Grand Villaggio Hotel

Room looks neat and clean with basic facilities. There is no city view, but I really liked their excellent service. Even the valet parking and other services were very good and well managed. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I would like to raise a concern regarding the swimming pool access timing. Firstly, the receptionist informed us that the pool opens at 8:00 AM. However, when we went to use the pool at 9:30 AM, it was still closed. Secondly, the posted timing at the pool area clearly states that it is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Based on this, we booked yesterday at 7:00 PM expecting to use the pool, but we were not allowed to swim. We just booked here for my 3 years old baby as she want to swim. It’s so dissapointing for us. These inconsistencies caused inconvenience and confusion during our stay. We kindly request clarification on the correct pool schedule and ask that accurate and consistent information be provided to guests to avoid such issues. We hope this matter will be addressed promptly. Thank you.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in the Middle East – your first impression upon arrival is the heavy security presence and staff members staring at you as you arrive – it may be something to do with the groups of guys that seem to linger outside at night. The reception is not very welcoming, the rooms are old and tired, there was constant noise of doors slamming through the night when I stayed there, the breakfast on the 16th floor was a miserable experience also. Finally, it’s not in a very attractive part of town with limited options for nice restaurants within walking distance – the worst of it all was – this hotel was actually very expensive to stay in at USD 400 per night when I stayed there – I would certainly not recommend it.

The hot water got used up after 10 minutes of showering so the other people in the room can only shower with COLD WATER. That's only a little part of the painful experience, not to mention the extremely disturbing noise from the AC and the filthy pillows. On top of that, the lobby is filled with a disgusting smell. Completely OVERPRICED and NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Every thing is perfect except the elevator bell my room was very far from the elevator but every time you can hear the elevator bell, specifically at night not easy to sleep with that sound. Every thing else was perfect the hospitality, people who's working there are kind, clean room, perfect house keeping, hotel in the center of the town.

I’m extremely dissatisfied with my stay at Grand Villaggio Hotel. The room was uncomfortably cold, the furniture was old and worn out, and basic amenities were missing — there were no face towels and no dental kit at all. The most disturbing issue happened in the middle of the night, when a staff member entered my room without knocking or any warning. This was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe. On top of that, when I called reception to bring my car, the girl at the front desk was laughing and behaving in a very unprofessional way, which was uncomfortable and disrespectful. Overall, this place does not meet basic hospitality standards and is absolutely not worth the money. I would not recommend staying here.

Staff: polite. Helped to solve some problem with check-in (can't dive to details) - I'm very grateful Room: Interior is ok, despite age is noticable AC works very loud - turned off, it was ok (march 20-22) through the night +2deg up to 24 deg Celsius In the bathroom there is a bidet(!) and phone - usually such facilities only in 5star. Mattress is hard to me - prefer extra soft. Service Asked for plates and kitchenware - delivered in 5min At the same time, after make up they forgot to leave towels ) Conveniently located nearby bus station. BUT: A mosque next door - wakes you up 100% even through ear plugs. Overall it was 4/5 experience to me for 2 night stay. But I believe under other circumstances, when AC should work all time and ear plugs are not an option - it might be 2 or 3 out of 5 experience.

Very nice hotel. Close to abudhabi main bus station. Staffs are very friendly. 24 hours check in. Just mail them if you are checking late at night.

Never Never again. After a stressful week, I came to Abu Dhabi for a vacation hoping to relax, but this hotel is pure stress. The room next to us was partying middle of the day, the manager knocked once but nothing changed. My own room (1104) is facing the elevator, and I had to listen to the elevator bell ringing every single minute, trying to sleep but can’t. Forget about sleep tonight. It’s not even cheap. Add just 50 AED more and you can stay in one of the best hotels in Abu Dhabi where you’ll actually rest. This place is noisy, stressful, overpriced, and a complete waste of money. 0/10 – never recommend, never neverrrrrrrrr coming back.

Nous y avons séjourné le temps de 3 nuits, hôtel situé en centre ville, facile d’accès. Personnel agréable et a disposition. Chambre spacieuse, propre avec tout ce qu’il faut à l’intérieur. Légère odeur de tabac froid mais pas gênant plus que ça. Petit déjeuner un peu léger par rapport à d’autres hôtels du même niveau. Quartier non touristique, besoin d’un véhicule pour se déplacer, parking à disposition.

My recent stay was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the hotel offers free water, tea, and coffee, along with hot/cold showers and requestable toiletries. Its location less than 1km from Al Wahda Mall is a big plus, and amenities like the gym, okay-sized pool, restaurant, in-room TV and safe, free Wi-Fi, free private parking, and strong AC cooling are decent perks. However, the experience was heavily overshadowed by several issues. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, the overpriced food was a letdown, and the worn-out, dirty carpets, along with rooms desperately needing a makeover, pointed to poor maintenance. My non-smoking room was ignored, and the blasting loud music from the top floor made it hard to relax. Overall, it’s a place with potential, but significant improvements are needed.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. Everything was going well and I was about to give it 5 stars, but heavy rain caused water leakage from the window. Apart from this issue, the stay was perfect. Overall, a very good experience.

The hotel itself was fine, but the lack of basic amenities like a toothbrush and toothpaste was inconvenient. Guests shouldn’t have to ask or go out to buy essentials that are usually standard in hotels.

They have upgraded suite room without asking for it … Thanks villaggio for the compliment … Hotel ,service and location is excellent.

Good hotel for caught up time with your family high recommended. Bar was cool from all staff was too kind hope to see you again.

A great hotel for a short stay. It's in a fantastic location with everything you need nearby, including a nice mosque and a Filly cafe. I would definitely stay here again.

Albergo in ottima posizione vicino alla stazione dei bus, camere molto grandi un pò datate ma tutto sommato comode. Assolutamente da evitare la colazione, molto cattiva!!

We stayed here during our short business trip here in Abu Dhabi. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the moment we stepped into their establishment they immediately assist us. The Hotel has a very good ambiance and feeling. Its is also quiete. Our room has a homey feel that helps us have a good rest during our whole stay. The location of the hotel is also very convenient as it is nearby Abu Dhabi Country Club where we attended some business matters, and also it is walking distance to Al Wahda Mall. Overall, it is a very good stay. Hope to stay here again soon.

I asked them for a shower cap in the morning I had to check out and I called the reception 3 times it took them ages to bring it. Breakfast was also very weak in variety.
