manager and the chef personally addressed it. From the very next day onwards, the service was seamless and even more impressive. This proactive approach left a lasting impression on us. Another advantage of this property is its prime location, just steps away from the Metro Station, making travel to nearby places very convenient. Additionally, the basement covered parking ensured our vehicle was safe, which added peace of mind. Overall, I would rate this stay a perfect 10/10 without hesitation. It’s a hotel that not only meets expectations but goes above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. I will definitely be returning to Ginger Ernakulam for my next trip and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are polite and helpful, making the stay pleasant. Buffet and breakfast options are somewhat limited, but they are reasonable for budget travelers. There was no live counter during my visit, but apart from that, everything else was perfect.
