Very disappointing experience at HDFC Bank. I was assisted by Mr. Mit Rajpopat (M19672), working as a Teller/Authoriser. I was made to wait for more than an hour without any proper communication or justification. On top of that, the behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. Staff has some internal issue, being as a customer we dont care about your issue because of issue the are behaving unprofessional. Banking is a service industry, and such treatment towards customers is completely unacceptable. Staff should be trained to handle customers with respect and basic courtesy, especially when delays occur. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both efficiency and customer service standards at this branch.

Great branch with good ambience, well mannered and educated staff. Centre located with sufficient parking. Solving queries on priority basis and covers all services from Savings, current account to loan, gold loan, msme, sip, mutual funds and various services Very helpful staff,thanks for service.

Today, March 25, 2026, I went to the Shyamal branch of HDFC Bank to transfer a check from my office to ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. The check was for a liquid fund, with a cut-off time of 1:30 pm And I reached there at 1 PM, I lovingly gave it to Mit Rajpopat who transfers cheques at the case counter and told him that the cut off timing is 1:30 PM, then Mit Rajpopat said that it will be done while sitting, then I respectfully said sir please do it a bit quickly, then he angrily said don't stand on my head, go away from here it will be done and started getting angry So I said, Sir, don't talk angrily, I am talking calmly, so why are you talking angrilySo he became silent, I want to say that if you employ such people in HDFC Bank then your review is bound to be bad, so please take some action against such people.

One of the worst bank branch in Ahmedabad. The staff is so unprofessional and arrogant plus this bank brand is stupid it is just wasting the time of their account holder, they now know that HDFC has become a big brand but have forgotten that it was because of their account holders. Anyway this branch people took 1.5 months to process my cheque book request i ordered it to the home branch and guess what they delivered it to the address on my KYC and i thought they literally literates hired in this branch lol, then even after such a mistake they had this audacity to show me there tauntrams and talk to me like some president, And told me that you will recieve your cheque book here in 5-7 days. But again guess what it was almost 15 - 20 days and there was no response then i went to the bank and when checked, during that time i am being told that your CPV is pending soo it cannot be processed. I had to shift my place because my landlord was standing on my head till then. I am surely gonna go for legalities against this branch!!!!!

I had to give life certificate for pension I had visited 2 times and also follow up with Mr Sohel over his what's app and video call and voice call Today I also called up today But every time it is the answer that system for life certificate not working. I am following since 15 days. Then today I visited Ashram Road Branch where system working and also my life certificate issued. I very much dissatisfied with your Vejaipur Branch service and I had to go to Ashram road which far from my home.Other senior citizens also coming to Ashram Road due such reply from your office. Please look into to the matter.

I applied in HDFC Bank for new current account opening in this branch. For address proof, I submitted Aadhaar card. One of HDFC employee told that downloaded e-aadhaar card is valid only for 30 days, e-aadhaar card downloaded more than or older than 30 days is not valid. Then I asked him where it’s written that “downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) which is older than 30 days is not valid”, then your employee told that this term is written in UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website. Then I had gone through UIDIA website and no such term/ condition is mentioned in it. After that I also called aadhaar customer care, and customer care person also told that there is no such rule, downloaded e-aadhaar does not have any expiry. Your HDFC Legal team is non-sense, fool and does not know anything. As per Section 4(3) of Aadhaar Act, 2016 clarified that, “Downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) is a valid and secure electronic document which should be treated at par with printed Aadhaar letter. Ministries/ Departments/ State Governments/ Agencies accepting printed Aadhaar as proof of identity are hereby required to accept downloaded Aadhaar (e-Aadhaar) also as a proof of identity and not to discriminate it vis-a-vis printed Aadhaar.” Your HDFC non sense and foolish legal team is making statement that “we do not accept downloaded Aadhar (e-Aadhar) which is older than 30 days as same is our bank internal proce for new current account opening”. So your statement is against and contradictory to aadhaar Act 2016. Stop such non sense and change HDFC non sense LEGAL team who thinks their rules are superior than INDIAN LAW.

Hey there hope you guys going good at the moment of pandemic, actually I’ve CLASSIC account here in the branch of vejalpur Ahmedabad, classic account means we get a person by group(the group could be family members, colleague, or anything) so right now My banker is RAKESH SHAH I’ve been contacting him since last 1.5 months for assist me for my banking inquiry, well getting to the point so guys many of time I asked him for help for my account and that guy give me only one answer that is “ sir inquiry chalu che” I can’t understand how he’s getting inquiry that not possible to be solved even for 2 months so I think hdfc bank should take care of their customers and should train or choose their employees wisely, I’m feeling sorry for my self and thoes whom I asked to open accounts here in HDFC bank Group , the way I’m treating as a classic customer it’s very unprofessional.

Seriously disappointed by opening the account with HDFC Bank. The market review described that the bank has customer oriented attitude & good professional ethics, but when I went there to open an account, one of the employee told me that your account will be in working condition after 4-5 days after u provide the necessary fund to initiate the account. Even after waiting for 4-5 days & lots of follow up, the account was in working condition after 9 days, I got my ATM card & passbook.

My father visited this branch for NPS withdrawal verification process but they deny to perform verification and suggested to visit another branch. Poor service in digital era asking old age people to visit far distance branch. Thinking to close my account in HDFC now.
