Simple rooms , clean and comfy at affordable prices. The location is very good and food is also nice. Roof top restaurant is an added advantage and restaurant ambience is great. Toiletries were not provided and daily housekeeping not available.

Before we arrived Naresh and Ravi were in touch organising our transportation to Hampi so we knew that our stay was in good hands. The guesthouse is very comfortable and lots of options where to sit, eat or relax. Plentiful hot water for the shower. The food is fantastic, especially the banana flower curry! Lots of choices of cuisines available on the menu. Ravi was excellent in listening to what we wanted to do whilst in Hampi and advised on a tour to meet our specific requirements (at a very reasonable cost). The tour was fantastic and just the right amount of flexibility. We recommend the Monkey Temple and it’s 575 steps! The location is very central and perfect for walking to the temples. Really good WiFi as well to plan your itinerary. At the end of our stay they arranged transportation to Hospet Junction for the overnight train to Chennai. We would 100% recommend Gopi Guesthouse.

I spent two nights at the Gopi Guest House, checking out March 19. If I could make wish, it would be that all Guest Houses would have as endearing a staff as what I experienced at the Gopi. The owners are on the premises at all times. The owners are four brothers and Mother, who treat their staff like extended family...along with their guests. The rooms are extremely clean, which is a big deal when traveling to a small city in India. The rooms have A/C and the wifi is really good too. I took most meals here unless I was out with my driver checking out the historical sites. The food is fantastic 😋 Everything is priced quite reasonable. The ambiance is a constant stream of smiles and willingness to help you in any way. If you are traveling to India in order to immerse yourself in the deep history, or you are taking time off from the rest of the world, please consider Hampi in Southern India. Staying at the open arms of Gopi Guest House will complete the picture. Highly appreciated and recommended.

Guesthouse familiale très sympa, attentive aux besoins des clients. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. La nourriture du restaurant est très bonne. L'emplacement est top, dans le vieux Hampi. Je recommande

L'accueil est chaleureux, l'équipe familiale est au top. Nous avons choisi une chambre sans A/C mais avec ventilateur. Ainsi nous sommes dans un bâtiment très calme hors du restaurant. Aucun bruit la nuit. Les chambres côté restauration avec clim sont plus modernes et plus spacieuses. Chambre sommaire et chaude la journée qui peut se rafraîchir la nuit si l'on ne craint pas les moustiques. La salle d'eau est minuscule mais ça nous convient et le sol sèche rapidement après la douche. Le breakfast est parfait quel qu'il soit (sauf l'expresso qui est très amer). Le boss nous a commandé nos billets de train, c'était parfait car c'est toujours un peu compliqué. Côté restau, carte fournie, diverses spécialités. Les plats sont variés et certains non épicés (si si ça existe) mais il faut le demander. Bonne cuisine, ingrédients frais. Ambiance décontractée. Personnel attentif et sympathique.

This is just a review of the restaurant. I will be doing a separate review for the guesthouse. I have just had the most delicious banana flower curry with fried rice and bread. OMG....I cannot tell you how delicious that curry was. Its simply amazing. Tastes a little like chicken... but totally plant based.....I DEFINITELY made the right choice of food tonight. My tuk tuk driver Ravi recommended it as a very local food. It is divine. He was right. I asked for it extra spicy....it was perfect 👌

We stayed and ate here for 3 days Beds are firm but comfortable and the rooms were clean. Towels and soap provided as well Food was really good across the board and more importantly so was the chai and coffee! Views from the roof top are beautiful, you can see the river and the temple along with all the temples in the surroundings. Naresh was a fantastic host as well and we shared many a good laugh. Location is perfect as well and quite which is ideal. They also helped with any bookings we needed and made sure we got the best price!

We lodged here for 3 nights. Room given to us felt congested for the price we paid. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Virupaksha is just a stone's throw away. Their roof top seating offers a splendid 360 degree view of the surrounding, even as far as Anjanedri, needless to say the view of the meandering Tungabhadra is astounding. I however regret to say that I left an article during checkout and the staff was not very cooperative in helping me trace the article. So word of caution is be extremely careful during check out as anything left behind may not be retrieved.

The place is very nice for stay. The people from this place are too helpful. Resturant food quality and taste is so good. Resturant rooftop have beautiful sunset veiw. Thank you chatgpt for suggesting such good place. Also thank you for guesthouse peoples for great service.

Rooms were good, and the overall service and food were also very good. Ravi, the attender, convinced us to take a 2-day auto guide trip to cover the south side for ₹1500, and that was totally worth it — he covered almost 15 places. However, the next day for the other side, he showed only 2 places and still charged ₹1500, which I feel was not a fair amount. Except for this issue, the overall stay and service were good.

For a decent family this is not a place to stay. The guest house is situated in a narrow lane. To reach this place you have to navigate so many turns and twists. Even after so much of navigation you have to park your car 200 meters away from the guest house and have to go by walk with all your luggages. As soon as seeing the place and the property I just came back without even entering and booked another hotel 10 kilometres away. May be a good place for backpackers. Not for a family with car. Host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and their restaurant is one of the best in Hampi - both in price and quality. Rooms were without AC, and modest, but I would still recommend the Gopi guesthouse to anyone visiting Hampi for the temples and the surrounding sites. The host is also able to connect you to local auto-rikshaw drivers who will give you a full-day tour of all the sites in the area at a very affordable price.

The rooftop cafe/restaurant is really good. Homestyle food and cozy ambience makes it a must go. There are a lot of restaurents in and around but we kept coming back to this one. Goes easy on your pocket and the food tastes really good.

The people running this place couldn't have been more diligent in ensuring we got there safely, we were happy and comfortable and everything in between. They helped us source bikes, they washed our clothes, they cooked the best pancake I ever tasted but best of all, they have maybe the best rooftop view in Hampi. It was awesome staying here and I will definitely come back. Thank you guys!

Dropped by this small, hippie-style café with those quirky crab tables and cozy corners. The place has a nice vibe, relaxed and artsy, and the chai we ordered was genuinely good. But yeah, the prices felt a bit over the top for what it is. A nice spot to check out once, but definitely on the expensive side.

Kudos. It's a great place to explore Hampi. Just near to great Virupaksha temple, this property has stunning view of gopuram from its rooftop. The hospitality of mr Naresh and family is exceptional. A roof top restaurant serves your food needs and its homely in all means. To cherish wonderful memories of hampi with my family I owe the support of these kind people. Keep it up

We stayed for 4 nights, then went away for 3 and returned for 2. What stood out for us was the extent to which our hosts were dedicated to helping us achieve everything we came to Hampi for. We thank Naresh and Pampa for making our trip so enjoyable and rewarding.

I went her for dinner as a solo traveler I would definitely recommend this place it has wide variety of options. They have rooms also well, the aloo paratha was really delicious the ambience was with beds and to sit down and eat. If you would like tasty food and relaxed ambience should visit the place 😊

I both stayed in the rooms and enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. Below are the pros and cons of each. Overall Pro: Team was very attentive, being willing to accommodate two requested room changes (due to heat/ noise) and being very willing to answer questions I had and exchange money as necessary. Attention to detail and service mindset that is unparalleled. Rooms: Pros: lots of storage space, has A/C option and hot water. Room came with bottled water, soap and toilet paper. Cons: likely the same as other accommodations in Hampi itself, very basic. The universal adapter plug burnt out/ was not working when I tried it, the bathroom smelled like backed up plumbing, and the toilet bowl was leaking. A cockroach and several ants snuck in during my stay so keep your luggage above the floor! Food: Pros: Attentive staff and good variety of foods! Dosa for breakfast was very tasty. Cons: Not so much bad but the banana leaf curry, Spanish breakfast and filter coffee were average.

Excellent : Services & conseils de plats impeccables :) On a goûté des plats très bons ! - eggplant curry : incroyable, je suis allergique à la cacahuète donc ils ont adapté le gravy avec du palak c’était encore meilleur que l’original - Malai kofta - cashew curry Je ne conseille pas cheese naan on ne sent pas le cheese, ni le cashew rive pudding manque de gout (ajoutez de la cardamome..serait mieux !)
