Gorgas Creek Cave

What an awesome surprise to come upon. Look up the local history on it, there are many cool tales. From the legend Kelpius to German gold prospectors.. very cool.

Nice spot but have come here multiple times and and found some weird stuff like ritual scrafice things creeped me out take a look at the pic Kali statue weird or maybe just unknown to me

Found a Wicca altar to the Hindu goddess of death Kali (no joke)

Wissahickson Valley park is so beautiful and interesting

Drove 50 miles to see this natural wonder. Got repeatedly lost. Had given up hope and prepared to die in this urban wilderness when a Saint Bernard named Madeline Khan appeared with a barrel full of bootleg Moonshine. It's lead us back to the baseball diamond and safety. (read in either Samuel Jackson or Foghorn Legborn accent)

Great place! Not as many people as the main part of Wissahickon. You won't find the caves on the main path, you have to go off and those trails are HARD. Tons of fun for adults, dogs and kids!

Quarter mile past bottom of Gorgas Lane .. To the Left 35 ft up . .. come to the cave ... been there many times. Kids get a good kick out of this..or .. head East from VALLEY GREEN about a mile. Look for PWC site ... go right .. just up on the Right.

Interesting to see, but it's viewed from afar through the trees and bushes. You can walk right past or if your didn't know if was there.

Kinda cool, but pretty small. Looked like a homeless person May have been living there.

More of a series of rock outcroppings and crevices than a cave. If you're walking down a nearby trail its worth checking out.

My son loves this spot!! Great place to rest after a long bike ride.

It's kinda of a cave or just a hole in the rocks. One time visit was all it took for me to never need to see it again.

Neat little landmark, but not really much of a cave. Still went and took a picture of course.
