The poorest service! This man at the counter said they won’t screen the movie until there was 7 people watching. We waited and then decided to buy all 7 tickets if no one bought it so we informed him that exactly. When we later when to buy the tickets. He said oh you are too late. We told him ohh we don’t mind if you skip first five minutes of the movie but said nope he would have to answer the manager. He literally didn’t inform us about this whole thing when we went to tell him that we would buy 7 tickets. He clearly just didn’t want to do his Job and close down early. Honestly what a waste of time and money!!!

Does have the option for 3D movies but for god's sake don't view them settle down for the 2D ones the glasses are really disgusting went to view Avatar: Fire and Ash and got an eye infection because of the poorly handled and unsanitized 3D glasses so be safe and if you are gonna go carry alcohol wipes with you and clean the glasses first but won't recommend going to watch movies in this unhygienic place.

nothing special here. same expensive food, and tickets as any other multiplex. 400 rupees per seat as of 2026. 300+ rupees for popcorn.

I had misplaced my ATM card during my visit, but the staff at Gold Cinema were extremely helpful and cooperative. They assisted me calmly and respectfully until I found it. Really appreciate their support and kind behaviour. Thank you for the great service! 🙏

Visited Gold Plex Cinema recently. The overall experience was okay, but the picture and sound quality in the theater could definitely be improved. The visuals weren’t very clear and the audio lacked sharpness, which affected the movie experience. I hope the management looks into upgrading the systems, as the place has good potential to offer a much better experience.

Our show was booked for 11:30am but when we arrived at 11am, we were told that the show is cancelled & we were asked to come for the 12:45pm show. Once we arrived for the show we were asked to sit on different seats than what we had chosen while booking. The floor carpet wasn't cleaned, there were tissues, straws on the floor & there was popcorn on the seats. The Hindi subtitles for Kantara were so small on the screen guess ppl have to bring binoculars to read. Even the sound quality was not to a great mark as some words wasn't clearly heard(this for all the 5 of us).

Went in to see Dr Strange on our trip to dharamshala. Online bookings are available on bookmyshow for movies. The movie theater was well maintained. But be early for your movie as they start on time. Meaning they don't play advertisements at start of the movie, so when the timing say they start at 6 they start at 6.

I'm very disappointed to see that sometimes they don't offer 2D versions for some of the movies. Not everybody prefers the 3D version & definitely not me. Latest example: Deadpool & Wolverine (Only 3D was available & we had no choice but to watch that or not watch it at all)

The 2-D experience here is fantastic with superb sound quality. However, the seating could be better. Avoid 3-D movies—the goggles are uncomfortable and make it hard to watch properly. I had to leave halfway through. Stick to 2-D for a great experience!

Quite impressive for a hilly place. Seating capacity is much higher than its actual space. Very small seats and not comfortable too. If I comfort my seat to forward then my knees touch the front person's head which is not so good. It's hard to cross co-watchers as space between crossing into rows is very less. Narrow space to cross into rows. The sound quality is cool. Screen quality is dark a little bit .. night scenes are darker than the original. Not so proper lights in the cinema hall. Canteen prices are fine. In full movie timing, people use flashlights of their phones without any reason( it's not a gold cinema issue but still a review for today's movie show of Street 2 )

I have watched new Captain America movie a day before but 3D experience ruined it . There is this some glitches in action scenes which i first thought it was only me but other audiences also experienced it. Many months ago i watched both PS1 and PS2. PS1 screen quality was like 480p or at the best 720p i swear and i am not exaggerating . since i am fan of Mani ratnam and ARR, i went to watch PS2 with horrible experience in mind earlier but PS2 screen quality turns out wonderful, Thank god. let me also say this there is a lady and male staff down there who check tickets and things before letting entry in the theater. She is so rude to the customer. she nearly scolded us for coming 20 minutes earlier but a male staff was so gentle and explain us well.

The 3D experience is not good at all. It ruins every movie. I had to deliberately skip many good movies because it was only available in 3D. Besides that, it's good. An upgrade is needed to fully provide the customers a good 3D experience and if not, then 2D is more than enough. Everything is perfect except the 3d issue.

Do not watch 3d movies as the theatre is not equipped hence its a disastrous experience. 3D movie action scenes had lag. Don't eat Samosas, are stale. Tried it twice, left it due to stale smell, can potentially cause stomach infection. Screen 1 needs deep cleaning, damp smell is a turn off. Sound is very high for small screen 1. Spoils the entire experience. Kindly reduce it.

Watched MI The Final Reckoning and dude it was an overall good experience. The quality and screen size are decent to enjoy movies . And it's the only choice of cinema if you want to watch English Movies in this locality so go for it.

Gold Multiplex Cinema provides a decent movie experience with comfortable seating and a good film selection. The picture and sound quality are decent. However, the 3D movie options are not up to par, making it difficult to enjoy any 3D movie. Overall It’s a reliable spot for a movie night as long as it's 2D, but there's room for improvement in food and entertainment choices.

What is the point of opening a whole damn theatre when you won't publish good and trending movies......only publishing weird movies and almost no one watches So sorry but every movie that is trending or is in hype this theatre never releases it.

Very bad experience with BookMyShow while booking tickets for Gold Cinema, Dharamshala. I tried three times to book my tickets, and each time the payment was deducted from my account, but the booking failed without any confirmation. No help or resolution provided yet🙏
