This place took me back to the 90s ! When we’d come for holidays and stumble upon restaurants and bars like this place. And must I add, the food did not disappoint. The only disappointment was the unavailability of beef croquettes on that day 😜 We ordered : Squids Rechado : Uff, pure nostalgia. That vinegar in the masala literally takes me back to childhood. As a kid I never appreciated the smell and taste of the vinegar, but as an adult, it comforts me! A lovely rechado , squids cooked exceptionally well. I’ve gone to countless restaurants, big and small, but have never had squids this tender, it was melting in my mouth! Fish Cutlets: Fish cutlets are a labour intensive work especially when it comes to deboning the fish! You’ll always a find a thorn or so in fish cutlets which can be an unpleasant experience. But, not here! In all the fish cutlets we took, we never found a thorn once. The cutlets were crispy, sour, salty and sweet at once. Perfectly balanced and what a brilliant dish! Lepo Rawa Fry, Chicken Lollypop, Sausage Chilly Fry, Beef Chilly Fry: All of it was good! If you want homely food, with zero ambience, and a true Goa feel, then come here without second guessing ! Lovely real goan food served here! For the best real local Goan dishes in Reis Magos fort area you come here! Went out with family and we enjoyed to our hearts content. We order pork, beef and seafood dishes all prepared in time and very tasty as made at a Goan home. They serve veg and non-veg dishes, Goan, continental, and some Indian dish are mentioned in the menu. Pricing is reasonable and affordable! A family run bar & restaurant ....father son duo. They accept payments by UPI and cash. Parking here in front of this restaurant is a big challenge as it's suitated right on the narrow main road towards Reis Magos fort & church. You will find ample parking space along the roadside alilttle ahead. I highly recommend this traditional Goan bar & restaurant.

Really loved this place.. Though the ambience / Decor needs a huge amount of work.. This old little restaurant /bar serves good food and service.

Worst experience. We ordered Bangda fry, but sth else was served, which was not even cooked properly. Even the Chicken Noodles and Fried rice were pathetic.

A typical Goan Tavern with outdoor sitting and live football screenings... They also have pool table and darts open for the customers to play and enjoy.. the food is average.. but the prices are less too.. so considering pocket friendlyness this place definitely deserves 3 stars. A perfect place for a spending precious time with college or office friends.cheers..

Not too good because there is a lots of thing in menu but few dishes are available at the time. Overall good for a quick bite

One of those places where I like to unwind after a busy day. They serve some good pork and beef dishes. The beef chilly, the tongue roast and the goan sausage beef chilly with the grilled bread would be my recommendation. Their fish dishes are also very good. The cashew feni here is of excellent quality.

I had an extremely horrible experience. There were multiple people in the kitchen drinking and talking & they kept us waiting for our order. Moreover, In lemon soda, they added water and the rice in fried rice was undercooked.

It is a legacy bar and a popular hangout among locals and late nighters. It has apool table and a big screen usually playing football matches. Food is great and drinks are reasonably priced ! Overall chilled out vibes..

Good local food with nice music, super chilled beers, awesome feni, clean toilets and what more can one ask for..... oh yes a pool table also

If you haven't been here you can be forgiven as it is hidden away is a real local town. What you can't be forgiven for is not trying it now you know about it 😁 Get a cab/tuk tuk and see a lovely, friendly local bar. The prices are really good and the Butter chicken is a personal favourite. I believe they actually supply food for the Goa Fishing Adventures team and customers.

Goan Nook restaurant is nicely tucked away in a nook, right in the middle of busy Verem junction. The restaurant has nice interiors and tastefully designed. A friend of mine lives close by and we decided to try out the place. The menu was nice and we could order quite a bit. The chicken cafreal is superb, lip smacking good. I've also tried the chicken golden fry, which was perfect and tasty. Nice choice of sauces and presentation. Also tried the chicken manchurian along with some chilled Carlsberg smooth. All the dishes we ordered were really good. Service was prompt and the owner was playing some nice Goan Konkani songs, which added to the vibe.

Homely atmosphere. The owner Sydney too, is very accommodating. They have a pool table here, so with your drinks and grub, you can play and enjoy yourselves. 👍🏼

Chonak was old so we told the staff and they took it off the bill. Everything else was tasty & fresh. Tried beef items as well on my earlier visit, prepared well with great flavour.

Good food...Extra fresh fish... Great value for money. Good house brews of Urak and Feni. Ambience is a typical Goan village-house like and the host is very friendly.

Nice place to chill out and have a chat with friends over some beer and snacks. Lots of fish dishes available. Has a pool table too. Will definitely revisit.
